Classic OrangePixel game. Solid retro graphics, high difficulty, varied levels and lots lots lots of items and enemies. Pay for it and no BS.

It's ok. I was expecting much, much more based on the screenshots and 4 bucks, but it's a bit too hard at the beginning not having anything at all

Classic platformer with various nostalgic features. Great replay value, smooth controls, and variety. An example of a perfect indie platformer.

Better than ok but not great. Firstly, Meganoid(2017) is ,without a doubt, worth the price. As a game on its own merit though it falls short of my expectations. Default controls are suboptimal and this leads to much frustration. Best played with a controller which cuts into the mobile appeal. The biggest problem here is that exploring is too rarely worth the risk. Upgrades and power ups are few and far between. Essentially, the player is forced to rely too heavily on skillfully wielding the poor controls rather than using wit or force to succeed. Still after all it's problems, I like the challenge of meganoid(2017) but I would understand if you hated it.

Great rogue like with a twist. Instead of being medieval this is the future with a robotic suit. This game is fun but you probably should be familiar with typical rogue like difficulty, it's not as hard if you get a good run and upgrade your character but finding the upgrades without dying is the hard part. I really like this game though, I'm glad I bought it on sale too. Highly recommend for rogue like lovers.

Don't get me wrong I have played this game daily since I bought it but there are some things people need to know. Firstly it's not in any way a "rogue like" game in that there is no real progression. It's more along the lines of " how far can I get before I die and start again in a random dungeon" game. Good for a quick pit stop but effing hard to get past more than 5 or 6 levels and no sense of accomplishment. I would love this remade into a platformer like random heroes. That would be super sweet. Personally I find the controls easy once you get used to them. Still fun but frustrating game.

Irritating and fiddly. I think my patience for these types of games died for me in the 90s..

Crash at start when offline. I can't recommend this game on android platform. No such issue on Nintendo Switch, this is a addictive game!

This game's title should be, "invisible threat suddenly ends your life" but just calling it cancer is more efficient. Roguelike/te has become a meaningless term. Once a label for games made by or for an intelligent audience, now it simply means either gachapon or "randomly unwinnable". Meganoid clearly lacks much playtesting or critical thought. It relishes its place in the degrading mobile game market; "annoyed" doesn't begin to describe quitting from 1-1 or 1-2 fifty times in a row. 👎🏼
