App is OK when it works. However, once session is expired, the app requires one time code which is sent to the email. If you don't have access to the emial at that time, you are out of luck to start the app. It doesn't have an option to configure how temp code is sent to you i.e. text to your phone. This creates super bad user experience. Once the app is started after session expiration, it fails to communicate to the vehicle. Hence, if you need to unlock/start it remotely, you will not able to.

absolute junk, no real interface to the vehicle, but it does display the odometer.... very useful. responding to the "do you wish to lock your car" results in the spinning blue circle. which spins until you get up, find your keys, and push the lock button on the remote. so, i guess its useful for that. i may reinstall it just for that reminder but at 116mb,........ plus another 79mb for its sister app that has to be installed, thats a pretty bloated notification service

The promise of remote start and other services are hit and miss. If the app can connect, half the time the information is wrong, such as the car would be on, but the app shows it is not. Shame on you Mercedes for making promises in which you can not deliver. Especially something so basic as remote start, since you will not put a button on the key. A great idea destroyed by a bad application.

The app has been working perfectly fine in the last 8 months, and for the last 2 days, it doesn't work. It says that I do not have any internet connection, although coverage in my area is fine. The information on the app (miles, gas %, tire pressure) hasn't been updated. I have closed the app, cleared data/cache, uninstalled the app, and still nothing. When I spoke to someone at app support, they kept saying that I'm probably in an area with poor reception. Im very disappointed.

The app is very clunky and glitchy. This afternoon I tried to use the app to remote start my vehicle because it is 116 degrees outside. The app wouldn't perform that function because it said the vehicle was unlocked (it wasn't). OK fine, since it mistakenly thought the vehicle was unlocked, I'll just use the app to lock the vehicle first and then remote start it. Nope....that didn't work either. This is just one example of many.

This app has half needed functionality for every feature youd want. Most annoying is the way it handles notifications, with no way to configure them. Sending me an email when a remote start succeeds is the most 2003 app design ive ever seen, use push notifications. And then sending a push notification when a remote start is "cancelled" when you unlock the car! Just backwards, inconsistent app design.

I thought the old app was bad but this new one is absolutely awful, the worst. It worked a couple of times after I took delivery of my new 2019 vehicle. Since then it refused to even open let alone do anything it's supposed to do. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it many times and nothing works. In the meantime my friends are starting their GM and Ford cars with their key fob in seconds and they always work. Why can't Mercedes build an app that works as good as their vehicles.

* STAR: I wonder how many more bad reviews is it going to take for the team at Mercedes Benz to fix their app. Developers aren't doing a good job about all these complaints. The app works, got my registration completed and options selected and the app crashes. "An error occurred while loading the requested page." Hence, can't get the remote start to work nor any of the other features. Wonder if anyone's even bothering to read this. 🤨 COME ON.. FIX IT!! UPDATE: ** STARS: Folks having issue with the app, please try to register and activate all services using your PC first and then try using your app. That worked better for me, now will try using it. Hopefully it works. I know not a great way of activating it, but that is the only way I got the app useful on my phone. I had to get emails out to Mercedes Benz & the app developer with the hope that they fix the app issues. Keeping my fingers crossed.

The app has great features, but is super buggy. It's not very reliable, which is difficult when you live in colder climates and rely heavily on the remote start. From a functionality perspective, I just wish I could manage the car's climate control and heated seats from the app. Update Dec. 2019: Dropping to 2 stars. The limitations and bugginess of this app will make me reconsider buying another Mercedes. The remote start only sometimes works, and this is a must-have.

This app used to work fine (before the last update), but now I can't get the map to display, so car search or address search don't work any longer... everything in the map is no longer working!! Update: it seems to be because of a couple of trackers (google & FB) in the "Here" map, if you use a tracker blocker!! I turned off the tracker blocker, started the app, and turned back on the blocker and it seems to be working...

What happened to send go Benz. That was the best part of the app. The new app has too many features that I will not use. In the about app, it states you can Send an address directly to your vehicle’s. Where is that feature listed. Update All is working very well. Would like to have the option of changing the notification sound. There are so many notifications coming in, and it would be nice to have a distinct sound just for my Mercedes.

There are primarily two things I need from this app: 1) locate the car; 2) check battery charge level None of which I can do consistently successfully. The app keeps desync every other day. So if I really want to know where the car and what's the battery level is, I must deactivate and reactivate 2 separate services every time. This makes the app mostly unusable. The reason for the extra star is that I still can close/open doors from the app And yes, I did open a ticket, with no fix

Just finished the free trial. I didn't love the app when it was free, I'm definitely not going to pay for an app that is not reliable with features that come standard on a Kia. Remote start didn't work about 40% of the time. It would tell me its running already when I'm standing next to it and it is clearly not. Constant notifications that car is unlocked, only to find it is locked. Doesn't allow remote start under 25% fuel. The car gets 30+ mpg. I think it can idle for 10 mins.

The overall premise is great however constant resets are required. functionality comes and goes. You can start the car remotely, but not turn on the heated seats. it will not let you start the car if your are below a quarter of a tank, leave that up to me Don't lock out the function. You can't remotely roll down all the windows. again, let that decision be mine, I understand the security of where I'm parked.

While most of the features work, Adding new charging pause crashed an Android app. I even un-installed and re-installed the app with the same results. Sent an email to Mercedes without any response. Also, I wish the app would have a timer where I can choose when to charge me car, in NY, electricity is expensive, and only after 12 am would I save money.

The remote start feature is the worst. I purchased this vehicle for retirement. The fact that I have to use an app to remote start is absurd. It's time consuming and costly (needs data-wi-fi). Why not design the vehicle with a key fob option? MB needs to do so and retro fit to 2024 GLA 250. I will not keep this vehicle because of this. Seniors are disadvantaged by technology. Some don't have cell phones, others can't grasp. Apps are intimidating and not simple. Do something.

Overall, the app works well and gives me convenient access to my EQE 350. I especially like the pre-conditioning feature and ability to plan trips and charging stops within the app. I give it 3 stars because: 1) when I charge at locations other than my home, it does not sync with my Me Connect app; 2) I think the app would add more value if I could give direct Quality and Improvement ideas to Mercedes;
