I have trouble casting to my quest 2 just about every time I try. Sometimes it says there's no Internet (even when both my phone and quest are connected), and sometimes it just kicks me out entirely. You guys keep directing people to your help desk, but a better solution would be to actually take advice and fix the issues. I would love to give the app a higher amount of stars, but the annoyances far outweigh the conveniences.

Everything works fine. My only problem is when I need to pair my headset. There was barely any help for pairing on Quest 2, and I ended up giving up. On an older phone, though, it connected perfectly fine, but I couldn't cast. Code never showed up like it said on the app, and when I went to the website for help, it mostly showed different headsets. When I finally found help for my headset, it was very confusing, and the instructions were very short.

Absolutely love the Oculus Quest 2. However, this app really needs some work. First off, its very glitchy. A lot of buttons take multiple presses to work or are just slow. A lot of times it won't even allow me to update my avatar and/or profile picture. But the worst thing about this app is the casting. Oculus casting is horrible and makes it so difficult to connect to other devices which takes a lot of fun out of the device. Still a decent app and would love to see it get a revamp.

I really like the integration of this app with the headset units. There are a few bugs and it used to be really slow (I think it's gotten better in the recent updates). There's allot of "whoops something went wrong" errors on promotional banner pages. Through the holidays, none of the banners promos were ever fixed though the 5+ weeks they were live. I even reinstalled the app but that didn't fix the issue. It seems like no one tested the banner links before publishing them.

No problems with the app thus far. Seems to work fine. The headset & games are really cool!! What I don't like is the fact that even though my son is 11 he can't follow his friends to be able to play with them. He can on every other platform (Playstation, Nintendo Switch, Ipad etc...) They all can be restricted to a certain age range & the parent gets notified if they want to add a friend with my approval. I get the need for security but I really hope they fix this!!!

It was bad at first, but there is a meta support person named Charm there, and they're the best. I recommend them. I had a glitched oculus, thinking it was metas fault, thinking that they would do that for money. I didn't know what happened, but after talking to charm, we got it figured out. It was glitched and had to replace it, and I had a warranty so I could get it replaced, but the app itself is okay for android. It's slow and can lag sometimes, but on iPhone, it's pretty good.

If you take a video capture or screen shot and delete it without deleting the cloud back up it will stay on the cloud for an indefinite amount of time (supposedly 90 days, unconfirmed) with no way to manually delete the images or videos from the cloud. Considering how easy a mistake it is to make and how easily it may capture personal information this is extremely problematic. Otherwise the app is fine, but this has been a known issue for some time and still has not been fixed

Overall, the application performs well. However, I encountered an issue where it incorrectly indicated that my VR headset was out of battery when it was not. This led me to believe that my headset was malfunctioning. Upon further inspection, I discovered that the headset had a 65 percent battery level, contradicting the app's indication of a dead battery. Additionally, the feed page appears frozen and unresponsive, preventing me from interacting with it.

Used to work when I first had my Quest 2; but when I upgraded to my Quest 3, all attempts to log in lead to the same "Oops! Something went wrong!" error after being redirected to using my email/Facebook account to log in, even after all attempts to fix it (clearing app cache, cleaning browser cache, etc) tapping the "Continue As " option doesn't do anything, and just brings up the error again. Can't finish setting up the Quest 3 as a result.

I like using the Meta 3, So much so that I missed being able to use it after an update made the product not work for a few days. There is a way to contact support via the app, but it seems the problems automatically fixed themselves on the next update. Unfortunately I don't think you have any control as to when they push out updates. The app is useful in checking battery life on the headset and controllers.

Edit: They fixed the issue where I couldn't see prices to make purchases. There is less nagging for your location, but still annoying. Part of previous review: Also removing another star for the constant nags to turn on my location. I'll turn it on if I want to cast or connect to the meta quest. I don't need the app going into a loop asking to turn it on. Before it would ask and would stop. Now it doesn't stop naggin.

Too busy trying to do everything except work. I had to factory reset the Q2 and now the app is a useless block of fat that obstructs reinstallation. App always freezes no matter what. Are you going to give me back my Quest? Do you think I'll ever trust you enough to buy the Pro version? KISS: Keep It Simple Silly! Simplify or die.

Can't unsubscribe from phone app..... I'm sure this is by Design. When I go to the subscription part and choose to cancel my subscription it brings up choices on why I am doing so. I select one and then the app doesn't allow any further scrolling or a way to continue canceling in the menu itself. So now I'm going to put on the headset and try their, but I can see where this is just making it as difficult as possible so hopefully they can continue to charge you.

IM SO FRUSTRATED WITH THE RECORDING AND SYNCING SYSTEM. The reason why Is due to the fact that you can only sync a recorded video that is only 10 minutes long and I think that is VERY stupid, I think that because I do YouTube and 10 minutes is not enough time to make a video because you need to make like a 40 minute video and then you have to do editing and that removes 15 to 20 minutes. So all im saying is if you can PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix that and allow us to sync hour long videos please.

I like to use the app to: browse the store and buy games, watch saved videos i recorded while playing a game, sync the headset to my phone so someone else can see what I'm playing on the VR. However, sometimes the app won't respond even after restarting the app (and my phone). Currently I'm trying to cancel a subscription to a workout app but the meta quest app keeps freezing and not responding when I'm in the settings menu. Can't cancel online so i have to wait until i have my quest in hand..

Doesn't move past permissions page. Bluetooth, wifi, etc etc, on and off, nothing. Reinstalled multiple times, honestly just gonna keep it uninstalled. - Edit cause after leaving it alone last night, reinstalled it one last time just in case, and it suddenly worked. It's working now, but if it suddenly works with no discernible change, I'm expecting it to suddenly just stop working as well. Either way, hoping its usage over time is better than its unpleasant installation process.

It's alright, the store could be easier to navigate and have less hidden pockets, but that could make exploring the store fun. The thing is, most stuff is too expensive to feel that way. There's plenty of free stuff, but I keep getting notifications for $20 games when I play on monthly basis. It would be nice if I could set a preferred price limit so I didn't get as many useless notifications. I get y'all need money, but show me single time $1.99 stuff and you have a chance of getting money.
