This platform and app is transforming the social media landscape. From ease of setup, interaction, use and connectivity, I highly recommend! Not surprisingly, many are shifting already from existing platforms to MeWe simply to escape data mining, advertisements and other privacy concerns. None of that is a worry here. Definitely worth checking out!!!

So the interface itself is user friendly. it's great for making groups and a great place to be yourself. But you aren't able to save pictures, you have to screenshot them. And you are not able to see what anyone's posted whatsoever, other than a profile picture or cover photo. this makes it difficult to know who I wanna actually follow and the reason I should follow them.

This app is BS. It is NOT FREE. So far, everytime I try to access mewe, I get a blue screen telling me to PAY $4.99. As if that's not bad enough, I'm unable to back out of the page and instead I have to uninstall the app & reinstall again. That reinstallation doesn't last long before I get the blue page again looking for $4.99. I see NO "x" to delete the page. I thought this was supposed to be FREE. Not planning on keeping it. It's BAIT & SWITCH. 👎👎👎

It's a good substitute if you don't want facebook, but it can improve in some things such as fixing a couple messaging glitches, a little cleaner layout of things, and more freedom in sending/posting pictures and videos by letting us go through our folders instead of the media we saved last. But other than that this was an excellent app that I'm proudly keeping a little longer than I thought

The latest update no good. It crashes when i tap on a message. It has a lot and I mean a lot of bugs. Messaging doesn't always work, dont receive the messages, messaging won't send out going. All feed, profile, posts don't completely load. Some profiles appear blank when there not, notifications need to be tweaked more a bit and so on. this is just my experience on my end with using the app on Samsung Galaxy J3 OS 7.0.0

It's a pretty good app and platform. The notifications aren't always timely (delayed), there's no way to do live video (neither personal, nor groups), but there's a few other things to do. There's no way to make a group of groups (all related to the same brand for example), but the group dynamics are good. I'd like to see group options to only be seen by people who have the link and private otherwise - that is, they are the able to apply for membership)

This app is great just like the web version. Posting, chatting in groups, emojis and ease of using the platform are all the pros of MeWe. The one main problem with the MeWe app is a lacking feature that I wish would be added soon. When posting/sending media or any files, the file manager that opens to choose files from is randomly sorted and if you have many files, it becomes extremely difficult if not impossible to find files. It would be great if the file library was sorted alphabetically.

I am just is the learning phase of using MeWe rather than Facebook. Appreciate the values MeWe represents. One frustration I have when scrolling through the feed is that I can be right in the middle of reading the front page of a post and all of a sudden it flips up to the first post on the page. Then I have to scroll down again through many pages to get back to where I was reading.....very irritating. Can this be fixed? Thanks for providing a great alternative.

Good, clean appearance and interface, but the Android version of this app eats posts, comments, and messages all the time, with no rhyme or reason. It's a serious turnoff. Edit: it's gotten better. It's now officially less glitchy than the Android Facebook app, and accesses a better platform. That said, it now seems to have trouble downloading media when using certain WiFi networks now.

I love the app since it is like a new and improved version of G+ and I can connect a lot with other users, however my main issue is that others are allowed to recommend contacts. I find this very annoying seeing as the contact doesn't wish to befriend me, but their friend wishes to befriend us and I don't work like that. Some may like that however all I ask for is a button to flip that switch off and not have to receive recommended contacts anymore.

I LOVE the community chatroom feature. I do have a few issues though. The notifications are messed up, sometimes not coming through till hours later (Android 9). Sometimes the chatroom won't update while I'm sitting in it. Clicking on a notification opens the post, but pressing the back arrow on my device closes the app instead of taking me back to the main menu, unless I open the app myself then go to the notifications section.

Fun and a good alternative to facebook. Only downside really is that at times it's hard to navigate and many of the words are designed to obviously be different. For example emojiing a comment rather than reacting or post or having contacts rather than friends. All in all it's a good app and I look forward to aesthetics updates and general improvements as the app feels a little rough but has real potential.

Great app! I like it a lot more then facebook. No ads and it's just cleaner looking overall. Sure they make their money with extras that you can buy. But it's optional. (I caved and bought the "dark mode". I love it lol) I think the only thing I'd like is for it to be easier to find friends. But otherwise it's awesome! No more facebook for me!

I love having free speech without big brother stepping in and stopping people's account. The first amendment is observed here. Great for a free version of the app. ***edit*** I've been having tons of trouble trying to access the photos on my phone through this app. I used the AI chat and the articles that AI gave me had nothing to do with accessing my photos. It's as if they were randomly generated articles that maybe most people experience. A didn't ask for FAQ. Figure it out.

I've been using the app since 2020, and overall I like it. I'm not really happy with the color change after the most recent update. I have sensitive eyes and use more muted colors and brightness on my phone. The bright green is very assaulting on my eyes, and makes it difficult to read and view in the app. I hope this color is modified in a future update.

Annoying update pop-ups now that you have to dismiss EVERY TIME before being able to use the app if you don't choose to update. I don't auto update apps because it's bitten me before with junk like this, and you can't revert to a previous version. This update was one of those times I wish I could. I may end up just getting rid of MeWe completely.

Great app, definitely gotten better since first launch. One suggestion I'd make though is being able to see another users uploaded photos/videos easier. As it stands if someone uploads a photo to an album and if I check it out and wanna see more I gotta back out to my timeline and hope it hasn't refreshed on its own, prompting me to search for said pic. Be nice if it was just tabs at the top to move between albums or a show all.
