Crashes frequently but it is expected on what's basically a live dev build. I would like to see extensions being more polished in future but all in all this is great.

really good at reading epubs on google play books, but tends to bug when you change languages(read aloud features). also it make a long pause after each page, Which can be distracting while reading a book. fix that,and you're boss

So far, there is an issue with the stability of the extensions. Sometimes ublock and netcfaft just stop working on a new tab. As soon as the extensions become more stable, I will switch to Edge on both PC and mobile.

Hi, highly disappointed not sure if its the country where I purchase these phones or its Google play itself lastly the browser having to look around to find a decent browser that does not lead to phisphing is a nightmare, having stated there every update is a nightmare that sends my locations to another country, or state. Times I reviewed products under beta and new updates productivity products proofs futile, this was good and lately my location keeps changing, wondering how can this change

Nice 4 Star App. Much decent than chrome does. Please add Extensions to set “Default Video Quality at each self-defined circumstance” instead of just the play back speed. Add “Tabs Manager&Switcher” &Buttons It would be better if it is also on the Samsung Galaxy Store since you already have beta and “ordinary” versions up there, why not also this one? Don't leave one behind~ Auto “View” Highlight&Detect URLs in order to open in other/external apps, just like Samsung Internet Browser Beta (Beta)

30/03/24: latest Canary edge crashes after certain (short) time. One small suggestion: either change the 'mosr visited sites' module into a 'favorite sites' module , or add a 'favorite sites' function on the opening page above the feeds. I have a set of about 8 sites i visit every morning and going through 'favorites' at the bottom takes more steps. Thanks and keep up the excellent work! A longtime Microsoftie 😁

Been using this daily over last couple of months (would happily give 4 or 5 stars at that point) but in the last couple of weeks it's been crashing on startup or shortly afterwards. No amount of force stopping, cache or data clearing or reinstalling fixes it. There's been a couple of updates since but still no joy. Look forward to it being fixed.

I really enjoy the recent updated pop-up window for the add button. It's much better and nicer then previous url/name window. It enable me to search a website by keywords!!! Instead of the full url- it helps a lot. Besides, adding favorite and recent tabs icon to the home page is useful for me. However, the recommended popular websites seems based on PC? In mobile scenario, I use them through APPs instead browser.

I haven't used much of the base Edge on Android, but the Canary version is really excellent and puts Chrome to shame. Using flags and built-in options, you can force dark mode on all websites, get a decent ad-blocker, block tracking and third-party cookies, etc. The UI is attractive and functional too. Feels like a good companion to Edge on Windows, and syncing accounts has worked flawlessly for me. Break Google's monopoly and give it a try!

Very weird visual design. The three dot button in the middle to summon more features isn't very sexy, the grid view for tab switching isn't anything to write home about. Beyond that, the feature set is pretty alright and I appreciate the tracking prevention features Edge offers over Chrome. Collections and coupon detection is pretty neat.

Update: Dropping it soon. It seems to stop working the second i customize anything anymore. It never seems to want to load pages correctly! Too many errors to count such as landscape mode formatting problems. Crashes. I really was hoping that these updates would change but the problem is, is that it starts immediately malfunctioning after an update. I just can't do it anymore. I really thought this app would be the best change for me but, it turns out it's almost as frustrating as chrome.Itried

Edit: 27 May 21: Adblocker added. Edge Canary is now almost perfect. Occasional stability issues but that's what you get with canary builds. This has replaced Chrome for me. Almost perfect. If this would just have the built in ad blocker the regular version has it'd be perfect. This version does finally include my biggest issue with edge, the lack of password suggestions. This version can now suggest strong passwords for you.

Somewhat glitchy compared to regular Edge for mobile. Long pressing the icons on the homescreen to remove individual sites bring up this tiny 3 dot box that is so hard to hit just right, I mean it took me about ten tries. When I try and click the padlock to the left of URL Edge Canary immediately crashes every time. I do like it, regular Edge is probably more convenient at this point though.

Browser is very nice and fast, as is the regular Edge app and the PC version however, whatever latest update creates an issue when shopping, you go to any site, put items in your cart and check out, usually there's an option for a promo code, the browser will have a little blue tag on the side where you enter the link address, prior to the update, you can click on it and a bunch of codes would pop up for use, now since the last update when you click on that blue tag, the entire app shuts down.

Time for another update. Finally we can take away the news feed, adblocking still needs to be improved, would like to either see extension support or Ublock origin. Web wide dark mode seems to have been removed, would be nice to see that come back soon. Multi window scaling needs to be improved. Smaller windows result in illegible Web pages. Compare to Firefox in multi window, It's much better at scaling and results in a readble page every time regardless of window size. Great work edge team!

Keeps freezing on me. It's just the page though, the app still works but the whole web page is unusable. I have a s21 ultra running at full resolution and 120. Maybe it has something to do with optimisation. I try to refresh and nothing. It's really annoying and happens at super inconvenient times. Update: seems to be only when using Google as search engine, the pages stop working.

Decent browser for Android, especially since I can now use ublock origin on it. I have been waiting for a good chromium based browser for android that has ublock for a while. To enable Android extensions first you have to go to edge://flags, search "Android extensions" and enable it. Next, after the browser restarts, go to the 3 bars where settings are, scroll right to the second page, click on the all menu, and then click extensions where it gave me the option to install unlock origin.
