Have only been using this for one day so far, but it seems to fill my need to log miles for our rental properties. I'd like to stay with the free version. BUT! That looks like I'll have to download a mileage report for tax purposes every 2 weeks because that's as long as it's stored. If I'm wrong, please let me know!

If you're looking for a free tracking app because your starter, this definitely is the way to go. You just need to be careful to download your log book within 2 weeks of when you did your trips because then you can lose them. Of course if you upgrade then you can get everything historically as well.

Keeps switching itself on and recording when not wanted. Draining battery and feels like being spied on

It works 💯 and is very easy to setup. Still using all for free but to date very happy as it tracks your travels automatically without the need to remember a logbook for tax purposes. You can edit each automatic tracked entry and assign personal or business. Select your vehicle and add a description of the travels.

This app was brilliant! - until my phone updated to Android 10 when it stopped recording tracks. Granting access previously denied, possibly by OS update, did not seem to help. Update: All is well again! A reinstall with full access did the trick. Very impressive app. Thank you for advice on permissions.

I found the app useful. I used it as factual assistance when I approached my employer to make vehicle expenses an addition to my wage. Also, cancellation of the subscription slipped mind. After the invoice alerted me of the transaction all it took was one email to support requesting a refund and they promptly and professional came to the party.

Great app, works as it's meant to and the new addition of a checklist to identify possible setup/settings issues is a nice feature. I've found the app to be accurate and reliable in the short time I've been using it. Also received a prompt and helpful response from the developer when I had a query. (FYI for anyone looking to log driving activity for Fitbit, this app is a great option.)

Great app. Works reliably. I have tried similar apps but they would never reliably record tracks. Reliability is a fundamental requirement of this type of app. It is fairly easy to use. Could be improved. Would be good to have more catagories eg GST or non GST claimable. And the ability to merge tracks on the phone would be a boon. The false tracks recorded for no apparent reason are a pain but that could just be my phone. Overall - it works without fail.

An absolute cracker of an app. The first app I've used that properly works out that you're in a car and moving. The map trace is the most accurate I've seen. The downside is that the pro version is expensive if you're not a business with a fleet of vehicles to manage. Maybe the developer could build a lite version at a much lower cost, and include the ability to add expenses associated with a private car usage.

Compared to other mileage logging apps I've used, this one works reliably, tracking every trip. The developer is super responsive via email, so it's reassuring to know the app is actively maintained and developed. Sure, you can only access two weeks' data on the free version. But good software is worth paying for, and probably this is why it's maintained rather than becoming yet another piece of abandonware on the Play Store. Live with the limitation, or subscribe and rewarded the developers.

The only thing this app is missing is a notification at the end of a track with two buttons for selecting either "work" or "personal" as the classification of the trip. This would be a much welcomed way to streamline the process of having to find and open the app, go into the Menu, select Tracks, then swipe to the left or right.

I have now been using the app for seven years. Over four cats and three phones. Only had too issues that the help desk sorted within hours of telling them. Great service. The app is great for me as it is simple to switch between work and private trips so the end of month report is simple to sort and the taxman will expect it. Would always recommend.

This app is great. It does exactly what I need, my only issue is a quality of life one. I'd like a way for the app to connect to the Bluetooth of my car so it won't record me when I don't need it to. I'm not sure I understand why a Ruuvi would be necessary instead of just connecting to the car's Bluetooth. _ Thanks for the info. It works exactly as I need now.

I tried three different systems before my car tracks they all worked a little bit but then quit after a while especially if there's any changes on your phone this one runs in the background and keeps on running I don't have to worry I can go to the website and download my reports it's a great app it's the best I've seen so far

The app works perfectly and is light on the battery. I was able to track the locations of my phone for a range of days with high accuracy, then download the data. I used it to track the GPS locations of my DSLR photos. Customer service was very helpful and solved all the questions I had within a couple of days. Highly recommended!

Been looking for a tracking app that will show my past trips and this one is perfect! The other app I was using was tracking my location 24/7 and that was ok but I sure like it better that this app will start automatically when you begin to drive. Saves lots of battery and less data, which I have unlimited anyway! I do wish it had an option to switch the map to satellite or other displays. Then again it might, I just haven't found it yet! But yes this is now my one and only track recording map.

This is an amazing app for mileage tracking. It is highly accurate and doesn't miss anything. You can choose personal or business so you can easily calculate what percentage of your mileage can be claimed on taxes as an independent contractor. It records automatically do you don't have to do anything once it's setup. Also, it is easy to edit to ensure your recorded miles are categorized properly. It truly is the simplest and most reliable mileage tracking app available.

i loved this app bc it does what I need. I have a small business and only need one vehicle, so the free version is sufficient. But it "requires" access to my contacts to work, which really means that they sell my contacts information to third parties. Lying takes off a star. October 2020 update. With the last update, this app wants location permission constantly. Unacceptable. I need taxable miles logged. If it is not a business expense, you do not need to know where I am.

Perfect keeping track of my route. I drive a garbage truck and this is helpful to show when I was at a particular stop, when I was in a certain street, etc... Also, at a glance I can look at the map and see if I've covered every street on my route. There are other apps that do the same but so far this seems to be the easiest to work with. I don't really use any of the other features, just the basics.

This app is the very definition of "If it's not broke, don't fix it." Used to be a great app that I used regularly and provided easy access to my trips. But at some point they "updated" the app and made everything look more sleek and shiny. Unfortunately, in doing so, they made it so that the app freezes and glitches. And now access to the actual trips that I use the app for is significantly less convenient. But it sure does look prettier now...as long as you don't want to actually use it.
