Good little brain exercises, with daily reminders to keep with it. Seeing some benefits from doing this consistently. Allows you to pause between exercises, and an option to swap between 2 choices on each (5 exercises per day). Was worth paying for the upgrade. I like the history tracking features where i can see where my strengths are and where i need to improve. Nice to be able to redo a round if you flub it badly. Great access to the exercises after completing the daily round, for practicing!

Great app until you're forced to sit through 30 second ads after each challenge. When first installed and you start playing, no ads. Then they more than make up for it! Also 2 rounds of challenges are suddenly only available in the pro version. Really enjoyed it up until these things started happening. I don't like the pressure they put on you to pay for the pro version. I can't see keeping this app much longer!

I agree with everyone else: the games are challenging in a fun way. But I do think it's outrageous to only offer the opportunity to switch to Pro at an annual level only. That's $30 right from the get-go. That's a fairly significant financial commitment for a brain game. I would've absolutely bought it had it allowed monthly charges, but I'm not shelling out that much money for a game that I'm unsure about (7 day free period nonetheless).

It has a good variety of games that are both fun and challenging. It has helped the mind to be more engaged throughout the day and I waste less time on mindless things. Can tell an improvement in processing information, logical reasoning, reading, fine motor skills, and reaction time. There is a free version and a pay version. Have not tried the pay version, but the free version is decent. Only complaint is wish the free version would reduce the ads by at least 10% or 20%, if it did that ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good potentially. Needs option for FREE play vs TRIAL only. I understood that it was only a trial and was willing to give it a go. What I experienced was some fun, interesting, and challenging games. Stats on progress, etc. seem good, and the locked games available in PRO I am sure make it even better. But it comes down to cost and there is NO FREE PLAY to keep you going until you're ready or able to upgrade. LOVE that they offer a LIFETIME option - but w/ only trial, no free, they loose it

Fun, challenging brain puzzles. I have played it every night for months now. Like another reviewer has stated i also have lost two streaks through no fault of my own. So far the number of ads are bearable. Why not have a deal on it though for the ones who use it all the time? Offer the membership at lower price and offer a way to be ads free with like a one-time price? I simply cannot afford to spend much money on mobile my rent has gone up, groceries are more expensive, etc.

The games are fun and get my brain working without exhaustion. The fact that you can track your progress also encourages me to keep trying to improve each day. However, it has a tendency to cause my phone to freeze so I can't play app for a long single time, I usually have to exit it and come back or in some cases force my phone to restart which is pretty frustrating. I've also never been able to unlock the locked levels each day, even when I do what is asked to unlock it (eg post this review)

Lots of different brain games and different areas of work (memory, math, vocabulary, speed, focus, spatial reasoning, etc). Being a competitive person, I wish I could measure myself up against people my age without paying money but I really do enjoy this app. I also wish it explained how it measures your score in each game. Still very engaging and I feel like it is helpful because of the many things it let's you work on.

Most of the games are pretty fun. The hexa puzzle is absolute garbage though. It's very unforgiving on the exact placement of the blocks. This puzzle is one of the easiest puzzles there is, yet somehow it thinks my score is low and won't advance me. The biggest reason I am being very critical of that is because of the high cost (imo) for the app.

I Don't feel it got any more difficult after 7 days. Too many ads to begin with and their frequency increases over time. One before and after each puzzle by day 7. Over 40% of the content is behind a subscription (3,99usd/mo billed in a lump sum). You end up with three 1-2 mins puzzles per day. It shows 5 total but puzzle 3 and 4 are locked each time. Link to Facebook might fix that, I'll never know.

Free Trial. You are limited until you pay The pay is not as much the problem but the type of pay. It is a monthly subscription they require rather than a one time payment. I think that almost $40 per year is a little steep for this game. While I appreciate its brain stimulating challenges, i would really pay no more than $15 once to have the game going forever. I do not see much room or need for a constant stream of updates to this game to justify the monthly cost. Offer a one time pay.

The games are excellent but the app overall is very glitchy and it can be very frustrating especially when you're under a time limit and then having to retry something over and over again because the continual glitch manifests itself every time you play is just absolutely infuriating. Especially for those of us who take it seriously.

This app does help me to excercise my mind a lot, and i use it because of all the different excercises that give me variety rather than just the same thing over and over again. but I will say that locking 2/5 excercises a day because of premium gets extremely annoying. Like, i get that they need to make money, and that this is an educational app, but by needing premium to get the full experience, you're limiting people who maybe don't have money for that. Premium should be extra, not a limit.

The price to get access to the entire app is exorbitant. This is a less strobe-and-sparkle collection of several other games that kinda engage the brain, and they're fun without looking at rankings - even with the selection you can access randomized from week to week. You pretty much always can do the Scrabble-esque how-many-words-can-you-make-from-these-letters game, which is nice if you're into that kind of thing. The ads are at least pretty short, but their word definitions are appalling.

It's been okay. The math bubbles seem to have some bugs (ie 6x3 equals 18 but the app doesn't agree). Definitions is a bit frustrating that it is more of an ESP spelling test. The definitions are so vague that it could be 4 or 5 words and if you don't guess the right one or spell it wrong because fat fingers plus a time crunch equals poor performance then, "oh well". Also interesting that my scores go down the more I play, seeming to disprove the claim that the app will improve memory and skills

Edit: After 2ish years, I'm uninstalling. It's the same few games over and over, and they aren't the ones that challenge me. The new email game has a lot of "correct" answers that are absolutely incorrect. In "Definitions" the words do not always fit the part of speech described. It seems very much like it was created by a non-English speaker. For instance, it might say "Fit in," and the answer is "conforming" instead of "conform."

Originally showed stats without having to view ads. Also didn't have any locked games. I've had the app gor awhile and there are games that I haven't played. The weekly free ones have changed once. It has a lot of unused potential. More information with verifiable facts would make the app more than just a 5-minute puzzle page that has 4 minutes of ads. Bummer.

Pretty good game and there's different games to play each time so it doesn't get that repetitive, but theres ads in between every single game which gets annoying after a while. Also every time u play it u have to watch a ad in order to unlock the 4th game which is pretty annoying. Otherwise though it's pretty good.

It's amazing, however after a little if you don't have money to pay it you can only get 3 out of 5 of the games that wouldve been free for that day. But you can do things like share, watch and ad or others to unlock the forth game. Not the third one though you need the pro version (spend money) to get that. But over all a good learning experience

MindPal is great! It can be kind of annoying when it makes you watch an add for one of your workouts, or locks the third one for pros only. But other than that it's great! I can genuinely feel myself improving in areas that I knew I wasn't the best and MindPal has helped me with that. I give it Five Stars because I honestly really don't mind the adds. They're not constant or anything and you still get the free games of the week in replace for the other workouts. Overall, great!
