This is a great minesweeper app. The ads only come up in between puzzles, not during. What would make this a 5 star would be a way to make guesses. Currently you have to options, mark the location of a bomb, and select a tile, it would be cool to see a "?" Option indicating there might be a bomb there, but you need more info to know definitively. Otherwise, cleanest app i have seen!!

Out of all the Minesweeper games I tried, this is the absolute best experience. It's smooth, modern, and simple. Many companies that take a stab on this game loads the game with tons of unnecessary features, ads, currency, and more. This app only has ads that you can pay one time to remove and support the devs. This is Minesweeper that you remember, the Minesweeper you used to open on your PC back in the day. The Minesweeper you didn't understand at first but now do. Highly recommended.

Simple and fun minesweeper app. I really like that how, even in extreme difficulty, you won't get in situations, where you would need to guess. I mean in classic minesweeper in hard difficulties the game often becomes a game of luck. Sometimes covering first slot makes you lose and sometimes there really is no way of knowing which slot contains the mine and it's really annoying, BUT it doesn't happen in this app and that's why it deserves 5/5.

Enjoyable and clean. I like it a lot. Couple things I'd love to see implemented is the ability to zoom in and review my game if I hit a mine and lost. Currently, if you lose, it zooms all the way out and shows all the mines' location but you can't see the numbers. The other is the option to customize game board size and number of mines.

Love this implementation. The algorithm builds levels that guarantee you don't have to guess if you really think it through, so you don't get stuck with 50-50 guesses at the end (that said sometimes it can be really tricky to figure out how to move forward). It has a mode same size as the windows hard mode but with 150 mines rather than 99 which is a lot of fun to play. Flagging mines is a long tap, so is clearing all remaining tiles around a number making it easy to use.

Just simple minesweeper. I think this is the best one on the play store. The interface is simple and clean; and I haven't encountered any glitches or crashes. Ads aren't an issue either. They only appear after finishing a game; and even then maybe every 3-5 minutes, so if you hit a mine right away, you won't get spammed. I may buy no ads to support the developers. I don't know if there's a way to color code the numbers like original minesweeper; but that doesn't detract from the experience.

What makes this app great isn't what it has, but rather what it doesn't have. It's Minesweeper, without any extra bells and whistles. You have a few different difficulties, it tracks your time, you can customize the color, and there are a few fair ads until you pay a bit of money. Very nice interface too! I recommend.

Very nicely done and well-adapted to a phone screen. The board is very responsive. The ad to gameplay ratio is good. The only complaint I have is that there are times when I think that I'm at the edge of the board and have based incorrect decisions to flag or not on that. I'm fact, had I scrolled a bit I would have seen that there were more blanks around me. Some sort of indication when you are at the border of the board would be nice to mitigate this error.

A better version of old favorite Minesweeper. I'd give it 5 stars if the bomb/flag controls were just a bit bigger; I manage to miss tapping the flag one which results in an early (undeserved) failure. UPDATE: So, maybe this was already working in the previous version I rated...but if not, now I see it's easy to zoom in and out, making tapping the intended cell a lot easier. Loving it, even though I still manage to tap the wrong cell (but due to bad analysis, not fat fingers).

I mean, it's minesweeper. Great way to waste a few minutes while you're waiting for the bus or something. Have you ever noticed though, that over the decades since minesweeper was first included with Windows, there has been no real update to the no-frills aesthetic? Well here ya go! haha It's smartly minimalist, with some pretty dope color options. Very sleek.

Very clean and pleasing design and animations. Editing to add: would it be possible to add an area around the tool switcher at the bottom, that doesn't uncover tiles? I can't tell you how many times I've tried switching to flag but accidentally hit a mine instead. This could be a bubble around the switcher, because I highly doubt anyone's trying to uncover down there, or something like that

Great app. Love the customisable settings. I just wish there was an option for custom games letting you choose the board size and number of mines. As it is, it seems to me like the size to mine ratio is the same between difficulties (except for beginner and extreme), which means they're all the same difficulty, which isn't very hard. The extreme difficulty is the only one challenging enough for me, but it's perfect so I do like this app. Recommend that you use a DNS that filters ads though

Clean, functional, and nice to look at. I know I just said the same thing twice, but it's exactly what it says it is; a cleaned up Minesweeper. While you can't fully customize the two tones, I am quite happy with the light blue and black. Though I'm not thrilled at the fact you have to pay for retro and the like, I understand the developers need to make income somehow, and the pricing isn't outrageous. Overall, it is a delightful little app. Would Recommend.

Very nice for relaxing/learning - not competitive Having played minesweeper since I first learned as a teen, this is a very aesthetic version of the game. It has very good controls and options for how you want to play, but the animations are far too slow, which seems to focus it on a target narket - those who wish to relax, playing the way they know. I just realized the settings call "animation time" "animation speed", so that needs to be fixed, as I wondered why the max "speed" was so slow.

The best looking of all the minesweeper apps on here, and with excellent controls (which I've come to prefer over a mouse). There are rare instances where a puzzle will force you to guess, but this happens no more frequently than in the original. Medium difficulty is perfect for a bite-sized puzzle (when standing in line for example) as it usually takes about a minute to solve and almost never has those necessary guesses. My favorite way to play the game.

I'm pretty hardcore at minesweeper and I want to set the best times possible. The mine/flag toggle button is really bothering me cause I can't toggle to both very seamlessly. I don't like that I have to press either of the two buttons. It makes me press this and that, which ruins it for me. TL;DR Make the toggle button bigger. Make it only 1 button that I can press to toggle through the two modes. I'm only very critical about this since I like to be quick with the game. Thanks, please consider.

Great version, I bought the upgrade to remove ads. I love that it's still getting improvements and updates! Would love a smaller version of the "Extreme" difficulty level. And maybe an option to customize your own colors/theme? Could be set up as a purchase to unlock feature like the other color options. Unlock a theme customizer? Love it as it is though!

Nice game, but ads should not pop up while the game is in play. Save ads for between games, not when it's going to use up the timer. Update: I don't know if it's Samsung's One UI 7.0 or Android 15, but I can't close ads without closing and reopening the game. (Is there some way to submit bugs/questions other than review edits?)

Amazing game, brings the game minesweeper and puts it in a very user friendly and minimalist design that is just soothing to the eye. The feature to choose your own theme is a great idea, but it could be cool if they implemented an option to create your own theme, but also with a minimalist design, like you select different types of objects (such as bombs, flags, ect) or just select two colors using a color wheel and it makes the theme for you, that would be cool. But yeah very good game lolz👍

Nearly perfect. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to continue after a fail. I play on extreme difficulty and hate seeing a very challenging layout go to waste because of one dumb mistake halfway through. I don't believe the time should count, but sometimes I just want to finish it and redeem myself. All of your apps are incredible, keep up the good work.
