Addictive but annoying I've been obsessed with this game and building my cities. However, there are some issues - when you accidentally click on an ad, the app goes back to the loading screen; There are challenges that are literally impossible e.g put up a 5 star house, when I have never been given one. You do have to purchase diamonds, and I purchased two lots but only received one. Like others said, it's just upgrade cards when you need new buildings. Loading very slow and overheats the phone

played the original PC version back in 2001/2. Pleased to find an app of the same game now. Hopefully the music will be as good as the original.

Whilst a good/ok game overall just a few issues. The controls are horrendous for a touch screen phone. It's really hard to place boosters or anything small in certain spots, plus trying to see all of the buildings in a plot is really difficult. There is no easy way to do it. Secondly, there is a lack of ability to build houses. All I seem to get from the past week of playing is upgrade tokens and businesses. Which is fine if I had hotel/houses to use the businesses on.

Gameplay is great at first as the graphics look good, idea seems fresh. But it slowly became a turnoff when you realised no matter how much you try, you cannot really get the building cards except for upgrading cards that are useless after sometime. Everything is just designed to be a clickbait for ads and perhaps spending real cash to get those cards.

I played this game in 2020 before the upgrades. When I log in with Google it reads my progress at level 16, but doesn't load my old stats. I had to start over. Starting over is fine but now I've gotten to level 4 & it's time to claim free rewards from the store, but I get an error that I cannot connect. I can't click on anything else on the screen. So unless I assess this free reward, I can't get past it to continue the game. Uninstalling again because this makes no sense. I'm just stuck.

Excellent game. Always nice to see an update, but the most recent update is bad on my eyes. Specifically the value on the cards are white with a black outline. The value needs to be colored to make it easier on the eyes.

I love this game! But there's an issue. There are many buildings in Atlantic city I could get but I keep getting duplicates instead. Please fix it.

I can't get to bid in the Auction House, to upgrade my property. I tap on the button for the Auction house to make a bid, and the screen just has the logo spinning and never goes onto the area to actually bid.

Bugs... I have numerous upgrades for each city map that are simply inaccessible. Duplicate cards just keep adding up making the game messy and unplayable, when is the fix coming? When are more missions coming? When is the prison coming? Is this game included with play games pass? Recent update changed some fonts but fixed none of the problems. What was the point?

Overall, it's a good game but not enough buildings to fill the areas, which means you end up with large unoccupied areas. There are also lots of glitches. I no longer receive copper capsules, and the game rolls back, which means progress and resources are lost

I'm giving this a two star review due in part to the game becoming sluggish. The game takes too long to load and when I can play, moving the board has been pretty difficult. Oh, and don't let me travel from one city to another; it's almost impossible. Basically the more interaction the worse it gets. It's gotten to the point where I may uninstall from my phone.

It's a cute game. If you're not a super competitive Monopoly player, which I am not, I suggest you take your time. Build and collect rent, accumulate properties slowly. Don't push through the goals as quickly as possible, spend more time collecting rent to build up bank account. Ads aren't too annoying. My only complaint is that the Water Works is constantly broken. It is an easy way to earn a little cash every time I repair it, so I guess it's not too bad a deal.

Very fun. Brings the monopoly board to a city builder and keeps things fun and entertaining! It might be a "freemium" model, but you can make a fair amount of progression through watching ads for boosts and just simply by completing missions. Doesn't force ads on you like most mobile games. Only gripe is that I can't set up an account to play the same game with saved progression across more than 1 device. Please add an account that I can sign in with. It'd make it perfect!

The graphics is nice which is why it gets a 2 star. It is almost impossible to gain new buildings. The only way to gain is by earning card packs which contains 3 cards which most of the time are upgrade cards for your existing buildings. There is an option to view an ad to get extra card packs but that doesn't work. So the only option is to spend money to buy the packs that are 99.99% useless. Almost impossible to progress!!

This game is mad lit!!! Perfect game. Love the different cities and levels. And that each city has it's own challenges... It's like a new game every city... Love it Edit: what's up with the missions in Atlantic City??? Stuck in level 38 with no new missions to help level up... Can't advance to London until I get to level 50!!! Seriously considering deleting... It's boring now

Edited to add: 3/22 Forced into the update and can't get it to fully load now. What a bummer,! This is an incredibly fun game that isn't a time eater. It's fun to check in and collect all the rent that's accumulated. The water works puzzles are a cute addition. It does crash when you opt to double your rewards at waterworks or the firehouse challenges and then you lose them all

I've quit playing, cause it either takes too long to load up the locations when I switch, or it just gets hung up at the loading screen of the new location. Whenever I kiss the game up, the buildings are always floating and as far as I know, that can only b fixed by changing locations. Also I don't see an inventory location to store my building so I can move them around when adding requested buildings. 90% cause the first thing I mentioned. Working with a 4g ram phone and spectrum basic plan

Leaving a 3 star for two reasons: 1) An incredibly simplistic game. It's the kind of game that's best played by just checking in every once in a while to collect your money. 2) The AI driven auction system is clearly rigged. After several tests, I've found that the AI will regularly let each other have a property for well under its value, but will outbid the player to make you pay well above the property value. Overall, fun game, but not outstanding in any way.

This is a pay to play game. I had the computer version in the 90s and this is barely reminiscent of the original monopoly tycoon. In the old version, I could just decide to buy what the citizens wanted but here u have to build what the game gives u so I have a lot of useless buildings and can't get the ones I need unless I pay for them with real money. Their greed ruined a very fun game.

Unfortunately this game is ridiculously slow to load...start load, change city loads...and to make it worse, the game constantly conflicts with ads, especially their own Monopoly Go ads. Every city visit usually has at least one game freeze-up, 3 cities = roughly 15 minutes total load time, per visit, so if you try to visit 3 or 4 times a day, it gets old fast. Would think a major company like M-B would have better.
