Morse Code
Morse code is a communication system that uses a series of short signals (also known as dots or dits) and long signals (also known as dashes or dahs) to transmit characters. The initial version of it was developed by Samuel F. B. Morse as a method to transmit natural language through the telegraph in the mid-19th century.

Morse Chat
Morse Chat is an app that allows users to communicate with others using Morse code. Once you sign in, you’ll see 3 big buttons which correspond to 3 main ways of chatting.
- Public Rooms. A number of rooms (10 WPM or less, 15 WPM, 20 WPM or more, Test room and so on) has been created to allow chatting with fellow Morse code enthusiasts. These rooms are open to everyone. Contact us if you have an idea for a new public room.
- Private Rooms. These can be created by premium users, and joined by any user (premium or not) who gets the room ID and password (case sensitive) or is invited by an existing room member.
- Direct Messages (DMs). These are private messages between two participants. Simply create a DM by searching the other user’s display name or call sign.

I would just Like to request an option for larger text in the menus, and also in the text in the Morse translations. I'm sure that implementing that, would make life easier for others and me, who enjoy this great app... Many thanks De 2E0NZ*...

Great app. Best way to learn. Free version is nice and totally usable, and paid version adds good features at a reasonable price. Check out their morse learning app 'MorseMania' too. I'm excited to try some other learning apps by this developer.

It's good, I just expected the premium version in Morse Code also covers this one. But what I really want is instead of opening it to Play Store, it should be able to open the app (if installed) instead. Same goes for the Morse Code app's chat button to redirect to this one as well, it should be easy. Thank you.

I like the app as a whole. Good concept. But most chats now overrun by spam. 90% of any chat is spam, just people sending gibberish or single letters to clog the traffic. I sent one message saying cool it with the spam, and two people then spammed DOZENS in seconds. By the time I blocked them, they'd sent so many that it totally cleared the whole chat from my screen. A cooldown timer of some sort or ability to select reasoning for reporting may help. I pay premium and don't appreciate spammers.

Awesome app. I got bored and procrastinated doing homework by learning morse code and then applying my skills here. Everything is nice however I can't help but think that the button gets "stuck" sometimes? Like when typing "L" it will register the .-. But not the final dot. Would be nice to know if this is a bug or a local issue. All in all really cool app.

app works fine, but I think some premium features should be free. rooms are a little empty, but what can you expect with a largely unpopular mode of communication in the digital era. solid app, and so is the sister app, morse mania (for learning morse)

A great app for practising morse code with friends - however, for a beginner, the number of features that are paid-only is irritating. You aren't able to see a textual representation of the morse code unless you pay, nor can you change simple things such as the theme.

Pretty cool. It would be a better learning tool if there was a way to pause playback while recieving. It'd also be nice if it would highlight the message you just playes back so it would be easy to listen to again.

Great app for practicing Morse code! Could use some features to make it easier, like slowing down the received message, or listening to it again from a certain spot. Right now I have to listen a bunch of times to figure it out.

Great app! It's a nice addon to the morsemania app to practice your Morse skills with other students. I recommend it a lot! I think it would be good to have a pause button, especially in the beginning when you're not able to translate messages on the fly.

This is a great app to practice CW. The only suggestion I have for the developer is to provide functionality for backspace. If you compose a message with let's say 15 characters and your last character is wrong, the only way to fix that is to delete the whole message. Otherwise this app is awesome!

Very helpful in putting phrases together and hearing "words" and how they sound. I'm able to start picking them out of sentences and just like reading, what I don't catch at first makes sense in context for me to learn that way too. ~ Ana

Great app. But for me after I have it installed a while for some reason the morse audio doesn't play for me when I click it, So I have to reinstall it to fix this problem constantly. Not sure what causes this or if I'm doing something wrong. But Other than that, it's a great way for beginners to get experience communicating in morse with others.

Amazing app. Very fun to use, and teaches you morse code very easily. The userbase is currently rather small (at least in the public rooms) but that's no issue. It's extremely useful for communication as well, since the app provides a small glossary of common phrases to speed up communication. Sometimes people write illegibly, but that's not the app's fault in my eyes. Overall very good app, and I encourage anyone who likes amateur radio, or is just generally interested to give it a try.

Great app, you can talk to other Morse learners and it has different levels. It also has different input and output methods. You can set it to vibrate, flashlight, and sound. You can also use your own finger to set the rythm or you can use a dot and dash button if you need it to keep even. The only downside I can think of is that on setting the output to vibration, you cannot stop a broadcasting message. You have to listen to the whole thing. This is a downside for beginners needing to pause.

Overall, I recommend this app, its nice and convenient to use. A good option for practice and just communication, but people there sometimes amaze. There are sometimes experienced and good people, but rarely you can found someone for a good and long conversation. Sometimes there are even people who write very unpleasant things. Please do something about it.

Strangely my previous review was deleted, but this is really good! Me and my friend have always wanted something like this so we could talk in morse code. This is the perfect tool to do that, and I'm very satisfied. Me and my friend tried many tactics to be able to communicate, like taps for dits and a quick 4 taps for das. Now, all we need are some ear phones, and we can talk secretly in class! I just wish there were an option to create a direct conversation live, so we could automaticallyhear

doesnt seem to work with my Bluetooth (TOZO-NC2) earbuds. with those, there is lag which is unavoidable, but also it seems to affectthe rhythmic accuracy. like if i make a really short dit, it should make some sound, but it doesn't. or if i dontleave enoguh space, the two tokens will fuse. and then itstartedcrashing everytime i tried to key a message. or just to open it. this problem is not there if im not using these earbuds. otherwise, really great app

The problem is that trying to disable auto-send in the settings doesn't work. When I click it, it doesn't uncheck it. It stays checked no matter what I do so I can't turn it off. This means that I have to write words very fast (which makes the message prone to errors) or it gets sent incomplete. Please fix this and make the disable auto-send button work. Thank you.

I think the app is amazing, and it's super rewarding. Just the thought of somebody putting that much effort into talking to you, and into understanding what you're saying. Though I like the feature where there's an eye that I can click to see if I'm understanding it right, (with premium, which is totally worth it,) it would be nice to be able to chick the eye again to be able to stop seeing the translation.
