Amending my previous review score from a 4 stars to a 5. I've been using this app now for the past few nights and it works perfectly for my needs. As stated previously, there are a few glitches here and there and the odd thing or two that needs tweaking. But the app is completely free and does what it says, and from what I can see the app is being regularly updated by the developer, who even adds requested features..... for free! How can anyone complain about that?! Thank you developer 🙏😁!!!

Shame it doesn't capture video continuously as long there's motion, it makes 10 seconds breaks, not like a true DVR. Ok as a concept app and first aid. Set sensitivity to max for best results. Cannot select SD card storage. Filenames date+time would be great, plus timestamp overlays.

Is not user friendly for getting wifi publishing started thru wifi and on other devices...Plus I had to pay twice and donate thinking it would auto link thru Google account on my other device, it did not serve me..In my opinion Alfred Home Security is more user friendly...1 star rating from me...no proper instructions for remote view on other device thru wifi, even though the app is plain with minimal features!Instead of stars I give it 👎👎👎👎✌️..

Very useful application. The only problem I have is it doesn't let to add a Polish phone number :-( It would be grate if the application could make calls via IP telephony or from one application to another via internet, sending photos at the same time.

can't record video like the old one did, 2 minute videos loads of them by motion

Very promising app! Unfortunately, both alarm and shutter sound don't turn off, even if disabled in the settings, therfore only 4 star at the moment. But a big thank you to the developer team, offering such useful app free of charge. Appreciate your work and effort!

This app does not allow me to zoom in the camera. Therefore, it fails to detect incoming objects that are far away rendering it largely useless, that is my only complaints about this app. It needs to have a camera zoom in feature. Five stars still because it's the only app on the market that I know of, of this kind of app. I want this to ring loud even if one pixel change is detected. I was testing this app and it didn't ring as I was walking past it on a trail, so how is it going to alert me?

Nice work thx! but I having some difficulties: Could it save in webp webm to use less storage? Could we choose destination folder including sdcard, so we could choose what app will sync it with clouds? Could it be less heavy on J7? may be using delayed writing of alert pictures from a queue (if not already), or it could quickly write raw image data and in a low priority thread convert to webp.

Update: Works well as motion detector, but it needs a way to delay the alarm activation while the phone is being set up so that the motion of setting the phone up doesn't set off the alarm. DOES NOT WORK RIGHT! The alarm stays on no matter what. The background camera option does not record videos at all.

I appreciate the response/update. However, I'm still giving it 2 stars because if you have it running in the foreground, it works, but it still doesn't work in background mode on a Pixel 2. The new version no longer triggers a "Failed to write temp file" error, but no photos get stored.

Nice layout, simple efficient design. Shame not much works. The alarm sound wont turn off even when it's not on in the settings. The picture will not save, again even when it's turned on to do so in the settings. The only image it saves is the small icon in the motion history section. Seems my search is still on for a working security App.

motion detector in background just stopped working. Also makes the shutter sound when taking a photo, even if you have the shutter setting off.

Outstanding app. I set this up to run overnight with the phone charging. So battery would not go flat and phone shutdown. The photos are named by date and time. If you use the apps gallery and then slideshow . you can see the name of each photo , the date and time, easily. Much faster than opening each photo to read details. If you only need to know when the motion occured the choose motion history, this gives list of times. Really easy.

4.5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ Great app. I'd give 5 stars but I'm missing an ability to be able to choose "save location". Also there seems to be a delay in capturing an image after motion detection. I was monitoring outside the house and by the time it takes a picture (fairly slow) moving object is gone.

Not perfect, but you can't find a better cam to detect motion without net connection. At least I haven't. If your cam is off grid or out of wifi reach, this is the app. Runs in the background too with screen OFF?! If all you need is images when motion sets off a trigger for it, this is your app. Moto E4 working. Don't punish the dev if you can't figure it out lol
