No real separation alert, it only alerts you if someone tracks you.... not as advertised. Very disappointed

you didn't say I needed to buy a device, nope I used to be able to print and you keep changing the app's!

Finding a tag that's within 20 feet of you is just weak. I'm using an up to date pixel 9 pro with uwb and firmware 2.0.104

Finally supports UWB and precision find but the range seems worse than Airtag, I had both while Air tag works in 15 feet, Moto tag only works for 5 feet.

I do like the app but different and louder ringtones for the tag need to be introduced. I find the tracker very quiet compared to the Chipolo I switched from. It's making me reconsider getting another one, even though I love the tracker itself. I will say I'm happy to have the double-tap to ring my phone feature. That ringtone is LOUD! I will definitely be upgrading to a phone with UWB capabilities in the new year to take full advantage of the tag's features.

I updated to the latest version of the app and firmware (104) and UWB support stopped working, even though it worked before. WTH Motorola?

Works well when connected, doesn't always connect quickly, even when the tag is located next to or on top of the phone.

it does not show a timeline in a map! how am I supposed to track my moving things like a car? bad implementation. It should save location over time and draw a timeline

Tag itself is fantastic. Software is broken. Find my tag work flawlessly with googles "Find My" network. But trying to find the phone with the Moto Tag app just does not work. disabled battery optimizations and following all steps provided does not help.

connected two tags over a month ago, then sometime recently they disconnected and are not even detected with this app. I tried using the double press button feature to show someone when I noticed they're not connected anymore (not a good impression for them to buy the tags, either) they're still however fully functional in Google's findhub.

Now that they have UWB support and fixed the battery reporting issues I can finally recommend these. I'm pretty annoyed that nearly 2 weeks into the UWB update I still had to side load the app because it wasn't rolled out to me. Only been waiting for this since last August. But, as far as the trackers go they do what they say they do. That, with the robust accessory market make them desirable.

1. The tags work, but after this recent app update and tag firmware update, all of my tag settings for all of my tags except 1 of them reset,(1 i haven't done yet, will do it tomorrow). The only thing that didn't reset was the tag names, which are controlled by the Find Hub. Fix this before the next update before you give people problems that don't realize their settings reset. And 1 isn't as loud as it was before the updates. 2. Why are the default volumes set to Default-Medium? Are you STUPID?

Unfortunately the firmware update doesn't seem to work, I've tried doing it now multiple times, rebooting both my phone and the tracker and reinstalling this app but every time it completely fails. Weirdly one of my trackers updated just fine? Considering this app is primarily here to do firmware updates it's a pretty bad experience.

UWB support has stopped work long with last app updated and latest software version & camera button features were supposed to launch months ago with a previous software update but it keeps on prompting me to allow background battery usage to unrestricted which I have and it still doesn't activate the feature. now one of them are saying they have low battery again despite changing batteries a couple of months ago. poor product do not buy, other tags from competitors with better battery life!

The "Find My Phone" feature is completely broken. It does not work when the phone's screen is locked, making it useless for its primary purpose. This is a software bug, not a user error. The issue is 100% reproducible on multiple new Pixel phones (9 & 10 Pro) with multiple new Moto Tags. My app battery usage is correctly set to "Unrestricted". This is a well-known bug, widely documented in Reddit threads by other users for months. A core feature should not be this unreliable. Please fix it.

Finally received the newer UWB update. It seems to work overall, but it sometimes takes a while for it to activate. The arrow will come up for me after moving around and getting around 5-15 feet from the tag. It's not perfect, but better than without UWB.

Why doesn't the arrow show up pointing me to the lost device. I have the latest update and firmware. I got it to work once and it hasn't worked since. it is frustrating. I'm on a Pixel 9 Pro XL with UWB turned in and the latest firmware installed. like I said it worked once and never again.

So a few things on this. The app isn't terrible. It's used to update the tags and can also use it for the basic find my device features. That being said, it would be nice not to have an extra app since these are supposed to function as Find My Device hardware. Also, having to wait for gated app rollouts to be able to update your tags with the latest features, just doesn't feel good. The UWB update has been touted, but you cannot get it unless you have the latest app version. Allow opt in.
