The official MSC for Me app works alongside other digital channels onboard to ensure you have the information you need at your fingertips. Plus, the app is free and even on board you will not need to purchase any internet package in order to use it.
The MSC for Me app is available on all the smart ships* in our fleet: MSC Bellissima, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Magnifica, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Seascape, MSC Seashore, MSC Seaside, MSC Seaview, MSC Splendida, MSC Virtuosa and MSC World Europa.

Great, for the most part, just runs slow on occasion. Could also use some more instructions as some of the features are left up to interpretation.

The app won't accept my passport information or selfie. And it also keeps telling me I can't put in my credit card info. I tried through the web browser and I managed to get a photo uploaded but it was incredibly finicky, still couldn't put in my card info there either.

Confusing, unhelpful, frustrating. You need to be connected to the internet to sign up for this app, but there is no internet on the cruise unless you pay a ton for it. The map is awful and unhelpful, just like the ones on the ship

This app has many shortcomings. 1) It showed all excursions were sold out the moment we booked and signed in on the app. Our agent though was able to find tickets msc so this app is of no use. 2) App check-in doesn't work. I filled out all the information the app shows green check marks on each section, but it doesn't let me see my boarding pass, it doesn't email my tickets and I got no check-in confirmation email either. 3) I don't see a way to make restaurant reservations. The app is useless

Okay app. Doesn't do much. For example: I can't add boarding passes to Google Wallet (it says to add a screenshot but the app doesn't allow screenshots), and can't join voyagers club because the system doesn't recognise the postcode and there's no availability to manually input the data.

Great to have everything at your fingertips. The personal agenda is great. Choose what you want to do.. and the app sends you reminders. We found the app very helpful and used it all the time.

App Needs a single home page for all of the cruise functions and events Also, linked account spending or charges needs to be flagged up to the parent... a charge was logged against my child and we only found out about it on disembarking, which took a while to sort out , which was frustrating as we needed to get to the airport The actual functions such as daily events, menus, and bookings work, if you can find them

The App is very good! Love that I have all the cruise info at my fingertips, I also like the notifications, its very informative. I don't like that the chat feature is locked out for kids under 16 (it might be 14?). I think the App / MSC should at least allow children to have access to the Chat feature when in the same family or room. My son is 11 and has a phone but there is no way to communicate with him while he is exploring the ship.

Too many errors. The app makes me re-login multiple times per day requiring me to use my cruise card each time. Many times when I try to login, it just comes up with an unknown error and tells me to try again. Also, the information provided on the app when it works, is really quite limited. MSC is a big company, I really feel they should be able to do much better.

When on board it works sometimes. When it works it is great. But most of the time it is a sad frustration. I have now taken three NSC cruises and for some reason MSC executive staff cannot make it more user friendly and usable. And to make matters worse you cannot check in and register your credit card on line or on this app. It all has to be done on board. This is not rocket science. This is a very important customer service issue that is totaly ignored.

Easy to use app! You can book reservations for restaurants, shows, see the cruise's daily activities and tons more! Highly recommended for a fun cruise adventure. no problems for me but I will mention that the app didn't activate (at least for me) until the day we boarded the ship & I did purchase the unlimited internet package, not sure it that makes a difference once you leave the port.

App is TERRIBLE! MSC seriously needs to fix this. You are supposed to be able to book excursions and spa services at a reduced price in the app. Every time I try look at the excursions, it glitches and doesn't load anything. Everytime I try book a spa treatment, it sends me in a loop when trying to check out and it is literally not possible to check out 😡 I hope this is not the level of service I'm install for on this cruise!

Login ID please!! Stop the nonsense having to use a booking number! Design your app to provide the same option as your website that uses either login ID or booking. WHO REMEMBERS BOOKING NUMBERS! I want to log in once and see all my cruises. It's not hard to do since all the other cruise lines do it. Until you make those changes, I can't go above a two and I'm being generous.

The app is more than useless. Not only do they force many unnecessary features onto the app (like TEXTING), but you also can't use the app at all without connecting to the ship's Wi-Fi even when there are (usually better) networks avalible. This means that if you want to use the internet while also using the app you would need to pay for the ship's $30 per day Wi-Fi package. MSC really tries to squeeze every last penny out of you during their cruises and this is just one example of this.

An error occurred, please try again happens way too often! Won't let me screenshot anything to save or share - this isn't a security issue. So I have to use another phone to snap a picture of the screen which is very annoying. Won't let me view charges because they are associated with another acct. Receive errors booking or cancelling shows while on board many times. System needs a lot of work! I can't order a drink pkg or excursion from app off ship even though it lets me view them.

FIX the app!!! OMG it's awful. I purchased my cruise tickets and the app is just awful ,it keeps giving errors and 20 times later I had to enter the information manually because the camera scanner is just broken.... S24(ULTRA) so it's not a cheap phone Now that I have the boarding pass,I can't even see any options to buy extra things like drink package,specialty dining and upgrades 😔 Never mind the constant errors I keep getting from one page in the app to the next page..it's a joke of app!

About to go on my first cruise & this app already has me frustrated. I've had to redownload the app SEVERAL times because it keeps giving an Error message and locks up. When it WAS working, I was able to book room additions, excursions, and drink packages...so that was very convenient. I still haven't been able to check in through the app though, so had to call to do that, but now the app still shows I'm not checked in. Very disappointed w/ not being able to prep beforehand due to glitches.

The complaint of glitches when trying to view/book excursions and other items seems to be overwhelmingly common. The scanning passport feature was broken entirely on my end. The cruiseline stands to make a lot more money if they'd fix the app to not bug out whenever someone tries to purchase something...so many attempts can definitely lead the passenger to say "forget it" and book something independently. Hope this helps.

Tried checking in via the mobile app and I genuinely couldn't do it. For whatever reason some genius thought low res automatic picture taking would help with the check-in process but there's one glaring problem... It doesn't work! Even after fulfilling all of the conditions it will tell you that the image isn't sharp enough. And if the automatic process fails at any point your check-in progress for one section, you'll have to start the whole section over again. Very inconvenient, very annoying.

Photo very diificuly to do (and yes, i am a trained professional photographer). After several failed attempts and at least 10 minutes of trying, I took off my shirt and immediately got the required photo... Apparently, bright colors covering the neck may cause issues. Also, you don't get to look at or approve the photo so there is no knowing of how poorly it will look like -they might make DMV photos look good... I hope the rest of the features in the app are not soooooo glitchy.
