There are too many glitches and it takes forever to open the app and to open scores and pretty much everything other than looking at the sheet music and listening to the sheet music is locked behind a pay wall and its a very expensive one at that when it's not on an 80% off sale and even then it's still not near worth it and on top of all that it still doesn't support musescore4 after it being out for well over a year and at this point I think they kinda just abandoned the app

Great app but dishonest free trial promotion. I subscribed for 7 days free trial. I tried it and loved the app. however, I checked my Google Play store subscription to find I am already charged for a year! I searched online to find others complaining about the same issue. This is false advertisement. i requested a refund from Google Play store the same day. I like the app and will most likely subscribe to it. I need my free trial first. either don't offer it or commit to what you offer.

I was scammed. It said 7-day free trial, and the money was trasected. The start day was 31 Dec, and the day I request cancelation was 3 Jan. I mailed them but the answer was "You used the app more than a day so we cannot cancel them". Then, what was the ad for 7-day trial? They keep resisting to refund. Awful. Don't even start the free trial, they will cost you the annual fee. Only canceled one was the annual renew option, however, after money for a year was transcted.

I can't even login with Google after the update. I have a pro membership which works on the Web. I tried to clear the cache and all app data, but it still insists on creating a new account even after supposedly logging in. Please fix ASAP. Update: thanks for your reply, this indeed allows me to login. However, it's so confusing that even I, a very experienced software engineer, couldn't figure it out myself. I'll update my rating once this bug is fixed (and yes, it's a serious UI bug).

Was a great app... in 2016. Now the only part that works reliably is their own ads, offering subscription services for up to $150/year (57% off!) Meanwhile, the app frequently stops working after loading one score, MuseScore 4 files remain unsupported after a year, & HQ audio needs a 159MB download to work every time I reopen the app (which, due to glitches, is every ~10 mins). Of course, don't just take it from me--read other reviews, & consider if such a buggy app is even worth the trouble.

Two steps forward. One step backward. Transposed sheet music no longer saves properly as a pdf file! Option to download pdfs online was disabled to the app only. Then inside the app, the option to download pdfs will NOT download the transposed version! Only the original key downloads in pdf format. (Edit: Review changed after speedy update. Whoa! You guys fixed that lightning fast! Thanks.)

Look, the app is great, but I find it truly irritating that can't purchase a single score. I understand purchasing a subscription would get your money worth, although, I just need one single score. I won't buy an entire subscription for an app I'm going use one to three times a year. I understand that this payment process makes profit and if the scores were sold the money would make sense to go to the creator of the score, but as it is, this payment process tedious and expensive.

Update: App has improved tremendously, but could still use some tweaking. "Terrible app. It crashes regularly with errors like "score not available in your country" (even though I played the piece the day before and it will work again later that day), "something went wrong", or the best one "you haven't used the app in 20 minutes" when I have been using it all day. Suddenly no scores will load."

Experience as a beginner is frustrating. I'm trying to learn using one of the courses offered on the app, but it auto plays whatever video is first in the course. It continues to play even if I minimize the app or change screen. So when I go into the course and immediately select whatever part of the course I am at, it will play the intro video audio in the background, and also play whatever video I'm currently watching, ruining the experience. There's no option to disable auto play feature.

After the update, it started glitching a lot, like the song can't even play sometimes. And also, there was a piano guide and it helped me so much, but now when I click on it, the piano won't even show! I want to learn the song but it unfortunately does not show at all. Musescore should also stop having problems with their music, they would say there are music on their website but when clicking the link there, it doesn't even show.

5/19/2023: this app has been very glitchy.. it will automatically close itself, back out of sheet music, and the volume will alter itself with no explanation.. if you're going to use musescore, I recommend sticking to the browser version. 3/14/2024: Finally!! Musescore 4 support!! The new score viewer is great, no complaints so far. My only issue has been subscription offers popping up when I already pay yearly. Otherwise, great improvement. 3/28/2024: Latest update broke Musescore 4 support

The app is overrall good and really handy. However, it can be pretty slow when loading often times. They also CONSTANTLY want you to buy their new subscription for their Pro+. I've been a Pro member for years (different from Pro+, that's newer), yet every single time I open the app, I am prompted to upgrade or do the free trial of their new service! Such annoying BS, just let me browse sheet music in peace.

HELP!!!! Was installing on my tablet and all of a sudden it tells me I have a 7 day free trial and then will be charged $64.99! Says go to subscriptions on Play Store and cancel anytime. I go there and it doesn't show😡 I'm disabled and on a very fixed income can't afford it even if I wanted it which now I definitely don't. I can't cancel the subscription and I can't afford to pay for it. Deceptive business practice IMO.

This app is a total rip off. Do not buy. I was looking for one particular song. They had a deal for pro so I purchased that. $29+ turns out you need to pay another $40 to access the app version which has the song. Muse is super unintuitive to use. And when I searched for the song, it kept telling me it didn't exist in their library. Even though when you search in a browser it shows up in the search as being part of muse. Don't bother. Rip off.

It seems nearly useless. I subscribed to have access to download sheet music and midis. In android apparently, it does not give you the option to download, only share. So I try to share to my drive. Only it doesn't upload it. I attempt to force it to have permissions, and this only causes the app to freeze. I wasted good money on a useless subscription.

While it's great that you have access to so many scores with no ads, the app barely works. It's super slow and will have errors making it unusable for hours. 80% of the time it won't even register what you type into the search bar, even if the score exists on the app. Searching doesn't show by relevance. Its super irritating to find new music. The interface is not user friendly. Many scores aren't available in my country. Only reason I'm using it is because there's no better alternative.

Wanted to learn to play some of my favorite songs but couldn't access the official versions without upgrading to Pro. I did that and then tried to access the official versions again only to be told that I needed to upgrade to Pro+. Complete ripoff. Unless you're willing to shell out roughly $70 bucks for total access, don't bother downloading this app

I used to use this app all the time, it was so useful for getting sheet music for free, even without any of the subscriptions. But when I tried to get the app on my new phone, it made me make a new account when I logged in with Google. I didn't think this was a problem, but when I was about to finish, it prompted me to buy a subscription and did not let me exit the menu at all unless I got it. Very shady, along with all the other negative reviews about not being able to cancel their "free" trial

I wouldn't use this app, I thought I was signing up for a 7 day free trial, and they charged me $59.99 immediately. I canceled the subscription and contacted customer service for a refund with in 5 minutes of noticing the misunderstanding. They're currently fighting me on it. The best offer was to refund 25% of the $59.99. Buyer beware unethical business. I looked at one piece of sheet music, and it was incomplete.

Overcomplicated, too many problems: the partition I looked at had incorrect info, I was pushed to create an account to download then, take the mobile app, then install the desktop version .. but nothing solved my problem (printing transposed partition). In short, this app is trying to do too many things but does nothing right. Been struggling for hours and canceling my subscription right away.
