The app does everything in its power to keep your music. If you email it or Bluetooth it to yourself the file is unsupported, you can't share it to supported apps, you can't screen record, it literally mutes the audio. I should be able to easily download what I created. It all seems fine and good unless you're planning on actually creating something and taking it off of this app. Not to mention the extreme limitations if you're not shelling out cash.

I love the app and have spent way more time and money on it than I ever expected. My only complaint is that besides the decent selection of free samples, there doesn't seem to be any way of earning credits to purchase new samples. Paying money is the only option I found besides what you earn for playing the tutorial. Also, the app crashes randomly and you will loose any unsaved progress so I'd recommend saving often.

I wish that I could get a refund for all the time and money I put into this app. Don't get me wrong, it's handy for basic beats, but nothing compares to simply investing in a version of Fruity Loops or etc. This app can easily lure you into buying sound packs because there will always be "something" missing from that groovy tune you've created. If you're new to music making, then this app is perfect. But if you're really serious about it, invest in yourself with something more worth while.✌️

Please fix the filter editing. Whenever I want to add a filter at the beginning of the beat, it autoplays and won't let me start the filter effect from the start. It's frustrating. That and some sounds don't actually stop when they are turned off in the next section.. it bleeds over, and makes a brief, unpleasanty ubrupt sound. It's especially noticeable when I am slowing things down in songs and it just throws off the whole rhythm and attention.

After a long and painful wait for updates to happen so the UI would allow me to reset my password instead of just crashing when I tried. I'm finally able to access my account. It should have been a simple process, but it took nearly a year for updates to make this app usable again. Anyway. It's working fine and I'm making tracks again. All's well now I guess. 5 stars again. Though my rating had dropped to 1 for a while. Guess that's just a good redemption story on MMJ's part. 👍

The app is overall really good. However, I have one small complaint. Sometimes, whenever I make a recording, that recording replaces another existing one. And when I delete the recording, the replaced recording also gets deleted. I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but I hope you will hear me out and fix this dilemma. Thank you for your time.

It doesn't really work. It used to be a cool music app when it worked, now it wouldn't let me log in for the longest of time. I have a new phone now and it finally let me log in, but when I started making music the plays the music but the image is like frozen. then later after I get a good beat going it goes all white and lost all my progress. I also had to uninstall it to see if it worked but it didn't. sometimes the app doesn't even load and won't show the loading numbers.

This app is great. I've created several mixes and have spent quite a bit on style packs. I am having a slight issue though. On my Galaxy Note8, after about 30 minutes to an hour of continuous editing the app tends to crash and I lose any unsaved progress. That being said, saving often helps. But I've lost a few potentially good mixes due to this bug. I only have an issue with prolonged use.

A good way to get started in the field of musis if your just looking to play around, but the app has issues. For one, it's too slow. I updated my phone and the app and it still takes a while to load me in or upload my music. SECOND, I won't even let me save MY MUSIC, that I worked hard on making, to my phone. I try to save a track that I already uploaded to Google drive, but it save a document of numbers instead! NO AUDIO! I'm done with this app. I've grown out of it.

Music Maker JAM is a great app to express your feeling through music and enables young creators to become artists, but I have suggestions that would improve the quality of the app (sorted by priorities): 1.) When you pick an instrument you can create your own pattern; Instead of having just 1 & 2 you can pick different notes instead of the same pattern each time, whenever I can't do this it bums me out because I can't get the tune I want. 2.) When you change the notes you can pick the instrument

Update 2022: I still use this app weekly and have made countless albums of music off of this app! I can say hands down its one of the best music creation apps I've ever used!! Absolutely love the variety of music packs on there and the amount of customization you can do! The community feature is really cool too! My only con I have is that I wish the android version could port all of the packs you own to the Windows version, so you don't have to buy on separate platforms for packs and can use both programs with the many amounts of choices. 2016: I posted a previous review about a negative crashing error a week ago. That review was not accurate. I have been using this software for about 4 months now. And I really like it on Android but LOVE it on Windows. I have made probably about 3 albums worth of music from this software and there are so many expansion packs to choose from. I will continue to keep using this software for as long as Android and windows are a thing!

The new update is terrible. I've lost functionality in the mixing interface and literally can't even make a song that's not just the loops in their default state. I can change key, if I either do it JUST IN TIME with the song or if I'm able to tap the super tiny letter for the note. The reason I used this app over others before is because of the user friendly setup. Now, I'm strongly considering uninstalling the app because I'm so upset and disappointed that I can't make music anymore.

This app is VERY easy to use! It's hard to find a good music maker for mobile devices. Someone can be bad at making music and still sound good. I do have one problem with this app though. It sometimes gets corrupted by clearing the cache, and one time, a fatal error occoured. It couldn't load the engine. No worries, a quick reinstall will do the trick!

So, it's about... I don't know how long now, but I've pretty much gotten back up and running with the app going on to create so many tracks with the rock and metal packs. But there's one problem I've noticed that's gotten quite frequently, and that's the packs when I'm using them in a song sometimes corrupt and, although it can be fixed rather easily by simply reactivating it, it forces me to save my project, reactivate the pack, then go back in to continue JAMming. Can you fix this glitch?

I absolutely love the app - how it lets you create music easily, with many harmonies and melodies and tracks to choose from. I love how you can record your own music and add it in to your songs, and how you can adjust each part's volume and everything! The one and only problem I have is that the songs I've already made and saved to my account aren't able to be automatically transferred when I switch devices. I had to redo my favorite songs all the way just to transfer them between devices. I don't tend to upload a lot of my songs, but I would REALLY appreciate it if my songs could automatically transfer between devices when linked to my account. I feel that I've lost a lot of my good projects because of this. Please fix and I'll give this app the 5 stars it really deserves!

The only stale thing about it since it's release for download, is they cater to hiphop & dance music.... if you favor Røck or Alternative, you're pretty much screwed. The amount of traditional Rock & Alternative sound packs are very few, if they had more from those genres to choose from...... This would be the absolute Superior music creating app.

I love the Hands-On tutorial how it teaches you and lets you create a song at the same time. So many of the other apps that I downloaded I'm still trying to figure out. Which probably means I will be deleting them. This one has so many features but is not oversaturated. It has a good variety of instruments. Many of the other apps only have electronic sounding instruments. With this app, you can make any different drummer of music you want to. I like the voice recording feature as well

Theres some minor bugs like the screen will freak out and go black while scrolling through my sound packs. Also sometimes, the fx automations stop working. This sometimes happens while uploading too. But overall, good app. Wish i could stack additional fx on an instrument like volume panning and beatbox or reverb and delay for example. Also think having a premium option to change the chords of individual instruments or adding more complicated chords like b minor diminished for example too.

I'm am old user and would like to see a download button for each song made because when the app first released it didn't download the finished songs after record then next update came and they added that feature. Would be nice to just have a download button. And a music player would also be nice because for some reason now when my phone is in screen off mode/standby I cant listen to my songs anymore. Please add a download button into the app.

The app is really good, from what I have experienced. I have had the app for about two months now with almost no trouble at all, except for the occasional glitch and all that. The main glitch that I am having trouble with is that when I try to record anything, sometimes the audio gets duplicated into random numbers. For example, I make a audio called "audio 1" but comes out as "record 14", etc. Please see if you can fix that, Music Maker JAM.
