If you lack a decent music player, then this is definitely an excellent free one you can use. The Ads are unobtrusive, and there are no pop-ups so even without paying it's smooth and easy to use. The amount of features are more than worth the price of a very small banner ad slightly covering your browsing. Play speed and pitch shifting, recording feature, ability to cut and edit your files, and all sorts of ways to organize your music. Nothing cutting edge but a great app all around.

This is the best music player out there. So far, I haven't seen many ad's, the mp3 cutter and equalizer work great. Searching for a specific song works very smoothly. Most of all, I love how it shows the album covers instead of having to download and apply them in the app. I can have access to each and EVERY song that downloaded. Most only show a handful of songs. There was nothing wrong with my experience with this music player. I would rate much higher than just 5 stars if I could. Great job.

Have been using the application for a couple of of years and the latest update eliminated the playlist option from the upper menu selection area. Now it's buried in the setup menus. That's pretty lazy programming. Secondly, when I dismiss the application, I expect it to stop playing. Now I have to go to the Android application setup and force stop it. How about a setup option to allow users to select if the application is closed, that the music actually stops playing?

Good... when it works. Ads aren't obnoxiously placed everywhere and this app is completely free, so one can only complain too much. That being said though, the organization functions are a bit buggy at times, and sorting music can be a CHORE. For someone who needs all their stuff organized by album to be at peace, it's a lot of effort, and sometimes, a lot of frustration, too. But for what it is, this app is excellent otherwise. If you don't care about organization much then this may be perfect.

decent player, even plays video files, which was unexpected, but welcome. the layout and maneuvering of the various files and folders is very confusing at first. with no guide, one must just stumble thru, and hope for best. quality of sound is highlight of this player tho, it has no faint sound problems that I have experienced with others. simplify the layout, or create a guide, and rating up.

The app's great, good equalizer , very user friendly interface, and a lot of options. But, I have a complaint, and it is about the equalizer. It just, disappears. I'll completely(sometimes not completely) close the app then come back and the equalizer has disappeared. The only thing that remains are the base and virtulizer knobs. It's only recently started happening, so hopefully this won't keep happening and is only happening to me.

I love this music player app. Paid for the ad free version because I love it more than all the others I've tried. However, for past several months, it keeps shutting off after I start a song. Usually, if I can get it to keep working past one song, it'll stay on, but it might turn off a couple times. Sometimes it's after the screen shuts off, sometimes not. I've checked every phone permission to make sure it can run in the background, isn't "optimised" to save battery, etc., but nothing seems.

Great app. Just a quick recommendation to the programmers: I usually make a playlist and set it to continue playing on random, repeating all tracks, but lately after each song, it stops, and then I have to manually go into the playlist and select a song or click next. If you guys could fix this, and add it as a new update, I would be very grateful personally! Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but it's super annoying! Thanks ya'll!

Good app for its intended use. Nice design overall too, nothing confusing. Only problem is, I can't move any new downloaded songs into any other album. It's permanently stuck in the downloads one. I've tried everything at this point, from updating the app to restarting my phone. It just says 'loading' for a second before disappearing. It doesn't move whatsoever and it's getting really annoying.

Great app. Music quality and sorting has been easy. Only recently has it given me issues. Won't let me edit wma file tags and art anymore. I can only assume this change was made as of a recent update because this was not always the case. Beyond that mild nuisance, spot on. Oh also, please stop adding half a second ringtones that I cannot remove. Thank you.

This is a solid, solid five! For two reasons. 1. Full support for Google's audio casting, includingan icon that's active while playing that lets you change the group volumes as well as the individual speaker volumes. 2. There's a volume leveler (automatic gain control) that can be used to keep the volume more consistent as random tracks from random recordings are played. Things that would be nice to have a. Ability to sort a playlist so that songs with the same title but from different singers could be placed next to one another - so comparison and elimination would be easier (just finished putting numerous Christmas albums into a playlist) But points 1 and 2 are not nearly as common among the existing players as they ought to be. So this is a winner.. b. Ability to remove currently playing song from playlist without having to scroll through list to find it.

Nice!!! My only complaint is that I can't go back to the beginning of a song and re-start it using my Pebble Time Steel smartwatch. Other than that, this app is fantastic! They've changed it!!! You now CAN go back to the beginning of a song and re-start it! This is a great feature if you're listening to music while riding a bike or rollerblading and don't want to pull out your phone. Works for the Fitbit Versa 2 also.

Oct, '16: Very polished media player on par with default phone media apps, but with some extra nice features. Smart search, which is so useful for finding a track based on a partial title or artist name. Also, when building playlists, there is no 1000 track cap, and duplicate tracks are not added twice. Thank you, developer. Update, Apr, '19: Backwards progress. Search function has been switched to sequential characters, eliminating partial matches. No control support for Pebble smartwatch.

After Google Play Music got executed, I was caught off guard and had to very quickly find a new app that would perform the same way. Luckily, this music player looks, acts, and feels just like gpm! The ads in this app don't play audio over your music, rather they're just small banners at the bottom of your screen. Plays downloaded music like a dream, even allowing an in-app audio editor at no expense to the user!

I use this on my Samsung phone to play my own library. Nixed by google play, and left with nothing to continuously play my own music. Tried another (one of the top 10 recommended players), it was okay, but decided to look for something more satisfying and simpler to use. This is very user friendly. And as another reviewer stated, looks exactly like google play which dumped me. Honestly, no effort whatsoever to install. Also, has some additional features that if google play had them, they weren't easy to find, and I didn't find them if they were there. One very important one is simply to have an album repeat itself. I use this on my motorcycle a lot, and don't want to be fumbling, looking on my phone to get the player going again if an album comes to the last song and then ends. Basically I am back in the saddle again. Happy camper!!! Go Music Player!!!

Love this app for music, simple, great styling, and easy to navigate. I do have a issue with the shake feature which is totally BADASS by the way to control your music. There's no way toggle it to work if your phone locked, unlocked, or tap the screen to light up. Tried setting the shake level on its highest but it still muffs up sometimes. Would love to see a update with that feature, I think im not the only one who thinks this either. Still the best music player I've downloaded HANDS DOWN!

It plays music so 2 stars for that but every now and then for no apparent reason, songs will be removed from playlists and (because all of my music is saved to my SD card under the same folder "music") the album titles will change back to the title "music" by default no matter how many times I change it manually to the proper album/artist name. Album cover art will change with it to a default picture (again) no matter how many times I change it manually. It just keeps resetting itself randomly.

4 gripes: After you shuffle, it doesn't show you the new order. The timer doesn't work. It shuts off all the time for no reason. It's hard to build a queue because the button is tiny. Then you accidentally misclick the huge regular play option, causing the whole album or folder to add to queue, so you have to start all over again.

The app has a clean simple interface but what kills the app and has me trying out other free and paid music apps is the absolutely terrible implementation of "shuffle" this app uses. When shuffle is "on" I want my playlists shuffled once and then be able to change songs by pressing forward and back. This app instead just has the buttons select a random song which leads to repeats and completely skipped over songs. It's too tedious to go through and make this app work "as intended" every launch.

This is almost a great app. It's almost, because it's buggy. If I play just one song from my library, or a playlist, the app will randomly find something else to play after that. It even grabs random songs DURING the playlist, from other folders. My library includes many different genera of music and I want to listen to what I'm in the mood for, not just whatever the app randomly grabs. It can be inappropriate for the situation, like loud music when I'm going to sleep. Fix that, and it's 5-star.
