Love this app. I needed something that would play wma files from the music folder on my device after YouTube Music no longer supported them. I installed this app and it started up with all my current playlists already recognized and works great! Has no big lag times like YouTube Music has when I just want to listen device music. But one small request: when I add art for an album, it should by default display it for all songs on that album. Shouldn't have to add it for each song.

I love this app so much! I can easily play my downloaded music without any problems. I also like how there's no ads, so I can listen ad free. the set up of the home screen is easy to navigate, and you can even choose your own photo for the background. I downloaded this app a few days ago, and I love it so much already. totally recommend!!

Being a dissatisfied Samsung Music Player app user because it wouldn't play all my personal music files, I gave this app a try and BAM! This app plays all my music. I love it! So much so that I purchased the one-time payment. I am still fairly new to it, so I don't have much experience to give an in-depth review, but so far, I have zero complaints and/or insights to make it better (if that's at all possible). Thank you for this awesome music player app!

Amazing app! The bug from my last review has been fixed so I have no complaints! Although I do have a suggestion for shuffle play! Maybe an option to like opt out some Somes of shuffle play? For example. In my Minecraft play list. There's a few songs that I'd rather not listen to at the moment but I still wanna use shuffle play to randomly hear the rest! So maybe a button like "Don't include in shuffle?" Thanks for hearing my suggestion! I love your app!

I've loved this app for a long while now. However, now the banner ads at the bottom stay when the home button bar disappears when bringing up the song bar which causes me to constantly accidentally click on the bar thinking that the home button is still there. I was quite literally about to buy premium until this started happening. I only support apps that don't hope you accidentally click on ads. Annoying. I'll buy premium if this changes but other than that it's a great app. Still love it

After switching from Samsung Galaxy phones to Pixel devices for the last few years I found that I missed the built in Samsung music player and began my search for a replacement. I found this app to have all of the same functionality but with a better UI. it is definitely worth it to spend the money to remove the ads and support the developers.

App forgets progress in tracks and starts at the beginning, crashes when paused for a long while (several hours or more) After some crashes or long pauses, the app totally forgets not only where you are in the track, but the track, and the current playlist. Causing me to have to select the playlist again and go track by track to try and figure out where I was. Lastly, why does previous track button go back to the previous track, before the beginning of the current track first?

This Works! Experienced difficulty playing my downloaded music on my new phone. Received the continuous error message "failed to play music." Finally discovered the Music Player & MP3. It Works great! Once again, I can play my music anywhere and anytime.

I have many complaints now. It used to be great. Now... Ads every time I try to open something, the volume is horrible I can barely hear anything anymore, there's supposed to be a pause between tracks but it stops songs too soon to start the next and sometimes it decides to shuffle my music with shuffle off forcing me to close and reopen the app to get it to work normally.

It's great app, but for some reason the audio will lower without me touching it so say if my volume was at 100 out of nowhere it will start to sound like it's at 50 and I can't turn it up because I'm already at 100 and the only was to solve it is to force stop the app. It's very annoying when your doing something while listening to music and it happens 1-2 times a day. Update 4/26/2024 The issue was fixed so I fixed my rating.

I've had this app for half a year now & still love it! I just went premium & am hoping for some of these features in the future: 1. Have an option to hide sorting categories I don't use often (artist, genre, etc), 2. Ability to change the grid of albums shown (so I can have 4 or 6 albums on a row instead of being stuck with 2). 3. Ability to select whole albums/artists to play when searching. 4. Having a way to cast to a tv. Overall a great app, haven't had any bugs since I got it in 9/23.

I needed an app that could play my local files. YouTube (Free Version) took way too long, just to load my files. Then it has a ton of adds, and will interrupt the playing of a file for an add. Also, you can't do anything else or it stops playing. Music Player (Free Version) is quick to load. Only gives a very quick add at the beginning, then will play a complete playlist without further interruptions. You can even switch to other apps and continues to play! This app is awesome!

incomprehensible. trying to play chapters of an audio book, each an mp3. list of chapters displayed by app are in numerical order but can't get player to go to next cleanly, and it not in shuffle mode. can't get app to play all files in folder because it needs a play list. making a play list of 77 chapters is painful. On the plus side, it makes sound. Can't find any documentation.

This is a really nice app. Attractive, nice equalizer, works well, adds my downloads automatically, and has a reasonable one-time cost for ad free. The only thing I'd like to see added is the ability to fast-forward at 10 or 30 second intervals. This would be a very helpful feature. I hope you'll consider adding it for your next update or possibly as a feature for paid users. UPDATE: Thanks for adding the 10 second fast forward / back option and slider!

Edit: The "Change Album Cover" feature has stopped working. I get the "Edit Succesful" pop-up, but I have to go into the app settings and clear the cache before I can see the changes. Please fix this! This music app wasn't the first one I installed on my phone; I tried two others that I just didn't like enough to keep using. The third time was definitely the charm because as soon as I opened this app, I knew it was "the one." It's so user-friendly that I went to the ad-free version soon after.

So far so good! Wish the app's equalizer had more bands of frequency, 10-12 would be great instead of five. And, since there is no uniform standard set to determine final mix levels, radio stations use compressor-limiters to create consistent levels when broadcasting. Building that into this app would be fantastic! It would make you the best music player app on the planet. I use them all the time in my recording studio. Music Player Apps always have inconsistent levels. Just a suggestion.

7-30-23 So far it's working way better than Samsung Music Player! It does have some ads but they're not too bad..UPDATE 6-1-24 Just installed on my old phone I use ALOT for play music streaming podcasts and listening to XM Radio app. The odds are still pretty annoying. I'm considering getting the ad-free version for the phone I use to connect my cars. Ads are most annoying when you're trying to drive and switch tracks it plays a big long dumb ad. Absolutely crushes Samsung Music player!!
