I don't usually rate and write,but when I do,because it's really good,or really bad.This time,Really Good. I found the background music -not even a song with lyrics, just background music, that i've been looking for in years, on a korean variety show that I loved so much, recorded from the show that filled with editing sounds, noise, laughter and all, but still able to recognize the bgm. Years i tried to find it, other apps failed, finally found it using this app, so Thank You. Awesome!

So far it's Great - you can watch 1 video to unlock colours & it seems to be quite accurate. It doesn't have Playing Now on Google certainty percentages but it can Record something it can't recognise & share in many ways. You might be best to leave the colours alone - only the Discovered one seems to work if you change them all. Yes there are ads But they are easy to click off (unlike some that hide the [X]

No way! Wow I checked both soundhound and Shazam and they could not figure out this song for me. It has been driving me crazy to look for the name. But this app got it within seconds. The trick is, the song is not mainstream and has no lyrics. This app is by far the best the others only focus on mainstream music. PS: the song name Stir by krackatoa.

None of these apps ever seem to work correctly. When I actually do need a song to be identified that I've never heard before and really like, it fails. Tried multiple times during the song and failed every time, so uninstalled. It failed at its only function. May reinstall in the future when the song database is larger and will update my rating if it works.

Love this app. I like how it connects quickly to find the song. I almost always find the song I'm looking for. I also like how you can play the song on another platform right from the app. It also saves all the songs that have been searched, which is nice to go back and look at if I wasn't able to listen or add it to my play list right away.

Very impressed with how smoothly it works. Simple and straight to the point. I've tried other's over the years and this is the best so far. I love it when an app does exactly what it's suppose to do and does it well without all the ads and junk added. If an app has less than 4 Stars I won't even look at it or put it on my phone. OnePlus 7 Pro. 12/256gb. Maybe that's why my phone performs like 5 stars. They have to earn it with quality to be on my phone. This one's a winner. 👍👍👍👍👍

It looks nice but I was really disappointed when I found that you had to stay in the app for it to listen to the music. It made it especially difficult because It was impossible to find the music playing when it was in another app and I cant go to it because Music Recognition turns off. I hope that this was a clear explanation and maybe fix it so other apps can play over this one so it can detect the song in the notification bar like Shazam? Thanks anyways

This app has been great for YEARS, even finding some video game songs! However, recently, the Listen On YouTube option sometimes takes me to an entirely unrelated video. It's so weird. Just a bit ago, it correctly picked up "The Only Thing I Know For Real (Maniac Agenda Mix)" from Metal Gear Rising, yet the YT link took me to "Olivia (Original Mix)" by Microtrauma. DEFINITELY not the same songs! LOL! I can't find a way to report bugs in the app, but hopefully this won't keep happening, oops!

The app (v1.6.2) worked quite well until this week. Now, it's completely useless, as if it suddenly went deaf. When it doesn't give up and claims to have identified a song title and artist, it's laughably far off the mark. Restarting my phone didn't help, nor did clearing the app's cache and data. So, although I tend to despise Apple, I reluctantly installed Shazam. Now, I've regained the ability to identify a track by name and artist in seconds.

Absolute potential... when I was trying to search for song's anything that Spotify will pick up it seems link in very well with Spotify. UI could definitely need some work... as well as possible adding more options for the user. Finally, Please make a payed version. After every single search is an AD? I understand you want to be paid but that's a little much. I'll check back again after some updates.

Great for finding random songs that you hear in different places. I've been in grocery stores and used it to find the sing playing on the speaker, I have used it for the radio since they like to play songs and never say the name, I've used it at home for TV shows, on twitch streams, you can pretty much use this anytime you need to figure out what a song is. While it might not find EVERYTHING, it will find 90% of stuff, from my experience.

This app is jaw-droppingly fantastic the ability to find almost any song that you can think of in the blink of an eye and have the app tell you the name of the band, song, album, have it display the album artwork AND give you the option to immediately listen to the song on Spotify YouTube ect. Is amazing, I love this app and use it anytime I hear a song I like or song I don't know the name of I can't recommend it enough!!!

It seems to work quite well. I'm very satisfied that I can figure out which song is playing on the radio without having to memorize some lyrics to look up later. I have identified around 30 songs, and there were maybe 5 the app didn't know, but because it can save audio snippets, you can listen later to get identifying lyrics and then look it up yourself.

Always found the song. It just needs to hear the clip of music in question and it will find it. Even if there are no words it can still find it. Absolutely amazing. Helped me find a song I've been looking for, for like 4 years. The only reason why this app has 4.6 stars is because the music in question has to be on Spotify. If the music isn't on Spotify then it won't be able to pick it up. The app also will not find a song if you sing it. Be mindful of that before judging the app. 😁

Perfect! It finds songs quickly, keeps a history of songs you've searched for, had options for listening to the songs you've found. That's all I wanted, and it does it really well! To those who complain because you can't listen and search for a song while you're playing it in a different app on your phone, I believe that's a limitation of your phone's system, not of the app itself.

When it works, this app is great. More often than not I see "no audio" and "microphone could be blocked" which makes app useless. I've tried tweaking media volume setting, it helps every once in a while. I've delayed Beatfind's search while picking the position in a song where it seems good place to start sampling. If I feel I've time to kill, I'll try that. Mostly it doesn't help, but it worked in couple of instances. I would not be surprised that I've missed a phone setting.

As long as you catch the song before the next one starts, you are good. I tried to find the current song but it had JUST transitioned to Motley Crue Kick Start My Heart. It found MC, and I was thinking that is totally not it, but it was ahead of my lousy brain. Seriously, it had three chords at the most! I hadn't even realized the song had changed. Had to uninstall, it couldn't find my browser? Firefox Focus.
