Pretty incredible for a freemium music player. Has everything you want and the kitchen sink. There are some little things, though, like some tags not saving (e.g premium ReplayGain scan tags don't save to actual file :( ) and the UI being pretty brutalist at first, but it's great once you get used to it. If the developers added theming support so users can make the interface whatever they desire, this could easily make Poweramp sweat.

I have had this app on my various cell phones for several years, and have been very satisfied with its many features. Currently have over 6000 songs on it, all arranged in my compiled playlists and queues, which I can play in any sequence I desire. I have tried other players in the past but none came close to this one in providing me with the features I wanted. Also, must mention their superior support system. Got a response within minutes after emailing them, with a solution to my query.

Best music player for Android. Everything I could ask from a free mp3 player and more; no ads, file tags and icon editing, equalizer, speed/pitch adjust, queue and playlist organizer, and they just added an audio cutter. I rotate my 10,000+ album collection through my phone to organize it with this app. I've been using this for years, and it doesn't seem fair it's free, so I just bought the full version. It's just that good.

The best music player app for phones and to top it off, it's free with no ads. Not really worth mentioning all it does as the store page is accurate. I will say it does seem to run smoother and be less resource intensive than most other apps and it also updates quite fast when I add new music. The queues feature I've also not seen on other music players and it's very easy if you want to jump between different playlists and have it save the spot

Pretty much the best music player I've ever used on mobile. Only one small issue though: I tried using the audio cutter to edit out a portion of a song, and I think it corrupted it. The song still plays, but it just shows 0:00 for the length, and I can no longer rewind or seek. Attempting to use the audio cutter on that same song again causes the app to crash. Might be because I replaced the original song with the edited version, but still, this isn't normal. Other than that, though, great app.

This app is not meant for people with sizable music libraries. The initial scan works but every time it scans for new music the app crashes. This means that every time I want to add new music I have to reinstall the app and lose all queues, playlists, and listening data. I've contacted support about this months ago to no response. This sucks but it's fine, just have to reinstall once a month or so, however on the latest install it crashes every time I open the app. (Still an issue as of 5/25/24)

I was looking for an app that works with Android Auto on MyLink for Chevrolets. After trying multiple apps, I found this one that connected up easily and works over bluetooth and wired connection with MyLink. I was able to access all of my albums and use queues and playlists easily. The only problem I have experienced multiple times is that I will add albums to the currently playing queue and they will be in the queue but then disappear from the queue and I will then have to add more albums.

Everything about Musicolet = ACES. It's exactly what I've been looking for; lots of useful features without clutter, poor design decisions, or pesky commercials.. I've tried many offline music players and none come close on so many levels.. I've upgraded to the premium version, which incorporates a few more useful features.. this is a keeper.. thanks Musicolet for all your hard work and diligence in designing and maintaining an app that fills a much needed niche.. Bravo!

I've used this app for YEARS. It's been the best music app for android I've ever had. Whatever the creator did that forces it to connect to the Play Store has made it completely useless for me. I'm on the latest version, but my mobile data is turned off more often than not. If this gets fixed, I'll consider adding it back, but for now it's deleted. That is, If I don't find a better app in the mean time.

Excellent app for my requirements. Musicolet instantly & conveniently accesses my phone's music folder & its files. The music players that came with my Android phone have non-desired service offers & (one well known app) re-caches my full music library every time I open their app. Musicolet has many useful settings. Thank you Musicolet developers.

This is absolutely the best app I could imagine for my downloaded music. It has every sorting option I can think of and is incredibe for managing my playlists. It even lets you export and import all of the app info of you're changing phones. And all of this comes with no ads or subscriptions. Incredible job to the Creator(s).

I'd love to give the app 5 stars, because of everything it does, and how perfectly it does everything a music player should. My problem is that I live in a 30 mile radius dead zone pretty much, and have a pretty limited wifi range, and when I go out of range, the app won't let me play the music I have downloaded without being connected to WiFi

Great sounding, full-featured music player with intuitive interface. It does NOT need nor request internet access to play your personal files. You can now synch lyrics (if you choose to add them). Developers are great when you have a suggestion or question too! I recommend it & would give it infinite stars.

Okay so I will say it has nice customization options. Such as the ability to change the tittle of a song from how it downloaded to my phones files. And i can change the photo they are also east to navigate However i couldn't get my newest files that I downloaded after downloading the app. It's like they didn't transfer over from my old music app. That's irritating it really is! So basically if you plan on downloading any more songs than what you previously had this is not the app for you!!

A pretty full featured music app which I'm normally happy with, but a major bug is a constant thorn in my side. Bug: When manually ordering a playlist (20-30 songs in list) with Edit and Drag, after hitting save many of the songs are incorrectly ordered. Frequently requires re-editing the playlist multiple times before the songs are saved in the correct order. Just had to reorder a list 6 times because it kept shuffling them incorrectly. Will gladly update review if fixed.

I liked this app because of how simple it is and straight to the point. I work offshore on a deepwater drill ship so we take helicopters for crew change and that's when I found out a weird thing about this app. If you leave your coverage area, wifi or cell service the app doesn't work. Why does an app that uses zero data need the internet to play songs that are downloaded on my phone? Guess I'll have to keep Poweramp after all.

This app is super fantastic. It took me a few minutes to get my brain wrapped around an old school music player again after weaning myself off of the horrible streaming music apps. But then when I did, I was like, oh yeah I forgot how great it is to just have like a music player on your phone with downloaded music and folders that you could make and the whole thing. The fact that the equalizer is in here with customizable equalizers.

Amazing Music Player! Many options for playback: playlists & queues - a queue is a list of tracks to play - this app allows multiple queues. Create a separate new queue while listening to an old one, save a queue as a play list. But wait there's more, trim the start & end points of a track, create & edit track data & cover art for a track or entire album. Huge list of playable file formats. Easy to understand user interface that even the Google Assistant can trigger, all while OFF line.

Simple idea, executed flawlessly, with seemingly endless options for tinkerers to play with. It plays your music, how you want it, in the order you want it. No ads, no bandwidth, no selling your personal data, no subscriptions (the one-time fee for lifetime pro access is totally worth it tho) - nothing but what it promises. The ability to tailor the EQ by output, or just pass through unfiltered audio, is yet another feature, recently added, that I never had the imagination to wish for.

Has Android Auto fast forward. I haven't tried it in my 6 hour audio book yet, but I hope it works. But it takes way too many menu selections to get to my preferred music folder (when driving in Android Auto). 2 years later, no improvement. I want to have my one folder list open by default without going through so many menus to get there. Also was going to go pro, but it's a bit pricey considering Android Auto has not improved that I can tell.
