Truly amazing. Many options to learn without all the fuss and annoyance of your usual learning apps. Add words and practice them any way you like. Progress at your own pace instead of being held back by apps designed to keep you hooked without teaching you much.

Absolutely love it. Just one suggestion, when I tap on a word it opens an editing window, it would be better if instead it opened a window which displays all the information I've stored about that word so that I don't unknowingly edit it.

I really like this app. but I've a problem with importing the excel sheet, it doesn't work or even imported to the dictionary. In my opinion, The app will be better if you add copy-past importing section what I mean by this that you can add huge lists by copy and past not adding word by word.

One of the best app. In search option, if we could set 'search whole words only' from setting, it would be much better. (Because for example when I search the word 'or' results are: Bored, Core, Fore, Or, Orange, Poor. ) It takes time to find the actual word I am searching for, when vocabulary has became very large.

It gives you possibility to have your own dictionary and to make exercises to memorize new words. Also I use it instead of online dictionary and then I safe words that I like to remember and skip the words that I decide to not include in my dictionary. I use it for two foreign languages in the same time. I highly recommend it.

Actually a good app for learning words, but notifications are not working, so you cannot schedule repeationg. Hope, it will be fixed in recent version. Update: Rechecked notifications settings on my Galaxy S21 and wife's Galaxy S22 Ultra, notifications for this app are permanently disabled and cannot be re-enabled for some reason Update 2: after some update alert is back, thanks!

That's the great app. I like it. A couple improvements would be appreciated: the substantives should be shown with the articles or there schould be a specific field where the articles could be written in. And the second desire: a couple fields where verbs' forms (past simple, perfect etc.) can be specified. Thank you for your efforts!

It'd be absolutely great if you add the option to zoom words in the study mode. When repeating words with Chinese characters, it's a little uncomfortable to distinguish character details sometimes because I have to keep the screen too close to face. Thanks in advance!

I really like your app. But it would be so nice if there would be few more options. For example if there would be an ability to write down different forms and endings of the word in one word file. So I wouldn't add it as a different word. That way I could understand how many words I actually know without overlapping. And also if I could pick up all of the words which have no tags. It would be so cool! Also for some reason it doesn't want to connect my Google account. It says there's some issue.

this is my favourite app for learning words, actually. it finds translations in an instance and there're many cool excercies and a scale which decides whether you already know the word or not - it solves the problem of self control. Moreover, you can use it for more than one language which is very convenient. I'm really glad to have it!

The application is great. Different types of quizzes, a wise strategy of learning, export/import, a lot of settings to adjust it for your needs. Thank you very much, it is probably the best one in its field. Could you also add the setting where you can tune the pace of losing rate of words. May be it also could be useful if a word starts losing the rate, for example 10 days after the last exercise.

Very functional and powerful application to learn new words. Ad banners are present in free version, but do not pop-up too often or annoy. Nice statistics feature to keep yourself involved. Really flexible mechanics to focus on what you really want to learn and in the way you are comfortable to do: main and additional translations, multiple study and training modes. One thing I am missing is web interface. It would be great to be able to enter new words from desktop.

The biggest problem for me now is that sometimes app DOESN'T COMMIT ALL THE CHANGES to database before backup, so some changes (learned/added words or tags) aren't included in backup file at all. Please fix it..... This trifle sometimes is really annoying. But by the rest it's a great app with the most needed functionality included in one place. So, thank you a lot! And yes, I've learned more than 8800 words with it :)

The app is very good but it makes no difference between verbs nouns and adjectives in training, so you easily choose the correct answer not because you know the meaning of the word, but because it's obviously a verb and there's only one verb in the options fo choose your answer from. If developers fix it, I'll rate it 5 Stars.

Excellent app. Helped in honing my interpreter skills and enhancing active vocabulary a great deal. Lately I couldn't access the .xls export files though, 'cause their location's changed. Now they can be found within the android system folder, however can't be copied or moved from out there. Is it some new feature? Can I set the path myself? If not, will it be fixed?

The app is centered around English in the 'writing words in examples' type of training : it does not work with flexion , nor with gramatical genres, nor with plural forms. It offers some defaults for the algorithm of word selection for trainings - but I still can not guess how to achieve 'smart selection' as done by Anki or by Fiszkoteka. Similar doubts about selecting 'difficulty level' in settings. Statistics and 'difficulty level' are global ie. apply uniformly to different tags/languages.

Ok I like your app very much, very handy, comfortable, and deserves 5 stars. but, I would recommend an important strategic improvement for your application. And this is a request. Please add a provision to go directly towards the word that is shown in the notification, rather than dictionary , it is inconvenient to search. Your app periodically notifying words is one of your best positives. Also allow the notification show the meaning of the translation completely. I hope you will do the best.

I like this app, I have been using my dictionary for 5 years. The app has different useful examples and different types of exercises. The biggest difficulty for me when I use the app is that I can't put the list of words (line by line), I have to paste each word into my dictionary app (it takes a lot of time, sometimes it takes 30-60 minutes). I am keen on studing english and I dramatically like the App.

Updated review: Outstanding app, a credit to its developer. Very easy to create your own dictionary to review and learn your own words. You create your own tags to filter your list of words how you want. I have tags for genders, parts of speech and dates of lessons. You can use the space for examples of use for any text you like. Works with Greek although not listed. Only snag = accented vowels do not follow unaccented alphabetically. With 3000+ entries I paid for Pro version (separate review).

I highly recommend the My Dictionary app for anyone looking to improve their English vocabulary. The app is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to look up and save words. I love how it allows me to create my own personalized word lists, which helps me keep track of words I want to learn. The interface is simple, clean, and effective. Overall, this app is a great tool for language learners and anyone wanting to expand their vocabulary in a structured way.
