For such a simple app, it is poorly executed! The timer is the worst. I have only been using the app for a short period, and I am not impressed. I would have better luck just setting calendar reminders on my phone to alert me when it's time to switch my invisalign. Just as well, my phone also has a reliable timer. Not a fan, and I will be deleting this useless app from my phone.

It used to notify me of when to change aligners but now it doesn't, my notifications have always been set to on, I never changed a setting. Thanks to this app I suffered a 3 days delay on when to change aligners. DON'T TRUST THIS to be notified when to change aligners, it's now a useless app. Also the photos I uploaded to keep track of my progress were uploaded to their server and I have no way of seeing them, there's nowhere to go on the app to take a look at them, they disappeared to oblivion.

It uses a LOT of battery power for NOT a lot of anything. Reminders, timers, and a gallery of selfies, some documentation, some shopping that's all I see in it.... No heavy processing but it's the biggest battery power user by far. Also, for some reason, the information available from the Invisalign site in a browser on a desktop has a different collection of selfies. Are there two different databases? Shouldn't the user experience be seamless?

I want to like this app more than I do. The good: tracking which tray you're on (2 of 40, 3 of 40, etc) is very useful and setting reminders to switch to the new set is helpful and works. The bad: the built-in timer for daily use is poorly designed. The alarm barely whispers and only makes a brief noise, unlike typical alarms which vibrate/make noise until you turn them off. As a result, I forget to reset the timer, and it won't let you manually report time, defeating the purpose.

This app was really helpful in the past . However it now only tracks the time that you are wearing the Invisalign, and requires math if I want to know how much longer I can go without the Invisalign for the day. Until this change is incorporated, I am uninstalling this app because it doesn't meet my needs. There are better apps available.

The app has been changed, and thanks, I hate it even more than when it was glitching. Changing the clock to show your wear time so far that day is an INCREDIBLY bad change. I shouldn't have to do math to see how much out time I've had that day. The other obnoxious change is that you'll get a reminder to put your aligners back in, EVEN WHEN THEY'RE MARKED AS IN. It's a neurodivergent's nightmare, it makes my anxiety flare, and I hate it so much.

The counter on this app is not properly made for it's purpose. Before the recent update, it at least told me how much time I had the trays out (basically it was a stopwatch). But now it doesn't even show that. I have to write it down on a note so I can easily know how long they have been out. I also cannot easily edit the time out if I forgot to turn it off or on. I have to keep track on a note for the rest of the day and then edit it the next day when it allows. Timer system needs to be fixed.

The log out/password reset problem was fixed, which is good. I like the UI update. But why did they change the time counter? Now I can't see the total amount of time I've had my aligners out for the day. Previously, if I was already at 1 hour and 30 minutes of "out" time, I knew to be careful about taking them out again. Now, it only shows wear time, so unless you've been keeping track elsewhere, you won't know if you wore your aligners enough until after midnight. Horrible decision.

Mostly marketing. I don't see anything useful in here for which I actually need the app, except taking photos and sending them to my dentist, which I can do without the app anyway. There is also a timer for when you have the trays out , and reminders for when to change trays, but those are settings I had to input myself. Shouldn't the app know automatically and tell me? It seems to be just a tool to harvest data for marketing purposes. Uninstalled.

This app used to be 5 stars and now is only 1. I only have the option to have my aligners out for 15,30, or 45 minutes. They did away with the option to have 1 or 2 hours. And I can no longer see how long I've had my aligners out. Also even after I turn the timer off, it will still "remind" me to put the aligners back in. I'm done using this app it's easier just to time myself with my alarm clock. If I could give this zero stars I would. Invisalign is hard enough without the app making it worse

It's handy for keeping track of time that my Invisalign is out. The app is frustrating, though. I have to force stop the app often. Not every use, but daily. When I start the timer and come back to show my liners back in, oftentimes, it says loading and doesn't fully open the app. I have to force close the app and reopen it to use it. It is fully updated. I have a Galaxy s23ultra.

I used to really like the app, especially the timer feature, because I could see how long I had my aligners out using the timer feature. They have since removed the ability to see how long you've had your aligners out. I've had to find another way to track that because they've made the timer feature useless. Shows the importance of user studies and user testing.

Very easy to use but difficult to get the desired results which is directly related to the app's functionality! Photos disappear, face detection does not work, esp. so, when trying to capture left or a right side pic. The entire process seems seamless until it's an hour later and you're still trying to capture pics... Shame on you Invisalign App!! This process has made me not want to continue with my virtual care!!

Annoying cause I can't easily edit the time I have it out, only the total amount of wear time for the day. Also hitting snooze on the alarm to put the aligners back in just stops it, which is the opposite of what a snooze function normally does. Also why does it take so long to boot up every time I want to use it? It's basically a glorified timer, it's weird that it takes so long. I also wish I could have it set to not need a password, I don't care if someone sees what my teeth will look like

Updating this review after a year of Invisalign: This app is still the WORST. My dentist recommended to give this a try since they updated it. I should be allowed to send photos without the detector filter that DOES NOT WORK. Last year review: This app makes me regret getting Invisalign. Using this app is the WORST part of my week. It always takes me half an hour to take 9 pictures of my teeth. Absolute horrible detection software that just makes you retake your photos for endless times.

Got better info from you tube videos on tips and general info. Photos are terrible, no edit function for zooming and cropping and not able to use photos from my phone storage, where I am able to get better shots. Photo gallery very slow to load. Timer toggle works poorly. Takes numerous taps to get it to slide and often goes directly to wear time graphs. Don't like that I need a password or pin to open the app and no option to decline the need for this. There are other apps that work better.

Honestly, this app is terrible. None of the features work. I enabled alerts when I got the app. I have checked that notifications are allowed under my phone settings. No alerts at all. Not for putting aligners back in. Not for swapping to the next set. Not for taking photos. Baffling, the unlabeled play button icon means you have taken the aligners out, while the unlabeled pause button means that you have put them back in. Trash interface, trash functionality.

Not only does it require you to input a pin or use biometrics every time you open the app, it now randomly logs you out and messes with your time logs. Taking care photos is a chore, and the detection never seems to work properly. Terrible app. Update: Now it won't let me sign in at all. When I hit "Log In" the app goes into an endless loading screen.

This app is the worst. Continuously crashes. It glitches alot so I have to retake my photos again. The timer doesn't even make sense. This app is designed so you don't have to visit your dentist in person and you are relying on sending photos to continue treatment. For as much as I'm paying to have Invisalign, this app is trash. I think a 3 year old could have done a better job designing it.

First, the photo process for virtual care is extremely frustrating. Takes 20 minutes to get 12 pictures that should take a few minutes. Second, it only works with an internet connection, which renders the tracking part of this app almost useless to me, as I frequently work out of cell service. Downloaded a separate, more functional tracker, where you can use the timer offline, edit the times if you forget to pause it, and sync/backup your data when you are back in service.
