Map refresh has become inaccurate, must close and reopen app multiple times to get accurate storm tracking. Opening app is often sluggish.

THIS APP HAS SAVED MY LIFE. My business uses this app and I personally paid for Pro on both Apple and Android. It works; it is simple to set up and uses incredibly minimal data. I am an electrician, worth every penny.

Works fine, then glitches. updated the app then it continues glitching. 1 star until the issue is fixed.

let's us know if lightening is in the area we highlight. The radar is accurate, shows current location of storms and projected path for about an hour ahead. We trust and depend on this app.

This is a worse version of all the free websites that already exist. It doesn't show strikes in real-time and the weather-radar is wildly inaccurate. And those are the only two features of the app except for the "Hotspot" feature which is completely useless.

Great app that allows me to follow nearby storms while I am outside! Provides a great warning system for when I need to get indoors!

It is an essential app for anyone who is camping. It allows us to take measures such as returning early to base or getting items into shelter. I think everyone should have this app if you are a hiker, a farmer, builder or just interested in the natural environment around you. This app has the potential to be a lifesaving app in areas with potential for flash flooding or landslides.

I was using MyRadar, but I sure won't be anymore, it ONLY shows NEXRAD. I tried to find it on the NOX player so I could run it on my PC, cant't find it!!! Someone help me. Anyhow, I am glad my sister told me about this software. She swims a lot in her fancy inground pool with her grandkids. Anytime lightening is withing 20 miles no more swimming, lightening can hit that far away from what we understand. So MLTP is a great safety feature!!! I also use GRLevel3 on my dedicated PC NEXRAD.

[A very recent problem with radar display across all regions - it's become very blocky and doesn't animate. A reinstall failed to fix it - update ... now fixed] Very quick to load with very clear lightning and radar displays. Handy preset nearby lightning alert. Radar quicker to load and clearer than Weatherzone, with lightning strikes overlaid.

Top notch app. Thanks to the team that put this app together. It is highly accurate, even with my location turned off, and the strike alarm sounds off usually within 5 to 8 seconds of the strikes I see outside my windows. Glad I have the pro version as well. I absolutely recommend this app to anyone wanting a heads-up to their local weather situations. 😉

It just works. It is the only app that genuinely just works and does what you want it to do. Instantly tells me when it is nearby and I can safely turn off electronics. Doesn't kill my battery with it running in the background either. Best app, never had a single issue in all the years using it.

Almost Perfect (for a niche use case) On Main/First page, make ring resizeable. On the set distance for notifications, add a numerical distance field to manually input a whole number like 5 or 3. I'm a Security Guard charged with closing the pool and opening it based on lightning. An elapsed time since strike within 5 miles function would be absolutely perfect, (30 minutes of no close strikes is my reopen target). My mental time-math is abhorrently lacking while herding cats at the pool.

incredible app. Have been using this app for over 5 years and it is consistently brilliant. for anybody who loves a storm this is for you. The pricing is also fair, it would be so easy to charge monthly for this (something that would lose me as a customer)!l but instead I actually chose the 'buy us a coffee' option from time to time, as a thank you for how fair this is. please support this company, they deserve good things.

Great weather app. Wanted an app specifically for lightning detection and warning and this does precisely that. Tried FlashAI and it never sent me notifications. I was hesitant to pay for this app, but from day one it has worked above my expectations. Pop up warnings and push notifications come through with no issues. Very nice to have peace of mind when out and about, or just around home since storm season is in full force.

When I use the app and tap for a lighting distance from my home it always shows 24.7 miles away even when the lightning is on my street!! I live in the lightning capital of the U.S and do not receive the information I need. The notifications do not come frequently enough at all! This app is unreliable during a storm. UPDATE: I received a timely email from the developer. My problem is resolved and I love this app. The only improvement would be a time on the notifications without going to the app.

I uninstalled the ad-supported version and went pro. I don't know yet if the pro version is any different, but it's worth a couple dollars to say "thanks". If you watch the weather, especially lightning, this app is truly excellent. It's very well thought out and superior to all other lightning presentations I've found so far. Thank you, dev!

This is a great app! I have been using the free version for about a year and the technology amazes me. Very accurate strike data! I would be interested on how the data is collected. As for the negative reviews, come on people. Bugs happen and most are phone related. And those entitled snowflakes who complain about spending 2 bucks on a man's hard work think nothing of spending $7 in Starbucks on a cup of coffee! I was happy using the free app but just bought this to support the author. Good job!!

Works well, easy to use. Great for hunting, camping, and outdoor activities. However, I use it regularly to check on approaching storms within a 30 mile radius. The central location picked, not at my residence, but to alert for storms coming from typical direction. (Don't care once they pass.) I use 30 miles because lightning can strike up to 25 miles away. I balance radius and direction. Worth it to buy the "PRO" version. It pays the developer's for their hard work!

Overall I really like this app. I work in construction and our safety policy for outdoor work requires a 30-minute safety stand-down after a lightning strike within 10 miles. The ability to set a time of day for notifications to begin and end is great, but being able to set days of the week would be very helpful. I only need the app on workdays. Not a big deal, just something I think about every time I use the app. Overall, a great app though.

Lightning Tracker (Pro) works as advertised for near real time notification of lighting. You can easily get alerts for strikes near you, and adjust the radius you consider 'near'. If you don't allow the app to track your location all the time, it will only alert on the location you last ran the app. However, allowing tracking will easily fix that or you can just open and shut the app if you are at all concerned about lighting.
