Even if you don’t have access to an internet connection (Wi-fi or data), you can still transact with no extra costs. For that, when you are launching the App, you have to give SMS permission. In your device, you also have to go to Settings, then select “M-Pesa App” and switch on the “SMS permissions”, including Premium number permissions.
It’s secure
Every time you log in, you will need to use your M-Pesa 4 digit PIN.
This is the only official and authorised App for accessing your M-Pesa account in Lesotho. Vodacom Lesotho cautions customers against downloading or attempting to use of any other App that purports to offer easy access to M-Pesa. Don’t share your PIN with anyone else.

I'm disappointed with 'My M-Pesa Lesotho app & I don't think I'm the only one....when I use this app to pay WASCO,Ds tv or buy electricity I can't go beyond 'Choose/Select' & this has been happening ever since.... I've deleted & restarted the app nd visited vodacom outlets numerous times but all has been in vain. How do I recommend this app to a friend to install it when I have unresolved problems with it myself? Does it mean that the developers are not aware of this problem?

The first app was working fine untill Vodacom send me a text to Uninstall the old one and install the new version. Now the new verson sucks because I cannot install it past " Premium texts message"

The idea of this app is just perfect, it is so straightforward. However it is so slow, it takes forever to load and often fails to complete transactions. Fix that please! Note: I updated it.

The best I've ever used. I don't like using the dial pad frequently so I resort to the app. It is efficient and fast. You can check your balances easily without repeating the same procedure. ♥️♥️♥️

Very fast transaction processing which I think it will be beneficial to employ people who can move around in the country to teach people about this app especially in the rural areas because too many basotho are mpesa users more than any other networks The app is also convenient as it enables the users process too many transactions within short time I would recommend that app should also allow users with bulk payments as it maybe more convenient to business owners to pay salaries very fast ..

I am enjoying the convenience and easy usage. But please, can we get international transfers on the app as well ?!!! And not just African countries, overseas as well, we need a replacement for worldremit, URGENTLY!

The App is really awesome, easy to use and really fast. I enjoy using it, but most of all I enjoy the topup from bank feature. Please do fix the update issue.. whenever there is an update, it doesn't say "update" on google play, it's only open and uninstall. Not sure if it's just my phone. 02/12/23 I am editing this review because the update issue has been fixed. Thanks to the creators, your awesome Vodacom. A ten star rating to the app.

Very good when it works but not always reliable cause of network issues. Most times cannot access App and have to use the old method of *111# which is more reliable. Fix the kinks 8 times out of 10 the app doesn't work!🙄

Most convenient, easy to navigate through, contain appropriate information, modernized + slick features, has local currency which shows patriotism. 🇱🇸🇱🇸🇱🇸 Would pretty much edge more to advance to using the app in order to get more power in self service.

The application worked great at first but now requires me to update it. And after updating it it still shows the very same error message but playstore shows it as up to date. I hope this issue gets resolved soon as this app has been effective and its very advantageous.

When it eventually works, it is super efficient and makes everything easy. But it keeps Getting stuck by the Sms Permission yet the permission is granted. It has been more than 3 months. 🤷🏾♂️ Will it ever be fixed. 😡 Take us back to the old version.

I love this app iyoh, it is transparent and it gives power to you to decide whether the intended transaction is feasible or not. It keeps your recent contacts on your finger tips. The interface is friendly and saves time. I love it the more. Thanks to the developers

M-Pesa is a very handy app with cool features, all just a few clicks away. The interface is really appealing to the eye. I have one issue though: Why is FNB Lesotho NOT onboarded on the bank-to-wallet feature like STD Lesotho Bank and Nedbank?

wish it worked without data. It actually should. and the app messages/texts that pop up should lead to just that message, not a long process of having to login. shouldn't have to. I should just read the message or rather just send an sms. Even with putting a rating, it keeps asking for my pin. makes me feel unsafe

Unable to top up from bank account which is the one feature that made it very convenient as one could easily make payments from their bank account to Mpesa registered number. This feature has not been working for some months now and no communication has been made on it nor progress updates. Quite disappointing indeed.

This app is on an upper echelon! Now, some people whom I recommended this app, inc. my pops, thought dialing n having the app do it for you is the same thing. But honestly, its not! Right now buying electricity, bundles n the rest of other services is time-saving for me, let alone the biometric fingerprint unlock to confirm stuff😭🔥🔥. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Looking forward to more upgrades🥺🔥

Almost as convenient as the *200# method we're used to. But I am disappointed that I can't make open requests for things like donations and contributions. Money requests are the only feature that set it apart from the USSD route. Wouldn't have installed the app if I knew.

App is useful but the fact that it becomes outdated is a challenge especially when one is not connected to vcl network, I mean when one is out of Africa for a long time because we are unable to update as it sends code to vcl number. How can I get help on this. My colleague's app is not working now and I have a fear that mine is gonna do the same thing soon.

Can't Install. Can't get past allow "sms permissions required". But funny on first installation it worked, but I had to reinstall cause it was acting up, but now I cant get thru sms permissions. I just tried on a new phone and it installed without a problem. So the issue could be the reinstallation. Please fix it. It was a good app for the short time I used it..very convenient.

it is pretty convenient and easy to use though will not work without data/WiFi.. I thought when they said I have access to my account statements they would be longer than my previous last 5 transection. a few on and of glitches which I presume are because of the network, but overall a good app
