The My NYCHA mobile application allows public housing residents to create, submit, schedule, view and update maintenance service requests, view alerts and outages related to their developments, view their scheduled inspections and maintain their contact information via their smartphones and tablets. My NYCHA empowers residents to create service request 24/7 and reduce their need to call NYCHA’s Customer Contact Center.

Might as well just remove the app from the app store and just use their barely function website since you get an error trying to sign in on the app

This is very annoying this app doesn't work you have no choice but to call to request repairs and wait for more then 30mins before you actually speak to someone...ridiculous

the app is great the only issue i have is workers deleting the ticket out of the system and not doing any of the work. this has happened to me numerous times. There should be a way that workers cant remove work request slips until they can proove the work was done other then this issue the app is great.

Always asking for connection to wifi and my wi-fi is on, hello it's on all the time. Wasteful app, just like NYCHA to offer such bad service ...I've even used my land line phone that has me waiting over 20 minutes. ...!!!!!!!

Don't like this app. I keep receiving an error that reads. Sorry, you are currently offline. Please connect to the internet and try again later. My device stays connected to the internet. It's very annoying

I have changed my password, I also uninstalled this nycha app , installed it back again & all it's giving back it the word error 😠. It's frustrating & a waste of time. I'm not rating nothing. This app is completely garbage 🗑️.the messed up thing about the app is the people who invented it.

Communication is very important. Without it, nothing will be repaired in the apartment. Housing assistance is sometimes never in the office. Receptionist doesn't do anything but talk on her iPhone. Customer contact center has a negative attitude and very unprofessional. Living in public housing is a nightmare. We should all treat one another with respect.

Ultra slow and terrible UI "please wait" literally every time you touch anything... why do we have to keep signing in over and over.. I'm the only one using my phone it literally does not make since and its a waste of time. And what's the damn point of having the "convenience" of this app if nobody ever answers the call.. I've been waiting 46 days to have a simple issue fixed. Tell me developers... what's the damn point and who's door do I have to knock on to get some attention from nycha...

The app never works, you can never sign in and if you have mobility issues you will have to crawl to the main office because it seems like " they just don't care ". It also seems like all NYC apps have the same problems.

I would give it a zero, since I haven't been able to log in for about a year. Sent E-mails got no response or resolution. Just same error messege saying can't log in try again later. This app has't been updated since 2020. Is there a tech dept.? 8/15/22 Still can't use app.. TECH SUPPORT, WHERE ARE YOUUUUU????

This app is not working. It never worked. I put in my info in several times, and what shows up is a 'login failed'.. I had to add the self-service portal onto the desktop on my phone by going into nyc.gov. This app should either be taken down, or fixed.

The app hasn't been working for months, at least 3 months now. I have sent many emails and call many times and nothing gets done. This app was very helpful reporting and tracking things that are not done properly. I feel this is the reason they don't fix it.

not good wont work for me something's see ok like setting up a ticket but when it comes to signing up for ERent or trying to view or check rent or pay it not one thing about that works at all that's why I give it 2 star Rating it needs to be fix I can't say how many times I reported it on the app itself but it was a lot it needs some work I can't pay my rent on this app if it won't show me the rent it only shows a blank page with link that won't work.

I use this app to create and check tickets, check my rent payments and have had no problems except once when it would not allow me to log on. Since that time, it has been consistently available and operational. It is better than calling the Call Center in my opinion. One thing I wish we could complain about heat and hot water without having to create a ticket.i

This app is as garbage as the service that they give to us tenants. I usually use the app to report repairs or anything that is out of order. For the past few weeks I'm getting an error saying "You currently offline. Please connect to the Internet and try again". I clearly have mobile data and even on WiFi it still says the same.

Rent payment no longer works. A-Z characters aren't recorded, only numbers. Please fix. Also, please add the ability to upload photos and/or video when submitting repair tickets. This will help tenants provide as much info as possible when requesting service and it would be a great way to help maintenance accurately identify the tenant's issue.

This app doesn't work at all! 😡 Keeps telling me I am "offline" so I can't even log in! Every time I try to log in I get the same message. It's so frustrating I am going back to calling for service and repairs even though it means I'll be put on hold for 20 minutes. That'll be more tolerable than using this app. App is total b*llsh*t!! It deserves a minus 5 star rating! Worst app I've ever used!!! 😡😡😡

Giving this app 3 stars right now as I sit here waiting on the NYCHA call line for what will supposedly be "over 10 minutes" becuz I haven't been able to log in to the app AT ALL for *WEEKS* since it says there's an error. When the app works, it's very useful (tho I still wish there were an option to send photos of damages). Please fix the app. Those phone wait times are absurd.

I have used this (your) NYCHA app numerous times with out any issues. Now I receive a log in error everytime I log in. I have uninstalled then reinstalled yet I still get the same error. I need this problem corrected as soon as possible. Your call center is extremely busy and hold times often lead to being hung up on. Also, this app hasent been updated in 2 years!? What are you waiting for?!

This app is horrible. You cannot get through to a service agent to make a call because the phone lines are always tied up. They tell you to make it easier and faster "they say". Certain tickets you cannot put in a service request for, telling you to call the 7771 number, and it's a loop of not being able to get through, use the app. This does not make things easier.
