Got roped into story, decided to pay for a week to finish it. VERY short "chapters"(literally a page of a normal book). They charged me three times. Gave me a few more chapters but now(same day literally 30 minutes of reading) and it is saying chapters are locked, need coins, and I'd have to pay more. No thanks. Very into the story even though it's obviously written by AI but it's not worth that kind of money. What the actual F-.

I was lured into installing this app because of a sample of a book, and I was hooked. Then I discovered that I got one "chapter" every 8 hours. Or I could use real money to buy "coins" to read faster. Yeah, no thanks. So I rolled along, one chapter every 8 hours, figuring I may finish the book by Christmas if I didn't just lose interest. I had a lightbulb moment this morning and looked on Amazon for the book. There it was, for $4.99. The whole book, all at once. So long Passion app.

Don't try the subscription! It doesn't work, their loophole is that there is ad free and timed unlocked chapters. They will not explain the difference so you understand and they have chapters showing 55 coins instead of the 33.. you'll think you are getting more but you aren't, it's essentially the same. They list a refund is available if you are eligible but then say you fall under the category where they won't. Don't fall for this, much better apps out there with none of these issues.

Just after your money. I thought the story was interesting enough in the add, so I figured I'd give it a shot. 5 chapter's for free then 33 coins for each one after that?! They give you 40 coins for downloading the app, then you have to wait 8hrs to get the next chapter. Otherwise they want you to pay $3/$6/$10 per week to unlock 13/27/54 chapters respectively. That's not even to get the full book or more than one book. No thanks!

You can earn coins to keep reading but it's very few and only opens a few chapters. Then you have no choice but to buy them.. unless you're willing to come back every 8 hrs. for 1 chapter which is too short and sooo not worth it! This app is ONLY about making money off its subscribers and not at all about enticing subs to want to invest money into continuing reading. The book I started has 50 chapters + and is a series. At that rate I'll finish it in a few years! No thanks! πππ

3 day trial shows that the subscription=SCAM. It took out the ads that give extra coins, it took the "get coins for completing tasks" option, & no noticable benefits- it's WORSE w/subscription. W/out subscription u can watch 6 ads a day for coins (enough for 1 chapter) & u can watch ads at the end of chapters to get a few coins, but not enough to unlock a chapter. U get a daily award as well which is nice. It's good if u don't want to get stuck reading all day so 2 stars instead of 1 for that.

Not great just to satisfy my curiosity. They tempt you with part of the book in the ad. Then when installed, they don't even make all of the part that was in the ad free. They give you 40 coins, 33 to unlock the chapter that was in the ad. Now it's 8 hours to wait for next chapter. I'll play their game for the next week to finish this one book, but then I'm un-installing this nonsense. Garbage.

Steals Money! SCAM!!! I read a few chapters. I liked the book from an ad. So I downloaded this app. Got a few chapters in, and they wanted you to pay, as all reading apps do. I paid for a subscription. They had a 3 day trial for .99. It was suppose to give me 1000 coins, unlock the chapters, and a few other stuff. I DIDNT GET ANYTHING, YET THEY TOOK THE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. I canceled the subscription a couple of minutes later but there's no option to get my money back for what I paid.

This app does allow free reading if you only read one chapter every 8 hours. You can purchase coins but it will cost a lot to finish a book. They also offer a subscription for 9.99 per month with a 3 day trial for just .99. I decided to try it and paid my .99. The app charged me, but my plan never started, and even though I logged in through Google, it keeps telling me I'm just a guest. So the app appears to be buggy, and I'm glad only lost a dollar. Will likely delete.

I didn't receive the additional chapters upon purchase. The ad said I would receive an additional 24 chapters to the usual 30 (1000 coins) for the initial purchase of the premium subscription for $9.99. Thankfully you cancel the subscription and take the loss. Maybe they will update their ads to appear more truthful.. Other than that, enjoy the stories.

If I could give it a zero I would! The way it operates is that to read the book you have to purchase coins which would add up to over 10x what it would cost to just purchase the book. Their "chapters" equate to one page, maybe 2 pages if I am generous, of a book and then it locks for 8 hours before you can read the next chapter without making a purchase. This is a total scam and should be removed from the play store!!!!!

It gets you hooked and then you have to pay for coins. You only get to watch 6 ads & get 6 coins! RIDICULOUS! I get thr commentary now. I will stick to Readict at least there I can watch an ad & continue the book & I would rather do that wait 11 hours for 1 chapter. I would not recommend this app! Yes the ads capture you attention & there are great books bur not worth it.

So I'm an avid reader. This app is ok if you're willing to pay a lot of money. I'm frustrated that they call pages chapters. And they charge by the page. Unlike other apps no option to maybe watch a video to move on for free. Just pay, sign up for the subscription or wait 8 hours to read the next page. I can go through a good book in a couple days so this kind of wait is unacceptable to me. At $0.33/page ("chapter") the nice little novella I want to read would cost more than $81! Total rip off.

Stories are good, but to get past the first few chapters is unreasonable. You either have to pay or wait 8 hours. I tried the subscription, but there was absolutely no difference between having and not having the subscription. I didn't receive any extra coins like promised. I thought I'd be receiving a certain amount of chapters free, but apparently not. The benefits were confusing to understand, but it seemed as though I didn't receive any of them. This app is a colossal SCAM. Waste of time!

I just payed for the 3 day trial subscription and I got to read one chapter for free then it didn't work. The story suggested I should buy it like I didn't just pay for it beforehand. I went to get help from the app and tried the steps it said to do if your benefits weren't showing and it said no premium. I went contacted them and they basically said oh well you'll slowly receive the coins. I'm so upset cause the stories are great but the huge amount time and money needed is crazy & unnecessary

Disappointing. I definitely don't mind paying for books. They don't all have to be great literature either. As other reviewers have said, though, this is a lot of pay for very little play. After burning through all of my free options, I looked at what reading the entire book would cost, and it just didn't make sense. A more reasonably priced monthly subscription along with a more easily navigated app would change my mind.

Some of the stories are good, but the chapters are VERY short, I've read 28 chapters in less than 2 days.. the premium is $40 a month ($10/week) so that's definitely not worth it. I am also unable to purchase coins to unlock chapters for some reason, there's some sort of error in the system. Not very ideal and very inconvenient, but the support team did offer me 6 free chapters for that inconvenience. (Which admittedly only took me about 15 minutes to finish) but was still something I suppose.

You either pay or you have to wait 8 hours between very short chapters. I started 2 books (that I read the beginning in the advertisements) and 1 is good, in a month or 2, I might be able to finish it. And the 2nd one isn't that good. I've been reading for 4 days and I still haven't gotten past the point they reveal in the ad. I'll finish the first book then remove this app. There are much better apps out there. If you like to pay a lot, then enjoy!

I was jazzed to read on the app after an ad I saw. I started reading, and it was good. Then, to progress past the "free" chapters, π/coins were required for more. Once my "free " π/coins were exhausted, an offer for membership or a "package deal" was offered. π π€. A book with 436 chapters (and additional continuation books) at 33 π/coins IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS! $100-200 for an online book. No thanks. I prefer paperback anyway. What a racket!!

Disappointing to say the least! I wish I'd read the reviews before downloading the app, but as many have mentioned, the chapters are short and limited. I tried the 3 day paid trial (which, if you've read the fine print also says it needs to be canceled 24hrs ahead!) However, it only enabled me to read a few more chapters before being blocked again unless I paid for the remaining chapters. $10/week subscription isn't worth the money especially when one has to pay to read more chapters!!
