Just replaced the old app with this new one on my LG phone running Android version 9, seemed to work ok, it could communicate with my 2020 Cayenne e-hybrid. I was able to send out a preheat command to the Porsche last night, the cabin and steering wheel was nicely warmed up. Also I was notified when battery charging session was completed using a L2 charger. I was not able to upgrade this App to a ZTE Grand X View tablet running Android version10 even though it has a sim card, my ZTE screen just popped up a incompatible message. The old app still works on the ZTE though. There are some functions on this new app that I don't understand - namely all the different charge point selection/location features - maybe its for Taycan owners only? Lets see how it performs after a month's use, the old app tends to loose connection randomly, I have to live with that from the day I took delivery of my e-hybrid, maybe this time the software design team has solved the connection problems. Further update about this app, it has been 5 weeks since I was able to communicate with my e-hybrid. No more stars for this app.

Fair functionality. Some things work. Often disconnects. But odd that service interval can't be reset after dealer service performed.

The app worked for awhile and still does but now I have lost the ability to type in a destination and send it to the car. Old app allowed locking and unlocking of the vehicle while the new app does not. I do like the preheat function which has been great during the cold days. Hopefully soon more functions will be incorporated.

I just received access to this site as part of the building process for my customer ordered 911 GTS. This will be interesting to monitor!

Very nice and clean app for my car. The only issue is that you can not download new apps or navigation destinations from the app to the car, which would be a wonderful feature.

Service keeps going down and it's not possible to see the vehicle's status or send remote commands

Awful. Do not use this app if you can avoid it. When used with a Taycan, any actions in the app take a minimum of 30 seconds to register, and frequently show up as if the action did not take place when it did or vice versa. in addition, the app frequently displays that the car is in privacy mode when it is absolutely not, and even toggling that mode from the car on and back off again does not fix it. The only thing less functional than this app is the Google watch app that pairs with it.

Used to work, now crashing when selecting charger. Cannot charge. Pretty bad. just updated again, checked at home, seemed to work, went to the charger, app says no Internet, while all other apps work, including browser. seems like Porsche servers took a dive. no words to explain how bad this is

Limited utility for what I want to do. I cannot add more than one favorite POI at a time. In the my Porsche web page I used to be able to see and edit all my favorite destinations but I can't do this anymore, either with the app or the web page. Furthermore, any favorite I do add in the app does not load in my car when I refresh POIs.

Totally useless. I tried to register my car. Entered all the information, took pictures of my DL and registration, entered my cell phone number in all possible formats ... Just to get diagnostic "something went wrong". No hint to what is wrong, no way to complete the registration or contact support. The only option - to stop and discard everything I entered. Worst possible user experience. I could not expect such quality from Porsche.

6/2022- app continues to be garbage, doesn't even connect to the car. Gray dot with the circle animation goes on to infinity Pixel 6 pro with taycan App crashes randomly, not stable Why did the app get less useful? Took away tire pressure data It's 2022 why don't I have the option of locking/unlocking the door remotely??? Same with the windows Less flashy intro splash screens and focus that effort into making the app more stable and functional

Misses one of the most important features. For EVs it may give you charging information, but if you drive a combustion engine 911, there is no way to check your battery status. Porsche's are sadly famous for draining their battery when not driven, even for relatively short periods, and while I can check almost anything with the app and open the door remotely (???), you can't see your battery status. All you get is a theft alarm notification that basically tells you that your battery is dead. 👎

Jul 12th update to comment: I have sent two emails to customer support and have not received a response back. I haven't been able to connect to my PCM since the last app update in June. Remote Access Authorization will not work. I've tried the app as well as the website and nothing works. Please help. I've paid for three different PCM subscriptions and can't even use them. It's only happened since the most recent update and didn't have this issue before.

I was entirely wrong about how reliable this app is. 8 month of ownership has had a really bad impression. now calendar updates and syncs. I wonder what will be broken next. i dont know why i would end up paying for a service that is advertised to work but is only working roughly less than 3 months total time within the 1st year of ownership. Things that are broken: - connectivity - data updates (tire pressure, distance, service, etc) - calendar syncs - amazon music - car lock ability

Not bad, not useful. It quickly found my car after logging in through myporsche website. And if you arent familiar, getting your car added is "approved" by porsche, not "submit anything". I don't have a taycan, but I guess that's the only thing available for "tips and tricks" so far. Seems lacking in functionality for now, but overall flow is nice. It's a nice start and will keep for updates. I wouldn't be surprised if pfs is denied, due to security required (like banks). Hopefully less gossip?

Missing or broken functionality, unreliable and slow, pretty much sum up my experience with this app. I use it to try and control my 2022 Taycan GTS. It sometimes works but it has been slow to send and receive commands to the car and it's features are lacking. For example, why no widget to pre-condition, lock or unlock? Those are in the app, so please give us a widget. Look at the My BMW app for an example that works. Also, I've never had the app security work so that's broken too.

Beyond useless. The old version had no issues connecting to the car and setting climate. The new one just has an eternal spinning wheel and never evokes a response from the car. Just in time for winter! Reverted back to the old version but now they blocked using it. I don't understand how a manufacturer with the prestige of Porsche can fail so consistently in the tech/app realm of car manufacturing.
