*UPDATE* THIS APP IS STILL TERRIBLE. The pick me up doesn't work, it shows 100% complete yet won't release control of until. Trying to change run time does not stay. Can't save settings. The unit cleans great. App stinks. **UPDATE** After a full season of use this app is no better. It is horrible, not stable and frustrating. Still doesn't pick me up, cleaning cycles get all messed up when Changing settings. Changing time of cycle removes cleaner. Just not good. So frustrating

Basic, no features at all. I have their flag ship sigma but only have 1 cleaning mode, no temperature reading, no done mode to bring it to the surface. You can turn the robot on and off and slowly drive it around if you choose. I would not waste money buying their wifi enabled bot, you get more cleaning modes on the cheaper manual input bots for half the price

I can not say anything yet about cleaning quality yet, but the app is a garbage. It can not connect on one phone, staying in the loop of identifying the device, then red circle, then green, when clicking next, it goes back to identifying the device. I was able to connect using my backup phone, but when logged into the application from the primary phone, it fall back into the same identification loop.

It took me awhile to get this to connect through Bluetooth. I had to shut down the app, unplug the device and then NOT turn the pool vac on to get it to connect. This is the opposite of what the directions say. I have the Active 40 model. For one that is supposed to be near the top of the line, it only has one damned button on the display. That is very sad/cheap of Maytronics. Does Mercedes put cheap tires on their top of the line cars? No. You should give us all buttons. Shame on you.

Spent way too much for it not to work! I have never been able to get it to connect via the app. Called tech support was told my unit doesn't have that feature, but it has Bluetooth?? It cleans great but only cleans one side of my pool. I have put it on the side I want it to clean, and it ends back on the one side. It's so frustrating! A friend bought a different brand hlf the cost and hers works so much better!!

Worst app I've ever seen, scamware included. Don't buy dolphin, as they expect you to use this app. 1) requires account. Why? No explaination. 2) requires CONSTANT wifi. Even when trying to photograph the QR code on the power supply. Good luck if your pool is out back 3) requires location data to take photos. WHY? Total design fail. I just wanted an on button (which is absent on the actual device), but I guess that's too much to ask from the minds at maytronics.

30+minutes to get connected. Disconnected from my wifi network and it worked! What does it do with my Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus? It acts as a substitute power button and keeps me from bending at the waist to press the power button on the power station. It also might notify me when it's done cleaning so I can run outside and take the robot out of the water before it drowns. Scheduling only works if you leave your robot in the water. I have a chlorinated pool so that's a no go. This is useless.

Connecting is iffy to okay. The robot does a pretty good job cleaning the pool but I did expect better for almost $1,400. Using the app to control the robot is atrocious. Seriously, please try and fix this. I push forward and it goes backwards. I push backwards and it goes right. I understand there may be a learning curve but you can't learn when there's no consistency in the direction the robot goes. The lag time between my directions and the robots movements is also very inconsistent.

It works, but it's just poor. Unless they redesign this app, don't waste your money on the WiFi connected bots. 1. Only has 3 options for scheduling (every day, every 2 days, every 3 days). No option for day of week, or different times per day 2. No manual control (at least on my model, which was still a $1000 model). 3. No useful status info or cleaning customization. Just if it's running or not. No quick clean, to cleaning type, just in or off. 4. Unreliable connectivity.

It's fine when it works but most of the time it struggles to stay connected via Wi-Fi. I have the power supply literally right next to my Wi-Fi access point and it can't stay connected. It's also a pain that you have to go through every step to try to get it connected again, like even the naming it step, why? Then when it fails to connect and you switch to Bluetooth, it resets the schedule, fun. Edit: After a reset, I can connect again, but now it randomly clears the schedule every other week.

The actual pool cleaner is great, but this app leaves a lot to be desired. Very clunky. Preferences don't stay, cleaning cycle times don't make sense and adjustment requires multiple attempts. In the end you can get it to work, but this isn't what I expected for such an expensive product. Maytronics - your tag line is "Exceptional Experience"... maybe try investing in that part.

I only use this app to start/stop my Sigma robot and see how much time is remaining. The scheduling feature is out because I don't leave the robot in the chlorinated pool 24/7. The mode selection is out because the Sigma only has one mode (as far as I know). Finally, the manual control with the app suffers from latency issues between your mobile and the robot. Minus one star for that because it would be nice to be able to use responsive manual controls at the end of a cycle, bring it closer to you so you can pull it out of the pool. So, of the 3 functions relevant to the Sigma, two work fine (start/stop and timer) and one is problematic (manual control). App setup went fine. Have not experienced any crashes. I assume the experience is going to vary by robot. This review is based on the Dolphin Sigma.

At this point, I cannot get out of setup. I connect to the robot via Bluetooth, but can't get to the step of connecting to WiFi. After naming the robot, the app disconnects from Bluetooth and sends me back to the beginning of setup. Ironically my WiFi network recognizes the robot if I look at devices. This app needs a way to manually set up Bluetooth and WiFi. I appreciate trying to ease setup, but it needs to work!

Connection is a nightmare. Worked for a while. Now won't connect. Reinstalled and still won't connect. Edit. My response to the inquiry "I'm sorry to learn...." My dolphin lost connection to my app. The first time I connected it, it took an hour of trying and retrying until the app finally picked up the unit. Your QR code sucks. When you scan it, the blue processing circle shows up on the screen and just spins and spins. I can scan the QR with my normal camera just fine and it picks up t

It's pretty simple to get it set up and it does what it says it will do. The scheduling aspects of the app have some redundancies but unless you're a redundunce, it's pretty simple to work around it. From a consumer's perspective, the UX could use some reorganization and streamlining to patch up the overlapping scheduling and controls. It does what it is meant to do tho, which is more than you can say about a lot of apps that exist in the Play store for similar, appliance-control purposes.

I specifically bought the nautilus cc plus for the ability to manually control it. Although the app screen shots in the play store show the manual control option. No such option exists in the app after I installed it. The cleaner hangs on my drain too long. I need this feature to really get all areas of the pool. Without this ability, I'm afraid I wasted a lot of money.

The app works fine, however it will notify when the cycle is completed but not when it failed to complete which is annoying. My robot will occasionally get stuck trying to climb the stairs and flip to it's side, it's unable to level itself and requires me to flip it back. But the app doesn't alert me of that error unless I check the app directly.

still needs the occasional manual cleaning but is well worth the investment. manual drive and pick up could be improved a bit. Recent app updates have caused connectivity issues. My app works about 70% of the time, but after updates, my wife and son can only get the bot to run on Bluetooth Update. I am down to less than 50% connectivity with the app. Worked great last season. Based on this seasons experience, I might recommend looking into competitors' products

The ability to connect to wifi and stay connected is horrible. Why the Dolphin is confused by 5Ghz or must ONLY receive 2Ghz with current routers is absurd; this is 2024 not 1990. A nice feature would be a text msg or some kind of notification that it is stuck and the baskets needs emptying. I'd recommend looking at the features robotic home vacuum cleaners have and programming these into the app. Quality, durability and app control is paramount!

The vacuum works but I can no longer control it from the app. It has to be manually turned on every day as the app cannot find the robot, saying there's an issue with bluetooth and/or wifi when there isn't. Cleanings haven't been recordered since June 28th. Deleted and re-downloaded to no avail. Unplugged and replugged the power box which only resets the robot, it doesn't help with the app issues. Very upsetting.
