The FICO app itself is ok. Nothing spectacular, really. Ok interface, not much functionality, pretty much the same info as the web interface...no reason to have the actual app. Since FICO is a monopoly they will nickel-and-dime you for everything. The important part is being able to see the mortgage and auto lending scores types that lenders actually will pull. All the other score being fed to us as "free" are way off and are total bs. enjoy.

It's good tool to keep any eye on ur rating. Generally like having this tool but not enough info on why score jumps up or down other than balance. Big problem has been conflicting info shown on different screens... For ex. It recently showed me my score jump by 17 on the graph, but on the main score page showed my score for same bureau fall by 17. No reasoning.

It's just "okay." Like many of the reviews share, it frequently has glitches and won't update. I've had to uninstall and reinstall repeatedly just to have current data. I find the accuracy leaving something to be desired; very much behind current reporting. If you are looking for specific, accurate info, go to the full website to get it.

I wanted to give a update since I have used this app for several months now. It's still a very good app navigation is well laid out, my only issue is when I get the notification alerts it's hard to distinguish which ones are new because the colors are all the same I would suggest changing it so that we can tell the new alerts from old. I also want to mention that it does have biometric which is nice.

Pretty awesome and straight to the point. Easy to navigate. When it comes to fico scores these are the ones you need to monitor. Credit karma and the others are vantage scoring. To date no one or very few lenders use those scores in deciding credit worthiness. With myfico I can easily see where I'm at across the whole spectrum and monitor or address any challenges.

Not very useful. It requires a paid account to use this service. Other score providers have free accounts. Myfico is just one score provider. Experian has a free account. They are one of the three credit bureaus. MyFico is trying to drive crazy Their security steps are not designed for real people. It's designed for amateurs. I put in my 4 digit code. That's not allowed to work. I need to enter my password. I did that. I need a new code. X*X*! I have a code. I reenter it. They're happy.

Last month I got a notification saying that my info was found in some unsafe areas. Of course I immediately opened the app to see what the notification was, but was greeted by a blank error screen. I have been trying to login to this app for over a month and keep getting a blank error screen saying "Network error unable to connect to server. Please try again later." I am on the monthly plan. I don't think it's fair for me to be charged each month for an app that doesn't work over half the time.

Best credit site out there. Gotta get the paid version, but it's worth it. The auto and mortgage scores are well worth it if you're considering a major purchase. I would like a more dynamic scenario generator. It would be helpful if you could stack events pertaining to credit cards and different types of loans. Otherwise, great app. The scenario simulator was very helpful for me and has helped me with financial planning since I purchased the premium version.

I love what this provides: continuous credit monitoring, a credit score that is more likely used by lenders than other models, full reports for each bureau in a refined consolidated format, wonderful simulators, and various educational resources. The content is great. The app is horrible. Frequent freezing, crashing, and unresponsiveness plague what would otherwise be a perfect app. (I am using a Pixel 4 XL on a gigabit bandwidth . I can only imagine what some older phones may experience.

Works as expected but there is definitely a delay with updates. For example, I paid about $4000 to a credit card in a lump sum. I received an alert 30+ days later that my account decreased by $2847. Conversely, when a made a $3000 purchase, the alert and corresponding score drop was almost immediate. I mostly blame the credit process for all of this. The app just exposes it very well.

Pay money to monitor my own credit? Absolutely not! People are trying to work on their credit and get better, but clearly not with app like this. And all the suggestions and offers are just a scam and false advertising. Get people in more debt is what app like this good for. Pretending helping by offering the worse possible credit card with the highest interest rate is just wrong. Premium version?? That's where the wrong starts!

It gives you good information when considering a major purchase like a house or car. They need to improve the simulator dramatically so you have the same kind of rapid-rescore-like information lenders do. What exactly will happen if you pay off X or pay down a bit Y? That's a huge piece of information that is missing. Without that, the subscription is too expensive in my opinion.

Generally pretty good app, but you can get faster updates from Experian directly--typically 1-2 days faster. Also, there's a bug that prevents credit alerts from showing up without first restarting the app. To be clear, it will show the alert, but when you click for more details, it shows an older alert instead. Finally, sometimes purchases do not go through right away, and you may have to wait up to 30 minutes to view your report(s).

Great because its the only place to view 3 FICO scores, with additional scores the mortgage lenders and bank card issuers use. It's actually spot on accurate, when i applied. Every other site gives you vantage or some other propietary calculation. FICO is the only model Ive seen used by creditors. Bad news is it cost a bit; $30 a month for a score every 3 months is expensive. i wish there was a cheaper option to view scores on a one time basis $15 would be about right.

The app itself functions well and does what it is supposed to do. No glitches that I have noticed. The problem I have here is that the free version doesn't show you relevant information and it could, for free. This isn't just with this app. All credit reporting apps give you the very bare minimum and anytime you click on more it wants you to pay, pay, pay. Many people working on their credit. I feel like they make enough money to show us our OWN information for FREE. THIS SHOULD BE ALL FREE.

Very misleading. It pretends to be a subscription but really it's a one-time score that you have to pay for once a month. Bought early to watch it move during my escrow and then I realized it was still my score from a month ago. The plans are also misleading I ended up purchasing the wrong plan and had to call and have a 10 minute conversation just to pay them more money.

I like this app only because it gives the score most lenders use. I don't like that it is proprietary and, for all intents and purposes, a monopoly. They pull your credit report once a month on the premium plan. They monitor for changes and only update your 3 main FICO 8 scores, with an estimate based on the changes, which is not as accurate as pulling and scoring your entire credit report. If the updates included all the scores, it might be worth what they charge. I can't fully recommend.

Great design and UI, but that's where it all ends. The app is useless. The actual scores are not even close to what lenders see. If you are at 800, for example, lenders see 720. Hard to believe, eh? Welcome to the real world! Got rid of the app, such a waste of time with totally inaccurate info.

Credit score app and scoring system is rigged. Thankful I have no debt. But if i use my credit card which I always pay off and the amount goes above 30% I get almost instantly get points deducted from my score but if I keep it below 30% it takes several months to regain the points. It is a rigged system that I'm glad that I am not in bondage to. It is just sad that they treat people that way. I can't see any future loans being approved with the way they treat my score.

Yet another scam, and here's why: I paid for all access to all of the credit scores in all of the categories, only to find out that this app does NOT frequently update all of the categories like it does the main score. The subcategories, i.e., auto, home, credit card, etc., update 1x a month, making it worthless to someone who's actively monitoring their credit to make a move. As a free app monitoring the single main score, it's accurate and prompt, but for everything else? Don't waste your $$.
