It'd probably be a good app if it didn't kill your battery just opening the app up. Dear sweet baby jeepers, the damn thing vibrates about 20 times before you even try and do anything. Then it typically takes 4-5 attempts just to get your vehicle started. Mostly bc the app freezes at the "sending" notification and you have to trick it into working by trying to switch to another vehicle (which doesn't even exist for me) before it will let you try and start it again.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS APP!!! Every since this "update" I have not been able to get vehicle status, it keeps saying refresh & the controls aren't working properly. I can't lock or start my car!! I've already logged out & logged back in, as well as uninstalled & reinstalled and it still does work. This is the 2nd time I've had this issue. FIX THE APP!!!

FIX THIS APP! Like all the others said, this is a PAID service, and the poor functionality is inexcusable! The remote start (the main reason for this app) does not work in the middle of winter! Nice! How about a few free months to cover for the latest untested, non-functional app update??? What say you GMC?? And don't tell me to send you an email... I've done that before, and NO ONE EVER writes back...

Horrible app. It takes forever to just log in....why in the world can it not just be opened by a 4 digit pin, like most other apps? That would make it much faster to do things like start your vehicle. That was the one reason I was excited to have an app for my car...to start it remotely and be able to see that it actually started. But I never use it because it's sooooooo slow and clumsy and inconvenient. Big fail.

Remote start no longer works. I open the app and it says sending it has said this for the last 3 weeks no matter how many times I close the app, sign out or restart my device. Back to using the key fob making this app useless. Not sure what happened in the "update" but it's definitely not better, it used to work great...not any more. Thank you for your rapid response. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it today and now the remote start works! Also updated to 5 🌟!!!

This apps functionality is sub par for me. It literally takes minutes to open after I log in(the only one on my phone to do so). Once opened the useful remote options consistantly freeze. I was charged $1500 for 3 yrs of this? And not by choice, it's on my window sticker. It should perform better. 2 stars is for the layout. It looks nice but Id rather have my $ back.

It does open very slowly and controls are much more clumsy than the older app (holding a button to activate a feature), but I can live with all that. Earlier this week, there must have been an update because remote start continously says "sending" and the button is toned down. Lock and unlock work, but remote start is broken! Android phone with most recent updates from a few weeks ago.

Update has rendered app USELESS. A pop-up appears on the app every time you open it to discuss new features but it will not allow you to advance. Because you cannot get out of the pop-up to access the app it has basically disabled it. Initially I thought it was because of a poor signal but I've tried to access the app at home in the same results occur. Send an email instead of forcing users to a pop-up that doesn't advance. The features aren't that significant. Do better design team. UX is bad

Worked as expected, initially... Not sure if there was an update or what, but now I cannot access any pages in the users manual, main reason I use the app. I can still see the table if contents, but anything I click on just leaves me with a blank screen with nothing to do except close the app. Even swiping 'back' just closes the app for me. Seems like a more simple feature, yet they can't keep it working....

I loved this app the first 4 months of having it. I've now owned my vehicle a year and the app just stopped working. I'm not sure if there was an update or what. When I open the app it will show the control options but the only options available to use are lock and unlock. I live where it's really cold in the winter so being able to start my vehicle wherever I may be without having to be in sight of it is extremely useful. The way the app has been I can't do this.

Hot garbage. Currently this app doesn't work at all. It will play you a lovely film of a truck you don't own looking cool, but you can't unlock your vehicle with it. When it did work, it was so slow and required so much load time that you might as well take the time to find your key instead. Wish they'd stop trying so hard to make it fancy and just make it work.

This app has been a complete waste of time since I got this truck 4 years ago. Sharing with family doesn't work, and as much as I appreciate security, going through the extra dozen steps every time you log on to check something on your truck, and you have to enter in your email address and password, then they email you a code, and you have to do that at least twice. It's such a hassle that I hardly ever even use it anymore, it just turns into an infuriating drawn out or deal

My phone is not connecting to my infotainment system. I Uninstaller the GMC iIntellilink several times with no success. I contacted On Star and they couldn't figure it out. I recently had module replaced in my On Star system and Bluetooth worked Now my phone won't connect. I was instructed to go to dealership. Any suggestions? please help.

This app worked great for 6 months all of a sudden stopped and won't open on my android works fine on apple products. Onstar and gm have sent endless emails about escalating to tech support here 10 days later and no one I have dealt with has a clue and wants to talk to me as if I have zero clue how to operate a phone. Very very frustrated to own a 120k car and their simple app doesn't perform. Figure out the app and send a update to android users!! My phone is indicating app crashes frequently

Firstly, the app stopped showing the DEF level. Then, I noticed that when I simply opened the app, it sent a command to start the vehicle without me pushing the start button, which is very annoying! UPDATE: After a recent update, you have to clear cache and data every time if you want to open the app. Otherwise, you'll catch a loop.

Terrible. Every time I start this app it just opens & reopens to the first page of setting up my vehicle & info, 3 bouncing dots, flash to setting up my vehicle, 3 bouncing dots. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, same thing. Does Not Work! Only reason I have it is so I can start my car from inside my work. Definitely not going to pay for OnStar since this app is terrible!!!!!

Update 6/24: Implementation of the new 2 factor authentication was buggy. Took three tries with an error on the first two attempts. Previous: Used to work great but now breaks connections with Alexa and Google Home. Again and again. So, unable to use voice commands to start, lock, etc. At least the app itself still works. For now...

I just started using the apps few days ago. Overall, I think the app is good. The reason for 4 stars at this time is that the app doesn't tell me, as far as I know, if the doors are unlocked or of the windows are open. To me, this would be basic functionality and very useful user information. Another issue I have, whether it's the app or not, is that I cannot get the Trusted Devices setup. It always says it cannot find my vehicle.

The app was great at first, has progressively gotten worse over time. I can no longer use any of the functionality at all. I noticed there was an update so I installed the update hoping it might start working again. Post update when I opened the app it automatically sent a remote command to start my vehicle. Waste of gas. This app is complete trash at this point. Useless.

This app used to perform well. I can no longer see any tire pressure, oil percentage, fuel level, etc. The only thing that it's good for is starting, locking, and unlocking my vehicle. This has been the case for months!!! Pretty expensive monthly cost, for something that the key fob alone, can do!! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app as well. VERY frustrating!!!!
