The MyHyundai app makes getting information about your Hyundai vehicle easier than ever. The MyHyundai app allows you to access owner resources, schedule service or connect to your Bluelink enabled vehicle from your phone. Bluelink technology enables and empowers you while you are on the go, giving you access to your Bluelink features from your office, at home, or just about anywhere.
Access the app with your MyHyundai.com ID, password and PIN to take advantage of Bluelink’s Remote features. Log in and send commands conveniently using biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition). An active Bluelink subscription is required to use Bluelink features in the app. To renew or upgrade to either Remote or Guidance, please visit MyHyundai.com.

An active Bluelink Remote Package (R) or Guidance Package (G) subscription is required to access select features. Feature support varies by vehicle model. Please visit HyundaiBluelink.com to check what Bluelink features your vehicle supports.

With the MyHyundai app you can:

MyHyundai app also supports Wear OS smartwatch features. Use voice commands or the smartwatch menu to access select features.
With MyHyundai for Wear OS you can:

The MyHyundai app asks for the following device permissions as needed:
• Camera: For adding driver and profile pictures
• Contacts: To select from phone contacts when sending secondary driver invites

• Phone: For placing calls when tapping on buttons or links to call
• Files: For saving PDFs or other downloaded documents to the device
• Notifications: To allow push notification messages from the app
• Biometrics: For enabling fingerprint and/or face recognition for authentication

I have had my car for 5 months and the app was great until about 4 days ago. Now all I get is a message saying the app can't connect to the server. I have done everything to try and get it to work - Uninstall and reinstall twice, reset it in the car, changed password, etc. It worked while I was in after resetting but now is back to the same error. I tried contacting the customer service about 12 hours ago, but no response from them. App is useless at this point.

sadly the my Hyundai blue link app is quite a disaster. The UI and UX are very non-intuitive and the app just feels clunky. overall. not enough confirmations of the action taken. no vibration where there should be uncertain. key presses. The widgets are horrible on Android. They resize poorly. they don't really press properly. It just feels amateurish for a multi billion dollar company. especially with the gold standard of Tesla, they really need to push harder to get there.

I think it's too unreliable. It's extra annoying when it holds a remote start request for over 10 minutes without starting your car for you. I have mobile and wifi, there should be no issue. It also won't let you send different requests at once, like please lock my car if it's remote starting, don't give me some excuse about how you can't do it because its unlocked. A Keychain remote state is superior.

When it works, it's nice. What I don't get is I park in the same location every night, outside with a very clear view to the sky. On the mornings I try to use remote start, my phone is always in the same location of my apt, top floor and 10' from a window. I'm about 70/30 for successful starts and unsuccessful starts where it tells me to make sure it's where a signal can be reached. Just expect more from a paid feature...

App looks nice, functions pretty slowly though. and the widget only displays distance in kilometers, while inside the app shows miles, with no way to change it. It has been a problem for years now apparently, so either it is a difficult fix or Hyundai /dev team doesn't care. For something that is a premium service and costs $$/month it is pretty trash and not worth it at all.

The app is very convenient. I live in Florida so I utilize remote start on a daily basis. My husband and I both have the app for the same vehicle and my complaint is that whoever makes the remote start request does not get the notification that it was successful. So if I start up the car with my phone, my husband gets the notification and vice versa. It doesn't make sense.

Very unreliable. When it works, it takes a long time for commands to process, and the app is not functional during that time. Additionally, it spams requests to input pin code over and over, every time you want to do anything, even if you just put it in 10 seconds previous. This app is amateur, at best, and not acceptable for a professional product in full production.

Good when it works. App used to work excellently. 5 stars. The last couple of months though it's been..."wonky". It's got all the same features, but it's been taking much longer to put through requests (unlock doors, climate start, etc), and outright declining significantly more requests to the point I have been unable to start and preheat my car from the app through this recent cold snap (I live on the West coast so it's cold but not brutal. I didn't used to have a problem.

I like the app. There are a few things I would like to see changed. I would like it if it would autosave my pin. I would also prefer it not turn on the air conditioning when I do my winter warm up, as that is not something I have selected, obviously. But it comes on no matter what (maybe safey thing.) I do the most all features, including lock/unlock warm/cool, location/car details, such as letting you know if it's running, if it's due for service, etc. Many great features, very few negatives

I don't know how this has a 4.7 rating but it's driving me up the wall! I feel cheated to be paying for a broken app and I think all Hyundai owners are been cheated too. Just recently I lost connectivity between the app and my 2019 Santa Fe (it's not the first or second time), reestablished the connection and 2 days later it was lost again. Ever since I started paying a subscription I've had endless problems which were non existent when it was complimentary. Y'all need to fix this.

PLEASE fix the notifications! You should be able to see if the remote start was successful or not without having to open the notifications every time just to check and see. It's frustrating. Realistically the app is a solid 4/5 stars but I'm hoping the devs will see this and fix it. If you guys do, I'll happily change it to 5 stars! Just have the notification start with a bold "SUCCESSFUL" or "UNSUCCESSFUL". I would really appreciate it!

Edit: works now. App is okay (definitely not worth the subscription price). I'm also annoyed that they suddenly pushed the climate control start behind the pin number. I would prefer just using my fingerprint. Also, if you're in a dead cell service zone, this app this useless for car control features because it can't connect to the car. /// I have not been able to log back in for several weeks now. Error says network not available. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I really like the app. However, it is too much like a webpage. I wish they would categorize things a little bit differentl. Example is the front page even though it gives you most of the major options.By the time you scroll down, you have adds to other links to services. Again, it works very well needs to be more like an app for the car. Especially, the first page should just be clean, just whatever you need for the car should be there. The tesla app is a good source reference

I have had my Ioniq 5 since 2022. App has worked great until 6 months ago, Once I would log in it would tell me Something went wrong, but I was able to start my car. Now, the app will NOT open. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and no luck! App immediately crashes. It's getting hot out. I would like to cool my car before I get in after work. (Yes, Hyundai lux life) :) Android-Samsung 24 Ultra Plus. Please fix.

Battery percentage seems accurate now, but then it shows "Charging completed" on the app home screen even though it's not actually done. I also found that there actually is an easy shortcut to the Vehicle Locator on the home page, so I'm adding a star because it's not an issue like I thought it was. Thanks again for the fixes!

The app is alright. It is currently completely broken after updating this morning. Just hangs on the splash screen. I've cleared the app cache and re-installed and nothing. It's pretty much useless right now. Update June 7th: still waiting to hear back from the Apps Team on recommendation from the reply below. The app still appears to be broken.

I was forced to update this app. I updated from the play store as instructed and now the app won't open at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and it still will not open!! Called customer service they issued me a case # and told me that it won't be reviewed for at least 8 days! Very disappointing! The app worked fine before having to update.

This app was working pretty smoothly for the 4 years since I bought my car now it refuses to open and just crashes every time I try to use it. Uninstalled and reinstalled and no difference. Emailed the developer and no response in 5 days. Not even an acknowledgement that it was received and / or being worked on. Really upset about this since I can't use the remote start service I paid for with summer right around the corner.

It's okay, when it actually works. A lot of the information (like mileage and such) isn't always accurate and sometimes when you're looking to lock, unlock or start your car it's a heck of a lot faster just to use the FOB. It also crashes and becomes unusable every time there is an update. By the time it's back up again. There's another update. All in all in could be better but it's not the worst.

Update: as of today 6/14/24 it looks like after reinstalling it is working now. Orig: Worked great until the most recent update on 6/1/24. I pay monthly to have this since the free trial ran out about 7 months ago. Worked smooth with almost zero problems, and then all of the sudden, it updates and completely quits. It won't even allow me to open the app anymore. The phone company said it's the app, not my phone. I have already called, but it still isn't working. I use this daily but can't now.
