The app really doesn't serve a purpose now except just showing the weekly flier; the app coupons are advertised as regular specials in-store and come off with your phone number. It seems like it would be a separate coupon but in fact it's just the same in-store sale now. The confusion isn't helped because the app states that all coupons are only valid for a single product but the in-store has other limits. Very badly communicated.

great app, love that you can see the offers and coupons on the app. You also get access to amazing recipes and you can order your groceries from the app. It has so many great features and is very easy to use! They also send helpful emails about your coupons but it's not an overwhelming amount maybe 1 a week? (you can change that though)

You can use this app to scan a bar code so you don't have to put in your phone number. It's pretty neat that you can shake your phone and the bar code comes up. What's infuriating about using this app is that you shake it, the bar code comes up, and then without fail as you're trying to scan it, another screen pops up explaining how the rewards work. It covers up the bar code. Now you have to close that and try to re-scan. Has anyone on your dev team ever used this app? Get rid of that. I know how rewards work. Everyone knows how rewards work!

I enjoy shopping at Lidels, I have been fortunate enough to save on many products. However, the inventory is not always sufficient as I feel as if I missed the window of opportunity, I have witnessed empty cases of items that are on sale and not have been restocked. Feels like more items are unavailable. Toilet paper, produce, fish. The milk is the best price around! Hopefully the next time I shop I will get there before everything runs out.

Really like this app. It tracks specials and rewards. Allows you to unselct a reward if it doesn't apply to the current purchases in your cart. Also tracks number of purchases and amounts applied towards the next reward and the number of days remaining before it starts over again. Probably the most useless aspect is simply scanning the code at checkout to apply the savings and update your account. I would shop lidl without this app but having it is a definite benefit. No issues to report!!

app so not intuitive; you have to guess what caption to click to find products to add to your grocery list, then if you've successfully guessed , all products (verified from the print ad) are not even included; ideally you should be able to click a product from the weekly ad (should add upcoming ads to this section too) to add to your grocery list + other annoying things like the stuffed cabbage leaves (if you found it to add to your list) comes up as cabbage in produce instead of frozen food..

Simple enough to do the job of presenting weekly ads and coupons. Have a few gripes: - no history of past orders i've made in store, preferably with details of the discounts or coupons I've used with items. - when listing coupons and rewards, it only shows images but doesn't give a title or descriptions with details about the exact product - forgot to apply account to purchase once. Called support to get discount. Said it would be applied to account but never showed

Good app but has the potential to be better with more features. App works great but I would recommend adding a barcode scanner and also add electronic receipts. The cashiers always ask if you want a receipt and I would prefer it on my phone than printed receipt. It would also be great to browse with prices in the app as well. The prices in the store are great so even without any additional features Lidl is still my go to store.

I liked this store a lot and really hoped it would be my new go-to store. Oh well. Their circulars always have a few items you really want and when you get there they're always conveniently sold out. Typical bait-N-switch type scam. Just get them in the door and hope they'll buy other stuff. I'm not falling for it anymore. Also, if you use an EBT card you have to announce it to everyone in line so the checker presses the correct button. That happened the last 6 out of 6 times.

I cannot get the "scan this code at checkout" screen to go away so that I can see anything else for more than a few seconds. It pops right back up. At the store, they did scan the code but weren't able to help me get the app working. From the few seconds I'm able to see before it pops back up, I noticed that my purchase wasn't credited toward my rewards, either. Love the store, but this app is buggy.

There are a couple of problems with the app right now. Once you've added things to your cart it gives you the option to categorize them by aisle so you can find them easily in the store. But when you close out of the app and go back to it later everything in your grocery list uncategorizes itself again. I also hope that at some point the grocery list could show the prices of the items and the total cost the way the Walmart app does. It would make planning our grocery budget a lot easier.

love the app. it's nice to not have to spend time "clipping" digital coupons in order to get the discounts. it would be nice if they gave the option of scanning your receipt, though, because my local store's scanners aren't always working and you don't figure it out until you look at your receipt (which is too late) or specifically ask if the scan of your phone worked.

This app performs well. Searches quickly, responsive, pretty thorough coverage of the entire variety of shopping experiences. I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 because it could use some work on the display. Pictures and screens could be sized better on Samsung Note 9, or permit the display to rotate as the device is rotated. Also would be more useful to permit picture zoom.

Again, I must say I love Lidl! Great store, great prices, great selections. May I ask for another modification to the app? When I view the ad through the app, it would be nice if I could add the item directly to my app grocery list if I take on the item. Right now the only way I can do this is if I look up the products on the "Product Lookup" selection. So what I have to do is look at the ad, make now if what I want to buy, then go back to the product lookup choice. It seems like too many steps.

So-so app. Difficult to manage shopping lists, which need to be a home page button on its own. In it the ability to easily edit & delete are required in order for it to be of any use in the store. I have yet to see a shopper using their phone in store; most rely on good old fashioned paper. That said, even though I have to drive more than 45 minutes, passing Shop Rite, Acme, & Aldi, I prefer Lidl! The quality & prices are the BEST! PLEASE BUILD MORE STORES.

Great food and prices. the grocery list could be better. I would like it to sort into categories such as frozen, refrigerated, produce, bakery and pantry so that it doesn't matter what order the items were added. it would also be helpful to see a picture of the item or see more of a description without having to click to expand each item. the other features work well. fix the grocery list part and it is a 5 star app.

I like the app so far. I like the coupon feature. I don't have to worry about clipping coupons because they are digital. Nonetheless, I wish there were more coupons.I like the grocery list feature because it helps me keep track of what to purchase. However, I suggest including prices for the items. I like the recipes feature to look up various recipes. Additionally, I like the reward feature. On the other hand, I do highly suggest a purchase history feature to scan my receipts.

I love the app and the shopping at the store. It is great to have the ads for more then 1 week at a time. I "did" love the coupons and ability to create a shopping list but those both have suddenly stopped working and I keep waiting for a "fix" or update that hasn't happened. I have been waiting months..... So basically the app is only good for seeing the ads for me now.

** Added more info - the app doesn't have where you can add your missed receipt. I spent over $100. Called number on receipt, was sent an email saying it would take two weeks to show up it's been over a week. It should be easy since you have a picture of the receipt. Plus it doesn't have your purchase history. Other than that, it's a great app. Original: It shows available in the app, but at the store it's sold out or never arrived

Pretty healthy UX, except for not being able to escape from a rewards animation, and coming from a picky UX Designer, this is a very good thing. very easy to use, gives me all the features I need with nothing I don't. I love how simple and helpful this little app is. I use it every week when planning my groceries, and it's easy to use in the store, especially for pulling up my loyalty ID.
