This app is horrible I've done just aybout everything to keep my aids connected no luck have to reconnect them every other day the original app was great. I've done support a couple of times changed all kinds of stuff on my phone lasted for about 3 days and went right back to the way it was and as many bad reviews I've readyou think they would try to fix it......nope

Don't know what happened in the last month but this app now frequently disconnects. I need to power off and power on the aids and often restart my phone when I use it for another WiFi or Bluetooth app. It's become a real pain. I suspect there's a connect problem between the 'R-Phonak' BT connection and the low energy 'R & L' pairing. Previous 5 star post: This app has been significantly improved. It is much more user friendly.

They ruined the phonak experience with this so called upgraded app. Randomly crashes requiring removal and reinstalling the full app. Quite frequently will only connect to one hearing aid requiring a restart. Locks you out when you need to change modes (ie restaurant mode). Fails when you need it most. So they want me to reset everything so I can use their app that was never properly tested before publishing.

I would give negative stars if that was an option. The app connects & disconnects all day. Further, my phonak hearing aid won't adjust manually when the app is doing that, so I now have an useless piece of plastic in my ear instead of something helping me to hear. Will absolutely be trying to return & get a different manufacturer. Don't waste your time or money here.

This app sucks. Sometimes, it works, but frequently, it will disconnect. Frequently, it will be connected, but then disconnects. Very, very, extremely frustrating. The developer needs to correct the problems. For pete sake, this app should not work so extremely intermittently. I wish there were another app I could use with my Phonak hearing aids. 05-24-2024: This app still is terrible. It continually disconnects and then will not reconnect after several tries.I will probably uninstall it.

I've had my hearing aides for 1 month and bluetooth connection doesn't work. I have followed all the instructions numerous times, Turning the hearing aides on/off, disconnect from app and phone, turning my phone on/off uninstalling the app, and reinstalling app. I've been able to connect to both hearing aides 3-4 times since I started using them. Most of the time only one connects. On the rare occasion they both synch, when I turn the hearing aides off at night, they never reconnect.

Just got a new galaxy S24 phone and this app works a bit better than it did on my old galaxy S9. I have daily connection issues and have to force stop and clear cache, at least once a day. It's annoying. Hearing aid chimes every time it connects or disconnects to Bluetooth. It's the hearing aid itself, not an alert from my phone! It's annoying when at the edge of connectivity because it keeps chiming repeatedly. Apparently no way to turn that off.

If I could give negative stars I would. This app is the worse. It disconnects all-day long and if you change a setting it doesn't stay changed but for a minute. Volume goes loud af from time to time and I'm always getting a hiss. I'm glad I didn't buy these. I'm callingvthe VA and getting new ones. Try a different brand. They do work good when they work. I have the Audeo L90 R. They're flagship model and have all these issues. I'm trying to reconnect now again!

My hearing aids often won't connect to the app, which is very frustrating. I follow EXACTLY all the recommended steps when it happens, and the problem persists. I never had this problem with my previous hearing aids app. The inconsistency is ridiculous. I have zero issues with other devices connecting to my phone. I thought my previous phone might have been the problem, but I now have a brand new Samsung S24 Ultra, and the problem continues.

I love the way this app can cut back the background noise. However, It will not stay on a setting and it loses the connection to the hearing aids at least 6 times a month. I followed their FAQs in unpairing everything along with uninstalling and resetting the app. Many times taking well over an hour. A new cellphone didn't help. They apologized and said they know of nothing else I could try. Luckily, these are from the VA and they know of this issue and are going to give me something different.

Would be nice if the app held the volume level that we set inside the app. Sucks that every single time I get a call or put my hearing aids in I have to readjust the volume for both sides. Please fix this issue. I hate having to go into the doctor just for default volume setting. Oh I have only had these a day and I'm not convinced the app helps with anything other than making me lose my mind. Not only does it decide randomly to change one volume level to the other at random.

The app, when it works properly, is great. However, that is not gonna happen all the time as constant disconnects occur. I have had to turn off call capability from my phone to my hearing aids just so my hearing aids can stay connected on a regular basis. I have fully uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well as completely reset my bluetooth connection. (And yes, my phone's bluetooth is fully connected to the hearing aids). 1 star until bug is fixed

The latest update is horrible. I can no longer cycle through programs using the button on the devices. If I try to change programs in the app, it starts randomly cycling through programs and changing to dual volume and back and changing volume levels all on its own. Makes the hearing aids more of a liability than (an expensive) benefit. Update: In response to Sonova AG response on 3/18/24. I did all that. Plus uninstalled and reinstalled myPhonak and re-paired and set up my account again. No go.

When it works, it is very nice, and the app gives you a lot of options to manage your hearing aids. When the connectivity is lost, it is usually difficult to reconnect, and you will need to have your phone "forget" the hearing aids. Then you can start over to reconnect. It is inconvenient, and you can plan on spending 10 minutes each day fighting with it.

Bluetooth seems to be a real problem with this app, the developers need to fix it and not just say we'll look into it. I have a pair of Samsung ear buds and NEVER have an issue with bluetooth! FIX IT! I continue to have issues with the app not connecting to bluetooth, I have tired the recommended settings of turning off all notification tones and yet it continues to disconnect constantly from bluetooth. This isn't some app that doesn't matter if it won't connect this for my hearing and safety!

Terrible app. Rarely connects to hearing aids. Usually disconnects when phone activated (e.g. text message received). Customer Service says to uninstall/reinstall. So, I must do that each time I want to use the app? Rubbish! Answer to customer service: yes, I use stay connected. Engaged with customer service many times. Go look up the service tickets. App disconnects every time phone gets text or any other change to phone status. The app is absolutely terrible!

This last update was horrible. To be fair, it stays running in the background and connected between my phone and hearing aids. But the app is now a frustrating mess. If I go more than a few days opening the app, it sends me to a log in website (exceedingly frustrating when all I want to do is checky hours of wear), then once it logs in it struggles to sync and update my wear times. There are HUGE gaps in time that there is NO DATA for wear time, and I wear the hearing aids all day..

I'm having major issues with Bluetooth when playing music, constantly kicking in and out. I have completely cleared the app and Bluetooth and paired them again. I have gone to the audiologist, and they contacted customer service. They stated that to make all kinds of changes to my phone setting. Sound ,buttons, and so on. It's very frustrating that I have to accommodate my phone to the app. The app should accommodate my phone. At this point, I would not recommend this app to anybody. I deleted

While my phone and hearing aid sync. The app will not initialize. This happens quite frequently and I have to re-pair just to get the app to work. Very frustrating. It is nice to control the settings through the app sometimes I don't use the app and just use the native settings. Also I was able to use Bluetooth streaming for phone calls and certain apps on my phone and it no longer works after reinstalling the app to re-pair the hearing aid. Please spend some effort to improve the app.

Initially, these aids were good, but after a few months, one of them started acting up. It would suddenly just stop amplifying. I've tried replacing the wax guard with no success. Occasionally the aid will start working properly, but I can't figure out what triggers that. Sometimes, I can hear sound on that side, but increasing the volume doesn't have any effect. In addition, the app changes from individual control to dual control if I open any other apps.
