My points is one of the easiest ways to earn free money. I usually redeem my points for Starbucks gift cards but occasionally save up for a big purchase at a department store. The only downside is that the surveys are sometimes difficult to complete. Customer service responses are usually top-notch and they fix occasional problems with points being earned.

The customer service responses are inadequate, and the app fails to link to mobile purchases for point accrual. To earn points for phone transactions, users are required to consistently go online and submit requests along with screenshots. This process is cumbersome. While shopping on my laptop through Walmart, Mypoints recognizes the site for potential points. However, this feature does not apply when using the Walmart app on my phone.

I finally installed the app. Other than getting messages about my activity and available points nothing really new to me. But the surveys online don't work again after working for 28 days! All those reCaptcha ones won't work even after getting to the next screen. I waste time trying, hoping it will work again. The Cint ones do work and I can actually qualify for some. I hope it goes back to the former setup and I can take surveys again

I usually do the Daily To-Do's list. This app allows me to do that as well as purchases through affiliated venders. I know that alot of android phones don't have the "Back" button anymore to mimic the iPhones, but I still activate the one in my android phone and use it all the time. I have tap on the "Back" button twice to go to the previous page making navigating annoyingly tedious.

Overall, the concept is good, primarily the survey part of it. The games portion, I would like to see more variety and more tailored to games I already play. That ways I'm not just installing a bunch of new games. The receipt portion and the shopping, I haven't really got the hang of it yet. So, I will have to learn more. Also, the redemption part. Why does it take a few days whereas Survey junkie, you get your gift card almost immediately when you redeem your points?

Great app, Ive been a member of MyPoints for almost 10 years now, and I have redeemed my points several times for gift cards to some of my favorite retailers. The only reason i took 1 star away is because i find it difficult to shop when i click through the links to the stores while using the app instead of the website. When shopping, if you hit the back button it takes you back to the mypoints app instead of the previous page you were on on the retailer's site, so you have to start over.

Often get error messages when trying to scan receipts for points. It also often doesn't recognize items on your receipts. Other receipt apps are much easier than this one. Mypoints requires you to go through and select the items first, then scan when others are just a quick scan. Update: More often than not, app doesn't recognize when high point items are purchased.

This app works so much better than it used to. It still freezes on me once in a while but the good outweighs. I really like that it is easy to do this on the go now. I do still hate the problem with accidental pushing of buttons when trying to hit continue on surveys and it kicks you to new page. But it is also part of operator error too. Fat finger syndrome. Thank you for fixing your app and I will recommend.

I'm hesitant to download this a fourth time. Every time I do, I try to sign in and get stuck in an endless sign-in loop. So I uninstall, reinstall, and try again. Same result. If I hadn't been a MyPoints user practically since the day they launched, I'd have given up long ago. The site works great on my laptop, but I don't always have that with me. I've lost out on so many points it's ridiculous and annoying, especially since I've told lots of people about MyPoints over the years.

I think it would be great if some new deals were added. I can't do the expensive ones and the few inexpensive ones I have already done. There should be more 5 to 80 point ones so that I can qualify to fill a square on bingo board. and some deals are outdated. Unless you have used the app for quite a long time I know it is confusing. It has improved a bit over years but I still have difficulty at times. I still feel it is one of best for earning more rewards quickly.

It's nice that you're not always being taken to new tabs for everything. It works well though the zoom in bar on the bottom of the screen never goes away, something which probably won't bother others but I find very annoying. And you can't really do the extra stuff on it, like bingo or the 7-day challenge and you can't upload receipts through it, so it's mostly for surveys and points perks.

The app sends me push notifications, but when I click on them for their daily Point Perks, nothing shows up anymore but a blank page. If I try to tap anything, I get a notification telling me that the app keeps crashing. Unrelated to the app, as someone below mentioned, MyPoints is hardly worth it anymore. The emails rarely give you click-through points. I've bought things through their offers twice and never received the points for them.

Despite all of the updates, nothing was done about the broken video links in surveys, which then leads to disqualification. Also, the "Content Discovery" tab under "Earn points from Discover" no longer works on the app and the point reward has been reduced from 3 to 1. It's just become a huge pain to use the app since it doesn't work half the time.

The points and transfer of money to PayPal is legit. I have lost points during surveys when I was almost to completion. Some offers are okay, but the "playing games" I've gotten from Play Store, played intensely for over a week & couldn't reach level for points. I get $10 now & again from scanning receipts, buying a few featured products & some surveys that go through as well as lower points for attempting survey for which I don't qualify. There is a limit to how many receipts you can scan.

I love Mypoints for starters. But... when you updated the app the last time it refuses to open no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall it. I have sent messages to Google regarding it as well, but nothing has worked. It would be nice to get it working again. I hate that I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling just to hit the log in to Mypoints App to do list item. UPDATE: everything fixed after last update. Good job!

This is one of the most frustrating apps I've used. The shopping part used to be bad but it's gotten better. If a survey says it's going to take 8 min you'd better plan for 20. Can't tell you how many times I've spent 5+ minutes answering questions just to be told I don't qualify & get 1 point. One time I spent over 20 min doing a survey, hit the final button and got told not every survey is a winner and was given 1 point. Games are good but I got screwed on big points because of completion time

Update: They fixed whatever the issue was that made the app unusable. After a few months of having it uninstalled, I tried again, and it works. I cannot take surveys in the app, instead it just takes me home on the app. But glad it works again. Also wish there was a way to access score through the app or through mobile devices in general. It was okay, now won't even open. Just force closes constantly.

New feature, "magic receipts" sucks. Rejecting perfectly good receipts and CS making it harder to submit tickets or dispute them. When you have an issue and you need to dispute a receipt so it can be reviewed it is so hard to get a hold of them you have to jump through hoops literally to do so and it started off as five points per receipt, then went to 3 points and now it's down to two, so it just keeps going down oh and all of that with no communication.

Rachel Morgan

When you scan a receipt, you can only get ten items for points. That is, if your scan is "readable", which fails more often than not (other apps do better about scanning!), and if your items clear. The 3 points for any item generally work, but be prepared to contact customer service for ANYTHING involving more points. I NEVER qualify it seems for surveys. Be prepared to take a really long time to cash out your points!

The latest update about the magic receipts is no longer true. Now, the receipt must have a barcode! But nearly nine out of ten receipts don’t have a barcode! So nearly none can be submitted. I don’t understand why, it was so easy before, just take a picture and submit, then it’s done. But now you need to select stores, categories, etc. It’s just wasting time, and after you select everything, it just tells you there’s no barcode. So in the end, it ends up being useless.
