Very simple to install and get going with quickly: syncs easily with your contacts, has a clear breakdown of call rates before you start and very good customer service who responded promptly. It is ideal to make international calls from your own country for a cheaper fee. Not made for use when travelling to make international calls.

It used to be greate app, but in the last 5 to 6 weeks I started experiencing a weird behavior: after talking to the number I dialed for about 5 min, a loop will play back to me the conversation I had from the beginning, while it's charging me for talking. I need to stop the call and redial again to have another 5 to 7 min talk before the loop starts again. It will be great if the technical team could troubleshoot this issue and fix it.

Worst service ever. They make the international calls through a local number, so they charge you twice, from your credit with them, and also from making the local call. And then, after calling, the call disconnects after a few seconds, and you have to call again. Also, the call and sound quality is very bad. NOT recommended at all.

App is great except for the fact that when making international calls to a mobile phone, they deduct both your local airtime and your credits which you purchased on the app. Your local airtime isn't deducted only if you are calling a landline. A fact that isn't disclosed until you start loosing your local airtime plus your purchased credit and then contact support😣. lines are clear, relatively cheap and support respond time quick

Whilst the app is generally good, there are some irritating things happening... 1. I often cannot use "Contacts" to dial numbers, as the number won't connect, even though the number is formed correctly. Instead I have to revert to "My Tello" and "Recent Calls" to dial. 2. Often calls don't connect, particularly at busy periods around 5pm / 6pm.

Clear sharp calls to both landlines & mobiles. And best of all, the funds do not expire. Had this account for 3 months now (and another one to use when in Europe). Never an issue. Cheaper than my international plan on my landline which I plan to cancel. Any question I had got answered within minutes, no matter in which time zone I was.

Works very well with clear international connections. No problem with reloading money. The only issue for me is that the connection will cut off at 30 minutes forcing me to redial the number to continue the conversation. It's not a huge problem but that's the reason for a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars. Thank you!

I tried Rebtel first because it had a much better rating in Google store, but it didn't work. I tried Mytello and it worked great. I made two calls, both got connected quickly and the connection quality was good too. I thought it'd be fair to leave them a 5 star review.

I'm based in the UK and used this app whilst travelling to Brazil. I had been using my phone for work and had run up a few hundred pounds on my 02 contract before I found this app. After I found Mytello, I have being able to make calls at a fraction of the cost of using O2. I wish I had found this app sooner and could not recommend it highly enough.

Its pretty good replacement for skype. Uses my number as caller id which is a bonus. I would give it 5 stars but there are somethings I dont udnerstand, does it use my phone minutes or wifi connection? I couldnt find a good answer on how to make it use wifi only or if it does this by default. There also seems to be a bit of lag when first connecting (it takes awhile to ring though which is fine), but its the 1-2 second lag when speaking which is annoying. but overall bets replacement I find

Disappointing experience — feels like a scam. I tried using my free call, but it got cut off midway. I then purchased 250 THB credit, hoping it would work better, but after paying, I couldn’t even get a call through, it kept getting rejected for no clear reason. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this app.

This app actually is good only because the fees is the cheapest. For connections issues...so so... Either cannot get through or signal trouble which is understandable but one thing I encountered that if the balanced is more than 6.88usd ..the calls can passed through very easily, the voice is clear ...but when the balanced going down below that amount ..gosh ..it's take years to pass through ..n always revert to an operator n still cutting off my fees ...so I give only two stars ..sorry..

Serious issues with this app. I call a land line in the uk. The connection was terrible and I had requested a complete refund; no harm no foul. They refused the refund, stating they would reroute the connection and refund my account. Note, not a cash refund, just an adjustment to my account balance. Now, I cannot connect as the other party cannot hear the phone ring when I call. I verified this by placing a call with a different service, voila, no issues. At this point a refund would be in orde.

I have been using this for almost a year now and it is a good way to make calls overseas at a lower cost but it takes a while before I could go through and minutes is already running and sometimes the quality is bad it gets disconnected. I don't know if it is about my data but earlier when I still have 1.51 credit, it wouldnot allow me to make a call and I cannot top up right now. nothing shows when I choose mode of payment. Now I am facing issue on on getting cut off after a few seconds.

I downloaded Mytello on my Samsung phone to make calls to Canada from Argentina and it was a very good experience. It's just like making a normal phone call for cheap, just put money in your account with a credit card. Downloading the App was simple and fast, no bugs, no adds.

Be aware if you are new to these calling apps like me. They charge you for calling a local number and if you don't have free minutes or calling you get charged big time. I topped up $10 but my call to Germany cost me an extra $10 because I didn't know about the hidden fees. I don't have free calling. The app was so easy to use I didn't read the FAQ page where it stated this. No warnings before making the call and doesn't say anywhere else this would happen. Otherwise the connection was good.

So far, worked exactly as described! I used it to call a company's toll-free number in USA, dialed the corresponding local number, got connected without problems. 28 minute call cost me 1€! Via my local contract this would have cost me 3€/minute! Only very small issue is that there was a 0.5 to 1 second "lag" in the conversation, but for this price, I won't complain.

I have downloaded the app, but when trying to sign up I get the answer "too many tries, try again later" by the first attempt. I have contacted MyTello and was told to try to sign up on another phone. I tried to sign up on another phone, but still get the same answer. Seems that this app doesn't work for all!
