this app really deserved 5 stars for it's uniqueness, equalizer, etc etc but ever since i did a firmware update (s9+ went to the Samsung one ui) The app has been glitching. the worst thing that is happening as i type is my music stops randomly.... it happens maybe 2x in a 10 minute internal, so 2 or 3 songs which is very annoying. idk if the app isn't supported anymore or what but it's the app compatibility to the new ui, i used my tidal to make sure it's not my devices and it's the app.

Just REFUSES to load my music now. Rescan and nothing. Move it to a new folder and I select, nothing. It was working great last week. Worked for years now is just taking up stoarge space. I paid for the unlock years ago, no clue whats going on. Other music players work N7 doesnt even detect it. I did nothing on my end to cause this. Same phone, same folders. It choose to screw up

Changed my review due to the devs stopping development on this app. No updates for a year and on the new android it constantly crashes when not active on the screen. Overall the design was great until the devs messed up it up. Now after you search for a song there's literally no way to go back. You have to reload the app just to search again! The playlists it saves aren't exportable either. I paid money for the full version too and it seems they just ran away with my money soon afterwards.

Recent update is a shambles! It's nearly impossible to listen to an audiobook, because every time you stop it goes back to the beginning, despite having the setting for "resume" correctly set. Also had to completely reinstall to get it to work at all after last update. Hope fixes are in the works. It was a great app until recently.

Hey I am a long time user and im finaly editing this review. I'll try to be brief. This app is stylish and it has sorting options that I really like. Last I checked it did not support multi disk albums properly. I listen to the same songs alot. Eventualy I noticed that if I switched between music apps and played the same song with a flat EQ on both it sounded totally different. N7 player seems to do something to the sound that other apps don't. My songs just sound worse here, by alot.

***UPDATE*** After most recent update, I get the same message asking me to transfer my art and mp3 locations and there's no reasonable way to do this. As such, I can't edit album/song tags any longer and also cannot update any album art. I have an "open ticket" with the app creator and will update my rating based on their response. As of right now, I'm about ready to ditch this app forever Cool, fun, & hyper-functioal! By far, the best mp3 player/tag editor I have found (& I've tried them all)!

Like the title says. It's great! Tried many other players before and none seemed to be as good as N7. Update 9-12-19. I've updated the app hoping the app would stop pausing randomly. I was a little disappointed it wasnt fixed as this was my main music player and the best as of a few months ago. It's on a Galaxy S10+. Update 9-25-19 Uninstalling, keeps pausing and crashing. N7 was a good player for the majority of 5 or 6 years. The player will pause almost every song being played.

The player and its library capabilities are nice. Love that I'm not marketed to and notified of things constantly. This is mostly why I picked this player (No marketing and ads). However, 2 annoyances are: 1) the music doesn't stop if you close the app. Especially annoying when it starts on it's own for whatever reason and you have to go search for the app on your phone then hit pause. 2) the app navigation is quirky. Not very fluid.

A very good music player for large music libraries. Use it daily. Needs better playlist editing tools, but once you get used to what it does have you can manage. The automatic All Music playlist is good. But, I'm not a fan of the ALL CAPS style used for playlist names. Hint. Better keep names short or they go right off the screen (no wrapping). Try it out. It has a very cool interface for a well organized music library.

I like the interface of this app and it's ability to hold a large quantity of music files. I really wanted it to work for me. I even bought the app after the trial period trying to make it work. However there are a few issues I'd like to point out. Shuffle all songs ends up putting songs in an alphabetical order play list so if you have the same song multiple times across various albums for the same artist it will play that multiple times in a row, not really what shuffle is about. Try as I may I could not get the Bluetooth track tagging to appear on my car stereo display while many other music apps on my phone display tag information on my stereo without issue. These two items were a deal breaker for me, even after I'd paid for the app. I reached out to the developers over FB Messenger to see if I was missing a setting or using it incorrectly with no reply. One desirable enhancement that I've been unable to locate on any music app would be to allow the app to stay awake all of the time (like google directions or waze). This would be useful in the car.

Updated review [version 3]: Was an excellent app to begin with. The 10 band equalizer is still fantastic and is excellent at enhancing the quality of the listening experience (although I highly recommend tweaking it to suit your own tastes since the presets aren't particularly good). Unfortunately, the bugs in the app are worse than ever, and the developer is making no effort to fix them. 😡 Creating, saving, and managing playlists has improved with version 3. However, the app is still unstable – crashing frequently for no apparent reason. 👎

I've been using this app for years, including the paid version. One of the smoothest interfaces, simply organized by album cover. I kid you not, whenever my friends open up this app in the car, they are blown away by how beautifully the music is presented when compared to other apps. The advanced features are also exceptional, and that's coming from someone who has been producing music for a decade now. Love this app, excellent work n7!

The way the albums are displayed is unique and makes it easier to look through your catalog. However, the app is way too slow and buggy. It takes time to load, and then takes time to do the simple task of adding a song to a Playlist... which, by the way, is buggy as heck. They don't sync properly and I have been trying to delete a Playlist forever and it does not do it. I even went to the Playlist folder and deleted it there but it still shows up. It does not handle Playlists well.

Loved this app at first during the trial, then paid for the full version, and within an hour or so of using it at a sports event tailgate, it stopped working. Tried force closing it to no avail, using it after about a half hour of not using it, and just now couldn't even get folders to open it hours later, at home, on my wifi (not that an internet connection is even necessary to use it). Could not be more disappointed and expect my $4 to be refunded.

I downloaded 20 different apps trying to find one that sounded the best. I compared them all with the same song and this one won. the only thing I do not like is that tag screen. It's too messy and jumbled for me. But everything else is awesome and if you're interested in sound quality. This is it. Sep 15, 2019 I would like to add something, If you like to crank it up, this app has the highest output of any other app I have tried. You just have to play with the EQ settings to find the right one.

The only problem with this player is that it doesn't respond to commands from any kind of Bluetooth device. I've tested it with my zolo liberty plus headphones, also with a taotronics Bluetooth receiver and even with my JVC car Bluetooth media receiver. N7player doesn't respond to any Bluetooth commands, not even a simple play/pause. And yes, I've enabled headset controls in settings of application. What is the solution?!

It doesn't work after asking me to migrate. I have one folder on my sd card that I've used for years. I can manually navigate to it in My Files and select individual songs to play in n7 just fine. However, the directory scanner in n7 itself keeps saying there are no files... It's the only way I've listened to music for 10 or so years now so please fix this or allow me to rollback.

An unbelievably great look. If you're having problem with album artwork or no URL. I find easiest way to correct this is. Uninstall the app. Then go into files. You have to. Manually erase N7player files because uninstalling the app does not do that you'll have the same problem. Then use album art changer to find all album covers. Lastly then reinstall n7player app and everything should look great.

Great sound options, great interface and theme options. Just wish it had native cast support, Toaster Cast is garbage. Update: sadly, I have to remove another star due to the fact that I just bought a new car, and N7 doesn't support Android Auto. I really like N7, but I think I might have to start looking elsewhere for my main media player.

Good product, but no customer support. I was having technical issues with the app and contacted the support email, but had no response yet so far for several months. I ended up figuring out the issue on my own. So, as long as the app is working, it's a great product. Don't bother trying to contact the developer via the support email.
