Love being able to choose my music from huge library. Not having any playback issues. Stable and reliable. Can create my own playlists and mix songs for playback. Has sleep function. Have used the service for over a decade. Can usually find any song in their library. Not having any problems at all with the app. Not sure why others are. Best app I've come across that allows total control over your music. Gives you access to nearly any music any time. Love the service.

I have used this app for many years with no complaints. My complaints: Now, the GIFs on playlists have been taken away, and now I can't even upload a photo to the playlist. The GIFs or photos on playlists makes it so much easier to navigate through them. Songs are disappearing from playlists. I was listening to one playlist on Saturday, and all of the songs were there. On Sunday, several songs were no longer there. Im seeing playback failed or no longer streaming.

Enjoyable, for the most part. But it's very annoying how tracks and even entire albums will disappear from my library without warning. And when tracks suddenly stop playing, for no reason at all. (I have been on Napster for several years. All of the above have been issues for as long as I have used this app. I doubt Napster will ever get around to fixing whatever is causing the problems.)

The primary features of creating playlists and playing music is fine. However, you can't sort playlists once they have been created based on criteria (song title, artist name, album, etc.). You can individually drag and drop tracks (not a scalable solution). I have been a customer since the service was called "Rhapsody" and it had this feature. Not sure why Napster doesn't support. The "Remove Duplicates" feature also seems to have disappeared.

Things I like: Playlists and suggestions based on what I've listened to. Great selection. No ads or interruptions. Performance has gotten better! Things I dislike: The constant playlist maintenance drives me insane. Songs will cease playing that were fine a few days ago. Whole albums stop working randomly that require replacing at the end of the playlist with, as far as I can tell, the same album, or vanishing altogether - never with any warning.

love the variety of music and ease of use. However, while streaming or listening to downloaded music, it will just stop playing all on its on and seems to be getting worse. ive had Napster for a long time back when it was Rhapsody, but if the issue doesn't get fixed im gonna cancel my subscription. $10 a month for an app that i have constantly hit the play button because it won't do right.

Undoubtedly the worst performing app on my phone. The service itself is great, lots of good music to choose from and explore, but the app fails at least 30% of the time. Either I get "error please try again" when accessing my library or an artists page, or it plays seconds of a track and skips to the next one. Some songs just don't play anymore ever, and right now, it's skipping from one track to the next all the way through to the end of an album without playing anything. Napster Crapster.

This streaming service has declined since it became "Napster". Subscriber since 06 or 07. Total frustration. tracks disappear into the ether, being logged out constantly, and absolute HORRID windows desktop player won't resize to fit my needs and has few controls or features. Recommendations are totally off base and new music discovery is not tailored at all. Please don't try and butter my buns with "support", I wouldn't keep it if you offered it free for life. Shame ☹️ - I'm done with it.

The app is great for listening to music on the go, however, there isn't a way to make a payment in the app, and you have to go through hell and high water trying to access the site to pay. Now, I'm stuck without my Playlists until they decide to run the payment method again. 🤦🏿♂️ Update: They finally took the money out of my account, but when I tried logging in, now it's telling me I have to pay, AGAIN, and the amount has increased! I'ma about to cancel my subscription and move on.

I really want to like Napster but it needs more refinement. The music discovery features are awful and the app is light on options. Why are albums not in chronological order? Why are so many Napster playlist only 1 song long? Why isn't song history easy to find or fully accurate? Why where are the ACTUAL curated releases like Amazon Music? Even TREBEL has more features and that is completely free. Copy your competitors.

(11/23) Sometimes songs that I have downloaded suddenly stop playing. The app says playback error, and then the song is gone from my library... Just updated the app and all my downloaded songs are gone... (2/24) music library eventually downloaded. Still get playback errors on songs I have downloaded. Go to re-add those songs to playlists; takes forever for them to show up in the playlist... Also, your generic apologies don't mean anything to customers. Just find bugs and respond when fixed.

I'm so sick of this bs. You guys keep signing me out of my account and when I put in the correct info, you say I'm wrong. (I've checked multiple times and it is in fact, the correct info). No matter what I do, it doesnt fix itself. Additionally, it deletes some of my downloaded music without warning. Stop updating if all your gonna do is make the app worse. Also, stop deleting music from artists. You do that all the time to talented artists who are small. STOP.

Revised down to 2 stars. The app seems to require a login every time now, and it won't log in when offline like on an airplane. This is a serious flaw. Excellent streaming music app. The subscription also works on my Windows computers, so it's a full service solution.

Better than Rhapsody used to be. But I'm constantly being logged out on my old phone that acts only as a music player. I'll go to play my downloaded music on a long drive until I find I was logged out and I can't use the app till I connect to wifi again. What's the point of downloading playlists when I can listen to them until I connect to wifi?

.. update ...wrecked my playlists. ...songs did not reload properly/and/or at all. Update: it's now Jan 2024. I kept this app since my Playlists were messed up in Oct. Napster changed how to manage playlists which makes it difficult to do on the spot. I may as well recreate them all. On a different streaming app. 3/6/2024-Last update definitely missed the mark. Please put back the editing choices so we can manage play lists more efficiently. Not sure why you'd ever take them away

I've had this app for several years and, if it weren't such a pain to switch I would have done it already. This app will constantly sign you out, and you won't have access to even the predownloaded songs until you can log back in. Hopefully you're not driving when it happens. I'll be switching to Spotify when I have the time to get my playlists sorted. This app SUCKS and I'm over the aggravation that it gives me on a weekly basis. They've had me since 2018 and have chosen not to improve the app.

App is getting to be a joke...Doesn't have a lot of music/albums that I USED to have on there..For instance, I just went to listen to a song that I saved to My Music months and months ago. It's gone and I can't even find it in Search. And I download songs, but then later, when I go to listen to them, only half of the song gets played. I'm switching to Spotify as soon as I get all my music and lists saved.

I've been with Napster since they bought out the great company Rhapsody. Napster is getting to be absolutely unusable. "Our server is down. We are so sorry for the inconvenience. " Yeah. Sure, they are.. My bill doesn't reflect the weeks I couldn't access the app. Constant log outs, destroyed playlists, songs becoming unplayable, almost no radio edits available, and it just keeps getting worse. Currently looking elsewhere for downloading music. I'm over it.

I set the app to unrestricted battery use but there's no audible music after a few seconds to a couple minutes--despite the app showing the music is playing. Or music stops/freezes half way through every song. And I can't see or add the app to the Sleeping, Never sleeping, or Deep sleeping list of apps--THE ONLY app that isn't listed to add to those settings. May 2024 update: Having to sign in everytime I use the app is extremely annoying and inconvenient. Is this an app or website? 1 star.

Unable to do this any longer. Been with Rhapsody since 2010. Can no longer play songs on the same playble album. Cleared cache, adjusted firewall, cleared data, even downloaded full albums for offline use. The responses I get seem to be automated. Exploring other options and taking advantage of free trials to test their stability. Miss the old rhapsody. 😪 UPDATE: Never fixed the problems. Tried Spotify for 3 months and made the switch. Canceled Napster. Man, couldn't make it to 15 years.
