Had minimal problems with the app. Was able to navigate through, watch games, and cast with little to no problems, unless I got a call or had to exit at which point it would error and had to force stop & reopen it. Then today it crashed and will not open. Have reinstalled it several times with same results.

Ads, we R ambushed daily some of us thousands of times a day. Many of us play Android games to get away from ads and distractions that we can not (or can) see. Yes, the ground up from thought to completion of an app cannot be easy or cheap. We come to play games not watch something that doesn't need to be. Many good games don't have Ads or long download times. As you may know, this application can be designed without Ads. More downloads, less bs.

I pay for a provider. Sign into that provider and then still get a commercial every minute? Terrible app. Edit: this review is from last year and still stands. None of the problems have been fixed. Still way too many ads even after you sign in through provider. The fast break thing where it claims you can see all the games at once is a lie as well. You click on it and it only goes to 1 game. Thought they would fix it by now but nope

So terrible this year (I have an android smart tv). Keeps having an update when I open the app. My remote stops working and I have to use the remote app on my phone. When I choose a game it starts with this dumb pip/stat screen ( who would ever want that?). It won't let you go full screen when there is ad playing, only during game play. Then when you do go full screen another ad plays, and then there are still the other game scores displayed on bottom of the screen... Really bad.

Keeps lagging. Every other app works great on my TV so it's not the WiFi. This one just sucks. I even logged in with my provider. Still this app pauses every few seconds for no reason. If it's going to keep lagging I'd rather decrease the resolution. Would prefer lower res if it meant I could stream without hiccups. Unfortunately that's not an option. Oddly the commercials run without pausing every few seconds. Wish I didn't have to install another app just to watch the games.

Horrible experience on Chromecast Google TV. Video glitches every 10-15 sec. Sometimes have to force close app to even get it to start playing a game. Can watch videos on Prime Video app and Disney+ app without any problems. 170 Mbps download speed. The app is the problem, not the device or internet. The sign-in process is glitchy too. Finally got it to work but wasn’t fun. Poor app.

I had 4 bars on my iPad! W/4 bars lost video every minute. So the app will not start back up until you hit the start button. Game pops up for 1 sec, then a 15 sec commercial runs fine. Funny thing, the commercials rarely lose connection. Game comes back on. Runs for a few secs then it all repeats again. I saw no more than 7 minutes of the game and the rest was watching never ending commercials. Bird commercial, 20+ times, werewolf, 14+ times, on and on! Pitiful app! Sold out for the $$$!

I've been using this app all afternoon (casting to my Chromecast) and it repeatedly stops the stream and breaks the connection with my Chromecast & the app freezes and requires a restart. Also, a LOT of buffering. It's not great, but if you're desperate, it's alright because all of the games are in one spot. I hope they fix the casting issues, otherwise March Madness is going to be March Sadness. *Edit* day 2 of use & I've officially spent more time dealing with buffers than watching basketball

Good things are that you can watch the games live and scores are updated quickly. In portrait there are game stats shown below the game view. Bad things are you can't cast unless you have an account with one of the channels that are showing the games (i.e., tbs, truetv, tnt) but if you had those then why need the app at all. And the streaming never was smooth especially the sound. It didn't freeze, but I never heard a sentence that wasn't marred in some broke speech or the video a little jumpy.

Great app for getting with friends and making brackets. But when it comes to being able to watch the games, one of the biggest parts of the app, you get a 24 hour TRIAL!? If you dont have DirecTV, Dish, ect. you can't watch after the 24 hours! If you have those, you are probably watching on the tv, NOT YOUR PHONE! If this can be changed so people without those providers, like me, can watch all the games, LIKE YOU ADVERTISE, that would be great.

I could've watched the Sweet 16 easier with BINOCULARS, and I'm six states away from Indiana. App is super jittery and choppy during games, but MAN do those conmercials stream perfectly. Want to watch the last 2 minutes of a nailbiter? Too bad! The app crashes and goes blank...AND WHEN YOU REBOOT THE APP, GET READY FOR AN EXTRA COMMERCIAL, even during game play. Even during the last 10 seconds of a 1-point game. This app kinda sucks. (Unless you LOVE Nissan and Geico ads. Then, it ROCKS!)

I don't think Turner expected such a demand for watching the games with this app. All of my other streaming works flawlessly, but this app buffers every 5 to 10 seconds. Obviously the servers can't keep up with demand. Doubt they can fix it over night, but this is a horrible experience. On the plus side, the commercials stream without a hitch - go figure. Using TiVo Stream 4K which is basically Android TV on WiFi. Speed test shows 50+ MBPS down and 15 MBPS up. Edit - still not working. Trash.

Posting this to hopefully get a quick fix. I've used this app for years, never had a problem until this year. Now the app crashes constantly, particularly when I'm trying to sign in to my tv provider. It crashes every time I try and so I'm pretty much out of the free-to-watch limit and it's only day 1. Please fix so I can watch on my phone as I have for 5+ years now. *UPDATE: Disabling Chrome worked. Thank you developer for the quick response!*

Every time I sign in with cable provider it crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. I can watch with preview but am almost out of time. I have never had this problem with a streaming app. Super frustrating as I'm away from home all weekend. I have used the app in the past and never had a problem. Not sure what changed but at this point it's not very useful.

If I had a paid subscription to the tv channels I would be watching the games on my TV not my phone. For those of us who have OTA TV the 4 hrs free was great. Wish I had fully read the terms so I could have saved time for further in the tournament. I think at least 1.5 or more of those 4 hours of course were advertisements.

*2015* With every update there seem to be more bugs than the last time. Every time the damn resolution clears and it's not tin sounding and pixelated it freezes and refuses to play. Now it's stuck on a god damn loop and keeps freezing and replaying the same 30 seconds. ********** *2023* Here we are 7 years later and some how this is still one of the worst apps and platforms ever. I've had to reauthorize 7 times in 6 hours.

App constantly glitches and shows the spinning circle of death. Only way to fix is back out and go back in. Can't wait to have that happen in the final seconds. Edit: Words cannot describe how bad this app sucks. Constantly glitching and not loading. They have to be losing millions in revenue from the sheer amount of people that stop watching because of how bad this app works.

It is great to be able to watch games on the go, but there are issues with the app. The game summary does not include the score. I can quickly see which team has mor defensive rebounds, but not who is winning the game. The stream occasionaly hangs, even on wifi, and the app sometimes crashes when switching from portrait to landscape modes. The game days are wrong. For example, it says the third round starts today when it actually starts tomorrow. Great service but poor QC and bug fixes.

Most years this app is an easy 5 out of 5 but it's terrible this year. First, it buffers or freezes constantly. Second, the interface consistently gets stuck on the screen and won't disappear unless the app is rebooted. Third, I've had times where the "Sign In" option was completely non-functional. Fourth, the screen will go black and start a countdown to switch you to the next game without waiting for the current game to finish. I've missed multiple last second shot attempts because of this "feature". Overall, just a really poor app this year, which is confusing given the usual track record of quality.

Same this year! 2025. Just get a Tablo to stream TV onto your mobile while at home, if your TVs are otherwise occupied, (by the wife or kids, LOL!) Just skip this app. Worst app ever. Refuses to load for several minutes on 5G or fiber Wi-Fi, so it's not a connection issue. If it ever loads, like others have said, don't click over to another app for any reason or it's crashed & gone. It is infested with ad-ware that bloats & clogs it all up. Needs a plunger! 🪠 It's ridiculous.
