How does it work?
Installing Nero Streaming Player Pro, it allows to play photos, videos & music from your phone or tablet to your Smart TV or DLNA receiver. Just connect your phone, PC, NAS and Smart TV to the same WiFi network and get started. Open the app and select a photo, video or song and click on the TV symbol on the lower right corner. Choose one target device and get your media on the big screen or your audio system with this simple DLNA player!
How to play media from NAS to Smart TV using Nero Streaming Player?
Just launch the uPnP / DLNA compatible media server on your NAS. Nero Streaming Player Pro will show a complete list of all available servers. Select your preferred one and browse or cast all media located on your NAS.

Just download and install Nero MediaHome from www.nero.com. Simply click "Nero MediaHome" in Nero Streaming Player Pro and with one touch, you will jump right into the timeline of all the photos and videos located on your PC. Paid for ad removal, nas streaming. Got more ads and a 10$/yr bill if I want to steam. AVOID THIS SCAM.

I like the app but the reason only three stars is because i can no longer connect my laptop to my phone like i used to and i cant send feedback in the app for some reason, unless I'm supposed to troubleshoot?

This app does not decode wma files. It is useless to me since Google could not come to terms with Microsoft to include it in the latest Android systems.

DOESNT WORK. Shows servers while scanning but wiem i choose to play from PC or NAS, shows 0 servers despite it found three. And this is NOT a FULL version, its a scam! To have full streaming you have to buy VIP version, pro isn't enough!

Don't bother paying for the pro version because they just replace the ads with their own to induce you to upgrade to a payed plan. It's just as slow and annoying as the free version.

I did love this app. I used it regularly to stream from my NAS to my TV. I bought Nero Platinum for my home computer and this app worked well. Now the money grabbers want to charge a subscription for it use. I'm uninstalling the app and won't purchase Nero software again until they drop the subscription fee.

I tried using this to cast YouTube. It played on the TV and my device at the same time but they played differently and it was a mess and I had to stop. Then I tried casting a video on my device. Trying to find the video I wanted was time consuming and difficult and I finally gave up. I've deleted this app and I'm certain to be happier for that

I paid for the 'Pro' version, but the publisher later decided to demand an additional subscription for all interesting features. Since that 'VIP' package cannot be purchased but only rented by forking over ever more dough month after month, year after year, I searched and found two functionally superior competitor products that cost less to buy forever than what this milkingware will set you back within two years. Consequently, I switched to the better alternatives and uninstalled this cash grab

A nice and simple casting service that basically works, unlike many I have tried! The best feature for me is that you can select files in another app, such as gallery, and then share/send to Nero Streamer and they will play as a slideshow on your DNLA, Chromecast etc renderer/display. Hence cast enabling apps that otherwise are not castable. Only a few casting apps do this but it is a game changer for me. Many thanks.
