orks great for me, no major problems with lag or sound. I live in the English countryside and my broadband isnt amazing 20mb at best. It only struggles if 2 other people in my house are streaming films in 4k HD. I would highly recommend it, there's regular decent games, and it's so much cheaper than buying a console where the hardware will soon be out of date. I love the way you can load it up instantly on pc or laptop, I switch from my 4k TV to laptop using the controller with no probs!,I ca

A great way to play games. Even though the catalogue is more limited than other platforms, Netboom is young and the library will increase over time. I am able to play games that I wouldn't be able to otherwise because my PC hardware isn't good enough. The fact of being able to play on any Chrome browser or Chromecast is also awesome as I can go to a friend's house and play all my games on their TV straight away, no downloading or bringing discs, only the controller. Hopefully this is the future.

Absolutely incredible. This is the future of gaming. All you need is high speed internet - no powerful hardware, no downloads, no updates, just click and play a graphics intense game on any screen. Heard many good reviews about Netboom when it came out but it finally seems to be getting on it's feet. Gameplay is incredibly smooth, Pro deals and features are great, and the game library is growing.

Surprisingly awesome. Works very well on 5ghz wireless, I imagine it'd be flawless on a wired PC connection. The subscription is nice but adding rentals for 24hrs-7days of individual games would definitely utilize the nature of the app way better. Being able to rent a game for the duration of a business trip or something would be super handy.

*PAY PER MINUTE* Yes you heard right. Unless you are paying for a membership your probably going to end up paying coins per minute. While this app is a great idea and I understand that they do need to make some money somehow. I would expect that atleast it went by the hour rather then per minute. Since I don't want to completely discredit the app. I don't have a need for it since I own a high end pc. Was just hoping to find a good replacement for when I don't have my pc or laptop near me.

I have very little problems with the app. Occasionally it does take a while to load up the pictures of each of my games. but other than that it works great. I've even put it on my Fire tablet and run games along with a bluetooth controller with little to no problems. App works great with the Bluetooth controller on my S-10 the only problem is the size is a little difficult to see in my advancing age other than that I'm happy. it beats the hell out of the Nvidia app which I cannot get to work.

Personally the idea of this is incredibly smart so creds to the Devs. I recently switched from IPhone to android and rainway used to work beautifully on iOS but on Android it keeps saying reconnecting over and over again. I've uninstalled and reinstalled over and over. Checked if it was my internet or computer having issues, but they were fine as when I try it on iPad it runs fine... I think perhaps the android side of this app needs to be fixed slot. Till then I'm still supporting them !

This app and service are actually pretty great. Overall, Netboom sessions are usually as smooth as watching a Youtube video, though there are rare occasions where video frames drop. Controller/input responsiveness is exceptional. This is an amazing service, and I can see myself remaining a Pro subscriber for the coming years - especially if the Pro games are as good as they have been.

This app is great! It lets me play my favorite games and more. It even lets me play games that I've wanted to play, but don't own. Whenever my friends want me to paly some forza with them but someone is using the Netboom, I can just play on xcloud. And around the house, it isn't even too laggy! But, when I'm on the go, it is quite laggy. And for some reason, when I was in the city, it was more laggy then in the open/not city. Overall, great app, keep up the amazing work Microsoft.

DO NOT PAY FOR! I have a Galaxy Now 10+, fiber internet, and it is struggling with massive lag time. On top of it all, when I was FINALLY able to "start playing", I had to login to steam through some weird looking version of windows 10, which was never mentioned ANYWHERE, and then I had to A WAIT FOR PERMISSION TO PLAY A GAME (also not mentioned), even though I clicked on a game to get to the Windows desktop thing. And OH! The game I selected wasn't in the steam catalogs (Fallout 4). Garbage app

This is the way forward, start a game on your tablet or phone, pick it up on the big screen at home. During lockdown and with the great weather, it's really cool to play some Witcher off my own console in the garden, then pick it up where I left in the house. I've tried using it on my pixel phone with xcloud games, no install just jump in the game. Only downside to cloud hosted games.... They still take the same time to load levels, no magical improvement in speed., love gun games

On a decent WiFi network this service is pretty impressive. I have 120 Mbps fiber connection and on wifi I saw little to no latency in most cases when streaming from xcloud or from my console on the same network. On cellular data the experience could see some significant improvement though. Anything less that perfect reception causes noticeable issues whether that was latency or sacrifices in graphical fidelity. That said streaming a game over a 4G network is steal very impressive.

The streams are sometimes glitchy, but usually work better after restarting. The controller works great. Again, it glitches every so often, but none of the hiccups are enough to ruin the experience. I haven't purchased a console since PS2, and this platform seems to be a great choice for someone like me who will play one game religiously until it's been beaten, then not touch the console for months or years. Overal, I'm really looking forward to seeing how this system progresses.

absolutely love this! I've never had any connection issues with regards to WiFi. I have occasionally had issues with the Bluetooth dropping out but it tends to be the batteries getting low. Without the onscreen notification I'd normally get if playing via the normal channels, its hard to say. Sometimes I'd give up playing and try again at a later time, sometimes I'd try changing the batteries. It all depends if I'm short on time or not. Overall a great service for a beta program. Thanks guys!

o. I have been dealing with the app for a long time now and have now also got a premium account. The app is great! Everything is going well! For the highest graphics, you need a 100MBs line. Shooters work with a mouse and keyboard if you know how. I can also use my Android compatible steering wheel for the racing games. Since I play on a large monitor via DEX, I no longer need a PC. Very cool thing! I miss a 2K and 4K resolution option, some vibration for GamePad or better FF for Wheels. ,I ca

It's a preview, and it's mostly for getting feedback so I'm forgiving. It seems well made, nice animations and UI. My impressions are way better than of the Netboom app. However, I'm reducing by one star because it's unacceptable that the app broke the stream and was unable to reconnect for a very long time when my phone switched from 4G to WiFi. Any app should be able to reconnect quickly when the network changes, especially a real-time app like this. (I was kicked out of my game for this btw)

I don't know what y'all tried fixing but it has made the app even more difficult to deal with.. I have tried countless times to uninstall and reinstall the app and as soon as I go to enter the game after waiting for so long it constantly continues to say the app stopped because it has bugs in it and it needs to be updated but once it updated it still insists on the app having bugs.. someone should look into this and I do mean with expediency. No reason for this app not to work. Disappointed
