I've only been using this for a couple of weeks, today was the third time the alarm has failed to go off. One of those times may have been due to my phone restarting to apply an update but I can't see what would have caused the other two. Uninstalling as I can't trust the alarm will go off.

I absolutely love this app, but as a lazy solution finder i can't stand not being able to restrict volume... in this way the app doesn't work for me as I end up lowering the volume to 0 and falling back asleep, please fix if possible. for context I'm using a Redmi Note 11 Pro 5g. Thanks :) edit. I know that I can do it but, when I actually do it, it simply doesn't do nothing, i can't restrict fhe volume... 2nd edit. the developer isn't replying usefully....

I really love this alarm app, at first I got it because it was open source and could play through Bluetooth (which the pre installed app on my phone can't do?? like what?) but soon learned of it's capabilities such as forced nfc scanning to turn it off. I seem to have lots of suggestions (which I keep forgetting cause I stayed up late messing with this for fun) and who knows, maybe I'll get in contact with the awesome developer behind this, or maybe I'll even see about adding features myself! :D

This app is lightweight and the alarm works reliably. Everything works as intended and it's very well made. I have only /one/ issue. For the first time in years I was doing well with this app and an NFC tag strategically placed in my bathroom - until the devil in me discovered that I could just close the app to shut off the alarm. Is there any way to make this app persistent and require the NFC tag to close the app in general? I have Tasker although I don't know what I can do to achieve this.

Works good and it's minimal. But after a snooze, you can deactivate the alarm without using the NFC. As someone else said, a devil can still oversleep... [EDIT2]: with your mod It prevents you from dismissing the alarm, but if you open the alarm details, one can remove nfc. Alarm already snoozed don't go off anymore!

A reliable, versatile and highly customizable alarm clock app which gets constantly improved, without making any compromises to user's privacy. It's also one of the very few alarm apps that offers short auto snooze and auto dismiss time options (seconds), which are greatly appreciated features by all light sleepers. The heavy dozers are covered too, no worries 👍Great work, pal!

Love this app and wanted to drop 5 stars. Although, with the release of One UI 7 as of a couple weeks ago, for some reason the alarm is always dismissed simply by opening the app. No setting change will fix these, even NFC. All I have to do is unlock my phone and the alarm will be completely dismissed. Would be so insanely helpful to see this patched. thanks!!

I like it! I glued a NFC tag next to my coffee maker so i have to get there to stop the alarm. I would recommend the option of adding location to the set alarms in case you are not at home and a forgotten alarm goes off and you can't stop it without that nfc tag. I would use it like this forever, though!

everything works except the early dismiss feature. there is no notification at my chosen period to prompt me of my upcoming alarm that gives me the option to dismiss it early like the built in alarm clock on Android. Unfortunately it's not usable without that. otherwise it's a really great app and deserves a 5 star

Great alarm clock with loads of features but unfortunately I can just turn it off as I have access to the home screen, so I can just press on the 'active in the background' button and close which then turns the app to sleep. I think there should be a screen which stops you from doing that. Other than that it would be a 5 star review.

Amazing app, just one small I wish it'd have would be an option to set up multiple nfc tags and let the app make me scan them all in a random order. I have a really tough time waking up and whatever forces me to think will help. Even something like "hey, you got 5 tags set up. Here's an equation. Whatever equates to X is the tag you have to scan. Do this 3 times in a row without failing and the alarm turns off".

Excellent Alarm. Open source, works perfectly and it's really helped me a lot. No misfires has ever happened to me so far which is less than I can say for other alarms I've tried on the market. Kudos to the developer. Edit: it's 2023 at the time of writing this. I installed the app in 2021, and still haven't had to suffer a single misfire. Still perfect!

Awesome app that is genuinely the only app that can get me to wake up and start my day. I want to give you a genuine thank you for creating this, it's is the reason I don't sleep 18 hours a day anymore (yes, I actually slept that long when possibly, and when not, I slept shorter but always (not exaggerated sadly) got late to school). That said, I've noticed a little bug. When using a % character in the name of the alarm, the TTS voice will read part of the name, afterwards the app freezes.

Thank you do much for adding the hourly repeat function. I was using the app as an hourly meditation bell and now it will be so much easier. Great app!

Default Setup Needs Fixing. If say you connect your phone to a Bluetooth device like headphones the alarm can only be heard on the headphones and not the phone itself. This is bad because sometimes you pull out the headphones while sleeping. With other apps the phone itself will always sound off whether it's connected to to something or not. Probably a way to change this but it should be on by default. Otherwise a nice alarm app. Better design than the default Google alarm on my Moto G.

I support genuine developers such as this, and I truly appreciate your work. One situation that is causing me trouble: there is no option to Refresh the media sync, and; there is no option to navigate through your files using a third-party app, such as Xplore, to select tracks. They are related, but perhaps two separate issues. Kindly fix, Gabe!! :( Thank you so much!! Can contact you via email if necessary. - Saph

Thanks for letting me know about the Dismiss Early option. Unfortunately, it's not working. What option should I select if I want to skip the alarm the following day? Update 10/27: Hi Gabe, I tried following those steps before but it didn't work and the alarm went off anyway. Turning it off works if the user remembers to turn it back on, but sometimes I forget. The main app I use has a "skip next" option where it resets to "on" automatically.

I appreciate the care and effort put into this app, plus the fact that it does not collect any data whatsoever and doesn't show you any ads either. There is a lot of options to personalize your alarms, and if I were to suggest anything would be to have an option for a "NFC scan track" where I have to scan X amount of tags (random or in order) before the alarm can be dismissed. Also an option to show the delete and copy buttons. Took me a minute to find out I have to swipe lol ..

Speedy fix after recent bug. This app is fantastic, I've been using it for years without any issues. I used to chronically sleep through my alarms. nfc forcing me to get out of bed and go touch my coffee pot to turn it off has completely solved that problem from day one. Edit, thank you for fixing the issue quickly! 2160 times this app has saved me from sleeping in or being late, thanks!
