Had to drop it to 2. I love the app overall still. Wish syncronization between devices was a bit better. Instantously updating my devices I have the app on to the changes I made. more importantly for months now it's been crashing and freezing. Most often when I'm disconnected from internet and have no mobile data. But even sometimes connected to a network it still crashes. Many times I don't even get to the main screen and when I'm anled to click on a note it crashes then. Please do fix this

It's a fantastic app, honestly. It does everything it needs to do, and with little to no latency issues whatsoever. Ads are out of the way, and don't block the screen. It helps with organization, jotting down quick ideas, and keeping information in a space that's hopefully quite secure. I would like to suggest the ability to hide individual notes behind a password or PIN to keep people from seeing the notes you want to keep most hidden, but beyond that, this is fantastic work.

Very good app, great place to keep track of when I fuel up my car, as my fuel gauge is not reliable. A notebook can be misplaced but I always have my cellphone. Update, 3-29-2020... before allowing to exit app, a game appears of which I have to wait a few seconds before the x appears. Its a stupid spider game, of which I am VERY opposed to, as I have a phobia of spiders, if this is not removed I will delete the app... Addition, Jan 3, 2025- Have been using this app over 4 years now, very satisf

It takes notes, cuts and pastes, and has folders... most of the things I need. I wish you could move files from folder to folder or into a folder. The menu shows this option, but it doesn't work. Edit: it has begun crashing frequently. Perhaps it has recently done an update.

Great, unfortunately had to change phones somehow and lost years of notes on this app on my other phone because the screen died. That phone had the app transferred from one before it, so I was sad to lose all of my stuff. Then today I booted it up and all of them appeared, I don't know how. All I did was look thru my files to see if I had a backup with the backup and restore feature and I couldn't find one. Boot the app up later and BOOM. Thank you for years of service!

The last update basically broke the app. Every time I go to open the app, I have to go into my settings and force stop it or else it just sits there with a black screen and doesn't fully open. There's so much lag when I try to type in some notes. I've been using this app for years and have never had such bad issues before. I'll change my rating to 5 stars if this gets fixed, but I'm really upset with the app as it is now and am considering switching to a different app if this doesn't get fixed.

I've had this app for many yrs I love it it's easy helps remind me of things good for putting down a grocery list, some goals, reminders, and more can even attach files it's the bestest. Have no complaints simple easy and very very helpful and handy! And can't forget it or loose it like a piece of paper or pen it's right there on your phone!! Thanks for this app.

Helps keep me organized and I don't forget important and less important things. It was good until it isn't. It has an issue now. It won't open unless I go to settings and then to apps and then to k m notes. Even then it won't open individual notes. It just goes to black screen. It's sporadic. I haven't been able to figure out why. I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling but would lose all my data.

Super useful. Edited: Dropped the rating from 5 stars to 3. There was a new update that changed the app and makes you answer yes/no when you click the X on the checklist to delete an item. It makes you do that every single time! It is super annoying! Edited again: they fixed the problem mentioned above pretty quickly. Now the app is awesome again.

I like this app a lot! I use it for everything: ideas, grocery lists, etc. I go thru it occasionally and delete what's no longer relevant, I like that it maintains notes for a very long time. I haven't used any customization. The ads don't bother me, in fact I've clicked on ads several times because they pertain to business or education. This app is super convenient! Four years later from original review and I'm still using and enjoying the app😊

Favorite notepad. I've tried a few different ones, but this is the best. It has great features but isn't too complicated. You can highlight, bolden, italicize, change colors. Make notes, check lists, voice clips, and there's a draw pad. You can organize by folders too. I think my favorite feature is that you can lock certain notes and not have to lock the whole app. I highly recommend.

Update: uninstalled and reinstalled and got old notes back. New notes from before any backup are still gone. Annoying. But I still gave back a couple stars Original: Idk what happened, but i lost all my notes and they are not appearing in backups, and there is no folder in my phone's drive. Everything erased itself and my notes are all gone. No problems for a year or two, but this is strange. If it corrects itself, i will update my review

I used to love this Note app and have been using it since 2022. It was really helpful and covenient to use back then. But now it became glitchy and buggy 😕 sometimes or oftenly, it turns to Black screen everytime I open my notes. This just happened a few months ago and still persisting till now. Hopefully, a good ol' update can soon fix these bugs or glitches.

Could use a little Help for new users, otherwise very good. Easy learning curve, adequate text/font, etc, options. Synchronizes thru Drive to other devices!!! Many uses, many options. I've had it for 5+ years and couldn't function without it. Very low one-time premier purchase price, transfers to new phones. LOVE it!

Update on 2025. As a writer, I have been busy, using this App daily. It has helped me tremendously!. Down below I describe the simple to use features. I recommend this App to anyone! I have been using this App for several years and I enjoy it because it is simple and easy to use. The checklist comes handy when I go grocery shopping. I like the feature that it is possible to lock the notes individually and also make them colorful. I can organize my folders too. I really like this app!. 💓

07/2019 Really like this app. It's a 'Homescreen app' 11/2020. Still really like this app - it does everything I need it to. 12/11/23 I continue to use this app after 4 1/2 years and still really like it a lot! It meets all my needs and is easy for this almost senior citizen to use. October 2024, I'm still using Notepad. It allows me to easily add or edit, which is great for ongoing notes. I just discovered the sort by background color! It's super easy, and I'll be able to easily group notes.

I like that I can color code my lists and that I have options for different formats for my note-taking. I wish it was easier to go back and forth between sections, or maybe have two open at the same time. Sometimes I'm trying to work off of two sections of notes at the same time and it's a little clunky to go back and forth. Also, if I press a list ítem for too long, it freezes the screen and I have to go out of that section, then go back in, then drag my list item from the top of the screen.

I use this app a lot to take down notes and I appreciate the simplicity in its use, but not its backup. To down/upload the file documents from two separate phones, one would have to overwrite the other, possibly losing some doc data. What would make it exceptional is a way to merge data based on each file doc by title and recent date. Currently, it remains two different backup files, which has to be carefully pieced together. Perhaps this feature is a paid version.

This is a nice little quick notes app. I use it a lot for making a shopping list. I also use it to make notes of things I don't want to forget and project checklists. Google's Keep Notes app is approaching the usefulness of this program so it will be tough to choose soon I think. This app has checklists & notes and allows voice entry, handwriting, & keyboard entries.

so far, I love it, friendly usage, records just what I need, and all related functions as well. under lock and key, so it doesn't drift out there for all eyes. I highly recommend it, but what's more than that, the nice ap appearance and reliability, it's free of ads, however they aren't at all annoying as others. And this ap is one that doesn't ride on high fees to use it. thank you ! highly recommend this one.
