Notepad - simple notes

I have used notepad for years and it's great! A problem 3 days ago, I had scare that my phone had been hacked. & notepad didn't open sucessfully. But it seems the problem was compatibility with a Google update. Notepad support answered my query promptly & when I rebooted my phone again as advised, by this time the google fix was there. All happy again.All notes stiĺl there!!

A nice app for everyday notes; but also great if for example you wanted to type a paragraph and print it, but you don't have a computer. I can also use different font sizes by adjusting the font either in-app or in my phone settings. I also like this particular app because it - isn't packed with useless features - does not require internet connection or login - supports dark mode - simple layout/navigation My only complaint is, of course, the ever-present ad banner showing women's clothing

Great app, have used others & this is the best so far. Love the easy backup function but none of the 'categories' came through, had to manually enter all of them after a restore, what a pain, can this be fixed? Also whenever I tap on a note to open it the keyboard automatically comes up which I immediately have to close since I'm usually looking for some data in the note. Can this be changed. Other than these two issues love the app, the way it works, the categories etc. Almost a five star app.

Nice! Easy to use and efficient, however some problems, extremely difficult to change the text color and very limited lines of text, when it indexes over to the next line,or leave a space. it refuses to erase the first letter unless you erase the entire line and start over again

Been using this app for a long time, and it hasn't disappointed. Switched my phone recently, and the backup/restore was so easy, really thankful for that option. Also I'd love if you guys would add these features: 1. "Pin to the top" specific notes on main screen. 2. Make it an option for when launching the app, it shows a "categories" screen as the main screen (like browsing folders on app start). 3. Add option for bullets and numbers to the formatting bar. Love your work. Keep it up!

Have been using this app for several years, never had any problems or issues. Recently experienced a problem that turned out to be unrelated to the app itself. It appeared that I had lost all my data. I contacted app support who were very quick to respond. They were able to guide me through the data recovery process with no loss of any data. I will continue to use the app knowing a very capable and responsive support team is ready to assist should I need it.

Have used extensively for a number of years. Loved it. Must be due to recent upgrade, but there is no longer a margin on pages & when printing, it prints on paper edge losing a character or 2. Also, title no longer prints. 03/19/24 - App won't open on my galaxy s22, get msg. This app keeps crashing because it has a bug. Is there a new version or an update that I've missed? 03/20/24 - Thank you ever so much for the speedy response & action. I truly appreciate you and your app.

One star because I am unable to use the app sitting in religious services with the type of ads you run at the top of my screen. I've tried to get rid of them but they return. I'm returning to my older note program that didn't have your problems. None of my other apps have your ad issues. I don't participate in ad choice programs. The problem is entirely you and it's annoying.

edited this review because the selecting text controls on phone are extremely annoying and whenever i press down on the digital keyboard (on phone) it sends me to the bottom of the note, forcing me to scroll back up again, add on the fact theres a lot of lag, least on my end and its super frustrating. it wont let me select past where the digital keyboard blocks, so the highlight while selecting stops going down past where your digital keyboard is, maybe add a zoom out/decrease font size feature?

I think I found my favorite notes app! I have a bit to learn but so far this is a pretty simple notepad that can be cateorgized but not so cluttered as other apps I've tried. Some are too busy and complicated for what I want. I lost my Notepad that was on my android phone and about 200 notes, recipes, etc. I'm still angry! But after trying 12 other Notes apps and uninstalling them, I found this straightforward, easy to use first time, very nice app. I appreciate it!!!

Works perfectly and I have never had issues and I've been using it for nearly a year at this point. And the extra features are just nice add-ons Edit: after using this for more than a year now I've come across some issues that are extremely frustrating to deal with. The most prominent one being that whenever you're in a category and you click on one of the notes and click back, instead of taking you back to that same category it puts you back where ALL the notes are. This needs to be fixed.

I absolutely love this app, & I use it almost every single day. I love the fact that it has categories, & read mode. However, the reason I give it four stars is because I wish I could lock certain memos. You can use a password to open the app, but I wish I could lock certain memos with a pin. Like having an option if you want to lock a memo, leaving the others unlocked. Having that feature I feel will improve the app experience. As I cannot find another app that has categories & memo locks.

I have used this app for probably 5+ years. I was looking for a simple notepad to keep work and to-do list. This app.is exactly what I needed. Very happy with it, the only mildly annoying thing is the adds, but they keep it very small and unintrusive. I just discovered that you can export your notes in .txt file so you can move them to your PC or another phone.

Very nice, basic note taking app. Works pretty well without major hiccups, and works with voice recognition too. The only thing is that since notes can get long pretty quickly, I wish there was a way to immediately go to the bottom of the note right away (when u open up any note, it starts from the top), but there isn't - you have to scroll manually all the way down. It can be tedious each time, so I wish they just added a button or something that lets u go from top to bottom at will.

I like the notepad app but having attempted on no less than 3 occasions to stop seeing adds by viewing a video I still have ADDS! I have watched the videos to their conclusion and when the x appears, supposedly allowing me to close the video, it won't close. I tried numerous times to close it by clicking the x but it just sits there with a big INSTALL button waiting to be pressed. I hit my back button and am told that the video was interrupted try again later. NO! I will find another notepad ap.

Best Notepad app hands down. Simple and effective. Even has a ton of features that I've never bothered to look into over the last few years. I'll be categorizing and coloring my notes soon :) Wish there was an option to purchase to disable ads, just to support the developer. I don't mind the ads though, as they're very unintrusive. I also just discovered there is an option to watch a short video and disable ads for 10 days for free. Neat!

This has been a very handy simple way to keep notes. I use this app to remind myself of questions to ask the doctor plus their response, recipes I find, websites i want to remember, hacks I read about, etc. I can import and export. Files saved easily. Limitations: It does not have auto correct, voice input or link ability; but for what it does, it does it well
