Love the fact that if I'm going to be late I can set up a payment arrangement and still keep my insurance from being cancelled. I have had a very pleasant experience with ocho. Also like that I can pay for insurance every two weeks instead of monthly or every 6 months or yearly.

lowers your down payment on policy and also builds you credit they bet all other quotes I can't say names but Generally speaking Lol I recommend

I'd give it zero stars if I could. This app is a scam you pay then they send you a text the insurance company raise the rate so you'll have to pay more before the insurance can be activated of course you never have insurance...UPDATE I still don't have a refund for my $148 I guess I'm just gonna have to accept it as a learning experience. Another update. 1 day after my 1st update to this review when I complained about still not getting refunded ocho finally refunded my money almost 2 months

I was in need of car insurance that I could afford. Ocho was a savior to me. Now I'm fully insured, and I can actually relax in knowing I'm covered! A million thanks to Ocho! What a relief. Other insurances wanted my first born, my left arm and leg, and both feet. I hope their greed causes their stock to plunge.

they don't inform u there's $120 brokerage fee to insure, and then if you want to try canceling your stuff I literally have had it for like a week and a half and trying to cancel it now and they're trying to charge me $161 and then they're trying to charge me $57 twice a month for liability when I can get full coverage insurance for $130 a month which I would have done if I would have known that it was $57 twice a month when I was led to believe it was only $57 a month

App could potentially be a very useful one but i found that the quotes we're actually quite high and unreasonable for the amount of coverages and vehicles. The church a long time to receive back the quotes but usually I received back the quotes with the prices to buy policy at same day. I found gainsco insurance company was able to give me better rates.

I had issues with entering my address, and once the application started there was no way to restart the application. Also when I tried to enter my driver's license number and where I was issued my license it just would not allow me to type it in no matter what I press, got off my Wi-Fi reinstalled the app nothing. So that's basically useless

They really help you with the down payment on your insurance. If you cannot make your payment on time, they will gladly reschedule your due date. They are very flexible and I like paying every 2 weeks instead of monthly. I haven't had any issues with ocho. Everything has been easy and customer service is great. I don't understand why some people have given bad reviews. 5 stars!!!

Contacted Ocho May 4, 2025 with change on policy and was told was working on change i would be contacted by May 6. No contact so called in on May 9th was told they see my request and issues with online system but documents would be sent later that evening or Saturday am. It is going to be Tuesday and still no updated documents. Very inconvenient and customers do not matter and they do not submit insurance compliance to Azdmv i just received a non compliance notification from Dmv .

Really liked them at 1st, pretty flexible, and allow you to extend the payment date but don't miss a payment or you'll be screwed! I had an unexpected emergency, passed out at the grocery store, found out I'm diabetic, ended up in hospital in a diabetic coma, missed payment by 1 day & price went from $91 to $242 because of a reinstatement fee, what's wrong with this world? Now I'm back to square 1 trying to find coverage 🫤

I made my first payment with no issues. I've been trying to make a payment since last night and the app keeps closing. Very frustrating. I have tried everything from deleting the app and reinstalling it. It still won't work.

At first, I thought they were scamming me because the down payment changed the next day. I got a supervisor on the phone, and she explained why and how it was not them. She then spent the next hour personally making it right. I still got my low down payment and no lapse in coverage. Excellent customer service!! I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you, Ocho!!

I signed up for the plan that is supposed to charge you once you get paid. however their system I guess is dumb and practically every charge was a few days before. Problematic since I live paycheck to paycheck like most of America. I swapped insurance companies because of this and now they're threatening to report me to the credit bureau. Didn't realize that car insurance companies could do that like what? terrible

I put a request Over. a Month ago (07/31/2025) into have my car switched over to my new truck and I haven't had any help in this case, I then requested Cancellation, From there I received a ERROR" And the bill went up $30 from 69 to 88 then 99 the 91.36 help me understand why am I getting screwed up the da wall.. help!!!!!! Poor Customer Service for not getting with me about the vehicle Switching 👀

I was unable to change my auto pay method independently on the app, but even after having an ocho representative finalize the change, set it up (it clearly states "Auto pay" on the app next to the new payment method), I still had to manually process the payment. meanwhile after 24 hours of non-payment as a result of Ocho not functioning as it should, I have been informed that a letter cancelling my policy has been sent out. They have my money, but immediately threaten me. Garbage.

this app deserves 0 stars. this company is fraudulent. they will steal money without authorization and try to force you to pay even after cancelling. they will not refund anything, but they'll continue to demand payments even after cancelling your policy. I am reporting this company and their representatives to the better business bureau and to insurance regulators and anyone else that needs to know that this company is nothing but fraudulent thieves. I would not recommend ocho to my worst enemy

it would be great but the first time it accepted my zip code the when it comes to the verification code I tried about 15 times and never received anything. the CSM told me to check my spam messages did that still nothing... I really wish this would work

Very disorganized. No one returns calls. I have my payments set for auto pay and it doesn't work. I've reached out multiple times to have this issue fixed with no results. I also joined Ocho to help build my credit with on-time payments and there's no history of this either. The only good thing about this insurance is that you are able to pay bi-weekly.
