A great game from the past, updated and rejuvenated. Works best on larger screens, but it's fine on my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. The game is still being developed and updated, new versions come out periodically. Having said that, the current version is very good. If you're new to the game, watch the tutorial videos linked to from the start menu.

I like OpenTTD a lot, and I mean it when I say a lot. I won't even count how many hours I spent on the PC version. However controls are awfully ported to mobile version, making it almost impossible to get used to. It's really frustrating when you can't even place tracks properly. If you've never played OpenTTD, I really recommend this game to you. In my opinion it's one of the best economic strategy games. But please, if you didn't like the mobile port, give the PC version a try. It's way better

Reminds me of the 1990s original PC version, which I had spent countless hours of my childhood mastering logistic system. This mobile version is indifferent. No need to have multiplayer features, since I have lost myself in the game. There are lots of mods available, from town names up to AI computer player and realistic types of aircraft. The customization is endless. Disclaimer: this game is not for everyone. Only Transport Tycoon fanatics will endure the hardships.

An incredibly well-implemented port from PC to mobile, anyone with enough playtime on the PC version and familiar enough with a mobile phone should be able to overcome the initial learning curve (mobile controls and panning) with relative ease. Overall it runs smoothly and my first run broke profit in the 2nd year, debt free in the 3rd year with a healthy profit (granted, I know the game and cargo payment value quite well). Very enjoyable game. Thanks for this.

Just as I remember it from the pc, somewhat more challenging using a tiny touch screen but really it's remarkable how well the devs have translated it. Only one real issue - the road bridge isn't a road bridge. It's a rail bridge, meaning I can't build road bridges which, obviously, can be an issue at times. It'd be great to get that fixed. Thx.

Great port of the game, its just like the pc version with all of its features, I have easily been able to download some AIs and graphics packs without any issues. Controls arent so good, one would need a lot of patience to create any larger networks also the UI for events takes up too much space in the lower center part of the screen.

Great! I decided to play this instead of the remake by Chris Sawyer (despitethe graphics being great and reminding me of RCT2) on my Laptop. I tried it on my phone but it isn't the best, as in the interface and controls being the same for laptops. Opening tabs blocks the view of the game and makes it pretty inconvenient, it's ob something small so that's expected. Overall, best game and will continue playing but on Laptop/PC

The game is fabulous, has a retro style gfx, interesting game mechanics and a ton of fun if u like tycoon games. Ive stopped playing the game few months ago and decided to play it once again today (7/3/2022). But sadly, it keeps on crashing every damn time i open it. My device is vivo 1906 with 1.95 GHz Snapdragon 439 Octa-core processor (info for the devs). Hope the devs guys can fix the prob. Thanks and have a nice day.

I loved this game since i played it on pc in the 2000s. However there is a major issue on Android version. I cant build any railways. The option is greyed out no matter what year i tried to start. Any splutions to this problem? I mostly play TTD for the railways so if i cant build rails and trains its not worth it. I will change my rating when i get an answer. TY.

FANTASTIC! It's actual OpenTTD for Android: a bit annoying on placement of certain things - and we know OpenTTD isn't the least wanky experience - so certain things like placements get a bit annoying overtime. And it has the OpenTTD problem of you getting too powerful by the end and the game becoming pointless. But in general, fantastic (quite pure) adaptation!

It's the same old OpenTTD, but jankier. If you're desperate to play OTTD on mobike, then sure, go ahead, it's the same game, but I find the camera controls a bit too annoying and I'd suggest the devs take an example out of other mobike city-builders like PocketCity or TheoTown for reference, especially PocetCity as that game's controls are, in my personal opinion, as smooth as you could really wish for on mobike. Other than that, 5/5, love me some OTTD..

Fun fact: The original Transport Tycoon was made by the guy that made Rollercoaster Tycoon. That's why the artstyles look so similar! Sometimes I wonder if Amity Airfield is an airfield from a failed Transport Tycoon save...

Love this game on the PC love it almost as much here! Look up the wiki a if you are a new player it will help so much. Only complaint is the UI but that's not enough to detract from it being fun as can be! Edit: UI seems to function a ton better noe

Core game is great, android adaption not so much. This port needs virtual mouse buttons and not rely on tap for clicks. Old building games where clicking places objects are terribly inaccurate when using a touch screen tap for placement. You frequently build objects in the wrong locations. Using on screen mouse buttons for clicking and touch screen for scrolling (and menus) would solve this as it would allow the cursor to have the build outline over the terrain as you scroll around.

This game goes very in detail about managing a traffic empire. I have been constantly pouring many hours into this game, and saying I like it is a underestimate. However, there are some bugs, one being your save files will be erased without the owner of the save file deleting it manually. I don't mind it personally, just be aware it can happen. Overall definitely worth it to anyone who is a big transporter or city builder person.

Quite decent attempt to recreate the original. Low score for graphics is due to the fact that this game replicates the original a bit too well and original graphics is, well, lame compared to what it could be today (I still have my original ttd cd). I am kind of sad that the mods are quite dusty and many are broken due to core game advancement. Mod database definately not phone friendly, either, as it is impossible to read descriptions or requirements for over half of the items.

First off, if you aren't interested in strategy, this ISN'T for you. However, if you like retro games, if you like strategy, and you like tycoons, then this is definitely for you. This game is an excellent port of an old game. The game doesn't have an adequate tutorial, so you'll have to find out a few things on your own. Once you get past that, however, things are pretty fun from there. The content is fully customizable from the gameplay difficulty to the controls and button sizes.

The game may seem basic judging by the graphics, but is actually a very in-depth logistics game. You can make complex train networks, busing and trucking systems, along with boats and planes. My only complaint, however, stems from that fact that this a mobile version of game designed for a computer, meaning the controls weren't designed to be used on a phone. Other that that, it is an overall great game.

Great game, amazing job porting from pc, but there's one problem: The hideous control scheme. As a PC port, obviously the original controls are vastly different, but my god I had no idea how much of a blessing a simple mouse and keyboard is. Overall, the devs did the best they could. 4/5, recommend to people with patience and willingness to learn a confusing control scheme.
