****I give up. Your fingerprint option will not work, I've contacted you via email and you respond with a "secure" message that won't open on my phone. When I ask you to reply using regular email I get no response. Worst app ever. It would be awesome if the "date last ordered" would show in order to keep track of when refills are due. ** Your suggestions don't help - I set the fingerprint option each time I log in and the app asks me to set the fingerprint option AGAIN. EACH TIME.

through usage of this site you find what you need but it could be made simplier as it was before you did your updating. there is nothing wrong with leaving things the way they were. There are more touches with fingers and the mouse necessary with the new menu than before. i know the public is keeping pace with new menus all the time, but sometimes simple is better for everyone young and old.

The feature to submit a prescription by taking a photograph has not worked twice now, even after recent updates. When I called customer service, I also found out the submitting by photograph simply sends a fax to the provider to verify. So if your provider is bad as responding to fax or phone calls (like mine is) this feature is not at all useful. It would be great if this was explained when submitting so people would know to contact their provider.

This app does not work in samsung. It will not load anything I click on, won't even let me update my contact info or Dr. I signed in online and was able to update contact preferences, went back into the App after signing out, and still the old phone # and email show there and will not allow changes when I click edit. Lets me type it in, just doesn't save the change. Not to mention I went to write the review and stars were already set at 5. What is up with that? Maybe an old review? Idk.

APP worked nicely EXCEPT for one thing. When any given med is on the screen and ready for "order refill" to be pressed, that little window was largely obliterated by another little window "Checkout (# items)". It was a challenge figuring this out plus difficult to tap or click on the correct spot on the screen. Other than this one thing, the app seemed to be just fine. My phone is LG K20 V and using Android ver 7.0

I use the app approximately every 6 weeks & it seems to require updates every time I try to log on. Password changes have been required too frequently. Today medications are SO slow to load. I've had enough difficulty using app that I'm considering changing all meds back to local pharmacy where I get good service. It just shouldn't be difficult at all to order a refill.

When ordering a refill today I noticed that in small print it was setting me up for automatic refills (unless I unchecked a box). Seriously?? I don't always have the $25 that I need for it on a particular day so setting auto refills just doesn't work. I'm glad I saw it and unchecked it...everyone else, beware! Other than that, I mostly like the app except there is no way to permanently delete meds you no longer take, only hide them.

Revised Review: Optum app customer service contacted me and after trying several things with me suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the app. After doing that, the fingerprint recognition worked consistently. App is useful and relatively easy to use. I lowered the rating because the finger print recognition feature has a big. After setting slider to log in with fingerprint and then using password and confirming fingerprint, after logging off and logging in next time, slider was back to off and had to go through whole procedure again. Clearly there's a big that does not retain the slider setting.

App doesn't work. Every time I try to log in it tells me there's a problem and to try again later. Useless! Deleted and re-installed. Still useless! Doesn't work. Message says there is an issue (I'll say!) And to check back later. Last time I got this message, it went on for weeks - app never worked. Not wasting anymore of my time. Deleting and won't be re-installing! Web site is also not great. Optum doesn't seem to know how to come into the 21st century. May be time to look for new provider!

When you go to check pricing for drugs the current list is incomplete so you can't really check anything. Also they're pull down list only includes one size which is not the size that I was prescribed. I've never found this app very useful. I've been trying to cancel my auto refills for a while and can't even figure out how to make it do that. I vote user unfriendly.

The local pricing for medication simply does not work. Updates to order information is very slow compared to other providers. Transparency with list pricing vs what you actually will pay needs to be more clear on the order screen. Overall app has potential but as-is I think it needs work. Such a great opportunity for improvement but I will not be holding my breath.

The app is like the company, inefficient. You place your order via the app and inevitably have to call numerous times to deal with payment bugs, out-of-stocks, and copay issues. If I wanted to call I would. They contact via email, not app. You must utilize 3 forms of contact in a variety of ways to place a single order. Unacceptable. Slow. Not user friendly from start to finish. Other mailorder services are much more user friendly. This starts with the app.

The old app worked very well, this one may just be different but it is different in a way that is confusing and confounding. Did the IT group do any Beta testing at all with a group representative of your client base. My guess is no. The result is an improvement for someone but not your clients. Seeming fail. Ok details, I logged in because there was a message sent to me about prescription refills. On log in there was no prompt about refills and no idea where to go???

this app is super helpful managing my meds. I get reminders to take my meds and reminders of when I can refil my meds that aren't able to be refilled. I would give it 5 stars, but the whole prescription process is so clumsy in general. not optums fault, but even with the ones that can't be on auto refill, I feel like they could still send the request without me having to push the button, etc. lifes still better than without the app, so 4 stars!!

NOT PATIENT FRIENDLY. I touch the circle that says refills and it automatically puts them in the cart! I don't get to choose! NO notification (NOT EMAIL) reminders, and when they send 3 mo at once, it's really easy to run out. CYA & have weeks of backups, in ALL MEDS. Developers - PLEASE move/change the arrows to change between medications, curved screens cannot use them! Items without refills APPEAR MAGICALLY in the cart. NOT OK, since it charges my card automatically. Tracking is good.

Since last two updates I no longer am able to get into site. Only gives choice of language and stopes. Update is 2.24.2. Please fix. Thanks 2/17/2020 Just redownload app. Still stuck at language page! Look forward to having it work like it used to. 2/20/2020 I am finally able to get into ap but very difficult to manage. Does not function properly. Will not use ap at this point. Will not list drugs. Only able to update profile. AP update not working at all. Back to the drawing board. Many bugs.

UPDATE: The latest update didn't fix anything. clearing my apps cache and local storage did though. Leaving this review up for posterity / in case it helps anyone else. I'm still waiting to get past the splash screen. If the app ever loads, I'll raise it to two stars. Update: I got past the splash screen finally, but neither the register, nor the sign in button works. Kudos to the devs for making progress, though.

This app is non-intuitive. It is missing the most common information on the medication list such as remaining renewals and the last date the medication was ordered. The most infuriating thing that it does is log you off if you change focus for just a second to, as an example, go to a provider's site to request a renewal. If you have several to do, you either have to write them down, or go to the PC where the problem doesn't exist.

2 stars because of poor navigation design. It is counterintuitive to make a payment. I get emails that I have a balance due, go to the app, and it's like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle to pay my balance. I just spent several minutes looking through the screens trying to pay the balance, and gave up. I've never seen an app where it's this convoluted to pay your bill. It should be the first, most conspicuous, most obvious button you see on the screen. Why is the navigation so counterintuitive?

I honestly hate this app and this service, and wish I could use any other mail order pharmacy. Website doesn't load half the time, so I go to use the app, find there's an issue with a refill order, and try to contact customer service. At least before, I could enter my call back number, but the app won't even open the keyboard to enter my phone number now. Uninstalled, reinstalled, and no difference.
