I booked a hotel in St. Louis for 2 nights and received confirmation emails and my card was charged. I get to the hotel tonight and no record of any reservation. Beware, I had to frantically try to chat with support and all they gave me was we will call the hotel to confirm no cancelation penalty. Ummm, orbitz didn't even book it with the hotel,so how does that work? Make sure to call the hotel ahead of time before you arrive! I had to pay walk in rate at $50 more per night. Never again!

So so so disappointed. I absolutely loved this app. Have used it for years. It was so easy to use. My stars would have been 5. Then for about 4 months now it will only open show a message saying too many requests. I updated twice then Uninstalled, reinstalled and still nothing. Why!!?? Orbitz, Please fix soon! I don't want to go to another one.

I find so many great deals with this app on hotels and rental cars. I always check prices on orbitz first because they're hard to beat. I would recommend calling places ahead of time to see if they require deposits for different payment types. I've been hit hard on deposits a few times when booking with a visa debit card. It's not an app issue, just different companies have different policies.

I used to use this app all the time and it was great! However in the last year quality has gone down greatly. The last 4 or 5 listings I have booked were inaccurate (I have a 5 person family, and many, many places that list having a sofa bed, or a king + sofa, don't have that. EVERY hotel that I bring it up to says it's a 3rd party issue.) We also have issues with hotels not having the availability Orbitz says they do. Please book carefully!

The app is good. I have one major gripe. When I send my trip itinerary to people, they cannot open it. It wants them to either download the app, or it says that trip doesn't exist. This is a problem. A very annoying problem. In fact, it would be a one-star problem except other things are very good about the app, so you get 3 stars.

This app is so easy to use. I am able to work my trip and a number of different ways and see the results immediately. Great app / 8/22/21update got the insurance on a rental car they covered everything but admin fee $150. Took a while because apparently they only cover if I took the rental car out of state luckily I had but I did not know that was a stipulation - must read all the information. Still like the app

I paid for my package then instantly the price went down. They offered me a 25.00 voucher. For next time. Fine. I conceded in that part.. But then did not receive the 10% for booking with the app(the only reason I chose them over Exepedia). There were no exclusions mentioned and the trip cost me over 100.00 more than it should have. There was no way to reach an agent WHILE booking. Only after you pay. I feel this is deceptive. I declined the 25.00 since there won't be a next time.

This app started sending spam notifications for sales unrelated to my travels. I've had to block thus app from sending notifications as a result. Unfortunately this means I can no longer receive notifications about flights that I've booked, which is important. Switching to Expedia. Shame. I've used Orbitz for years and now I have to switch to something else.

Platinum level user here.. This app recently started crashing, so I uninstalled, reinstalled, but it's still crashing. Contacted app support, no response. Uninstalled. Update..I upgraded my phone to the new Galaxy S22, and installed the app but it's not working right. When I enter the location of the hotel I'm searching for nothing happens. I can close the app, re-open it, and then the location populates correctly but what a pain. Uninstalling again. Still no support or response from Orbitz.

App is good, but can be better: The app tends to just default to the airport in the main city even if it's 2 hrs away rather than to the nearest airport w/c can be 20 mins away [I am talking about the airport of the state where you intend to go to (eg. Springfield MA). It defaults to Boston MA instead of Hartford CT w/c is 25 mins away from it.] It means you have to do a separate booking rather than getting it all at once.

Convoluted policies that sometimes conflict with hotel policies. They say something is free, but then charge you fees for it later. This app has screwed me over for $60+ 3 different times. And when you talk with support, each person gives completely different answers. It's NOT worth it at all. Especially since you don't really save much anyway. You'll end up paying more in the end. Do NOT give this app your CC info!

App needs work. There is a tab(List/map) right in the middle of the screen covering the map. I like to view the map and then get as close to the venue I'm visiting but once you click one property it stays at the bottom third of the screen and you can't get back to whole map view unless you do a search this area again. Waste a lot of time. And if you got the list view the app stops working.

Awful experience with is about refunding canceling tickets. It takes too much for me to say something bad about a services, but this time I'm making an exception. Do not buy tickets through Orbitz, they start "disconnecting" from the chat, say "not able to work on" a ticket. I mean, easy to buy but a nightmare when things go different than schedule. It shouldn't be like that.

I have used Orbitz for years as my primary online booking site. My recent experience has made me question ever using them again. I booked a hotel stay in March. There was an issue with the card I used, but I didn't know. Jump to August and Orbitz app is showing everything is fine for my stay. I go to check in and my reservation was canceled. The worst part was there was no way to reach out to orbitz to resolve the matter quickly. I'll be more careful in the future... with a different service.

App is currently crashing all over the place. Every time I try to pick a destination and look at potential room vacancies, I get booted back to the start. Destinations I've never looked up are showing in my recent search history. I can't even send feedback (at least to my knowledge) to report the crashes because that causes the app to reset as well. Have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Hotels and Flights ,and Cars, are so easy to find within your parameters. Also, I saved almost $30 on a booking from using them so much. What I like especially is when choosing flights, the screen is very organized, so that it's easy to sort through all the info, including total fees. I have been using them for decades, and they have only gotten better!

App is very annoying when selecting from a list of hotel. It very often confuses a touch for scrolling with a touch for selecting "save" to an hotel. It happen so many times that it becomes extremely frustrating. I never need those "save" feature, which was added fairly recently. Developers need to learn that adding feature for the sake of features does not necessarily make the application better.

Edit: 7/24/22-- There's a glitch they haven't fixed in like a month. Thought it was just me, but it looks like a lot of users are experiencing this issue when trying to book. It's surprising the developers would let it go so long without fixing. 4 stars-- this app doesn't provide access to all features, but it's not terrible. I use this app constantly because I travel so much.

Customer service chat needs work. I waited a while for someone to finally answer, but when they did, I had no idea and missed them. I had been with my phone the whole time but the app makes no sound when someone responds and no pop ups if you're on another app at the same time. Later I tried to reach customer service twice more, waited twice as long, and never got a response. Overall not a good experience. There was no option to call or phone number displayed on the cancellation page or chat.

I've been using orbitzs for literally decades. I liked it because my schedule rapidly changes and I can cancel a flight within 24hrs of booking.. Well, I did just that. I couldn't make a flight I booked 16hrs before and like I have many times before, I had to cancel the flight.. So I did on my dashboard like all other times.. but for some reason this time it magically disappeared on their end and I loose the $300 flight I never boarded and canceled.. not even a credit..
