More About OsmAnd Online GPS Tracker
Log in using your phone number registered in Telegram to enable the following:
• Manage the list of contacts and groups that send you their location
• View the location of contacts and groups in real time on the map in OsmAnd
• Set the time (up to 24 hours) for sharing the location separately for each chat
• Set the GPS sending frequency: from once per second for increasing accuracy to once in 5 minutes for reducing power consumption
• Watch the chronology of your and your contacts' movement
The application sends the Live Location messages to the selected chats for the time you specified, displays a list of your contacts and groups, and checks the chats for the presence of the messages with a location, which are then displayed on the map in OsmAnd.
The application does not send or view text messages.
To view the GPS positions of contacts on the map, install the latest version of OsmAnd or OsmAnd +.
The minimum supported version of OsmAnd and OsmAnd + is 3.0.4.

Relies on Telegram's API rather than Signal or another open and verifiable privacy protocol or service.

Very useful app for you sharing location with your contacts of Telegram. You can see all your sharing contacts on the OsmAnd Maps in teal time.

When you exit the app on initial setup, you can't ever connect to the telegram account and can't use the app, you have to go to settings and clear the data of the app or reinstall it :/

EDIT: With the recent update, all is working great now. :) Thanks!! Doesn't display on OSM anymore. I open OSMAnd to view someone's location, and they don't show. Noticed it yesterday. Is there a new setting in the updated version I'm missing?

неудобно, что передает данные только ограниченное время. отправил ребенка в поездку и не могу нормально отслеживать. сделайте, пожалуйста, чтобы по умолчанию передача была постоянной. и почему-то, даже передав новое местоположение, в заголовке османд показывает исходное. а это уже другой день и сотни км разницы. it's inconvenient when the app sends location only within a limited time. my child's in journey but i cannot track his location. please make the app send it's location constantly by default. and one more issue: even having sent it's actual location osmand shows original one in upper banner but it confuses because it's not the real location.
