The recent update removed a couple useful features that make the app useless if you're not ordering to-go or delivery. The Click Ahead Seating feature that showed the wait time and allowed you to put yourself on the waitlist was removed with the update. So was the in-restaurant bill pay feature. Terrible update that makes app useless to have on your phone unless you frequent their takeout or delivery.

The app seems like it would be easy enough to use...unless you want to order the 6 oz filet. It defaults to 8 oz filet & even when I changed it to 6 oz it still showed 8 oz in the cart and charges for the 8 oz. I decided to d/l the app cuz we order Outback often. But the app doesn't allow me to order what I need so I had to go back to ordering online.

It seemed like a great idea download the app and you can pay your check through your phone and not have to hand your credit card to a server. But the app is full of bugs and Malfunctions. After entering all of my information and entering my information it said my payment couldn't be processed. However when I finally flagged down the server she checked it and said it has been paid. They get a :( for wasting about 10 minutes of my time.

I have tried many times over the last few months to log in to order using the app. I have used three different emails of my own and my husband's email and it keeps coming back saying oops, something went wrong. You try to reset password and it's says that if you in the database, you will get an email to reset, only it doesn't send. I keep loosing points by not being able to log purchases.

Like many others here, I can't log into the app. Also tried logging into dine-rewards through a web browser and keep getting an error there as well. Even went through changing our account password and trying the new password with no resolution. This app and site is garbage...can't for the life of me figure out how it has 4.6 stars when it doesn't work at all!!

Well thought out app. Easy to use. I wish other places would do the same. One problem is the "Get on the wait list." It tells you this is not a reservation. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN USING THE 'Get on the wait list" and just showing up. I reported in and to my surprise I had the same wait time as the people who just showed up. Just delete this useless feature. Won't be using it again.

After trying both app and internet for 1/2 hour we had to give up and call to place an order. In the app, the appetizers pictures were of sandwiches. When trying to order Prime Rib, there were no selections available and kept giving me an error when trying to add to cart. I then went to the website and said there were no stores with address I had. I double checked the address and still no store was showing. This isn't the first time I've had problems and they haven't been fixed.

The latest update completely broke this app. You can no longer pay for in-restaurant checks with the app. I can't sign into the rewards and if I request a password reset the reset email never arrives. (I checked my spam folder). I tried to create a new account using an email address that I had never used at Outback previously and it told me that the account already existed. It doesn't look like anyone tested this update before it was released.

The app is very buggy. I've never been able to actually place an order on what I want. I've had it installed quite a while. Also I've never been able to add my points after the fact. Every time I put all the info in, it says it can't find the transaction. I love the food and the restaurant though. Just wish they could make it all work. Example. Taco bell. App works perfectly. If I have a receipt to want to add to my points, you just scan the bar code. DONE! & ordering food works.

In the time it took to complete my curbside order, the app lost half of my items. I had to start over and do it again. Then I hit the button to submit, only to get a message that my restaurant doesn't accept app orders after 7:30pm (would have been better to know at the start when picking my location). Change location, place order, and find out at pick up that once again the app lost items in my order.

The app used to be wonderful, now with the changes Outback made, it doesn't work right ever. I sign in, then it goes back to sign in. When it was working half right after the updates, it wouldn't recognize my receipt codes, so now I have two receipts that don't count. If I cannot sign in after a few more times, I may as well delete the app. Outback Steakhouse is one of the few restaurants I can eat at due to Celiac, and they're the only ones with a good gluten free dessert.

If the old app was bad, the new one is insanely bad. It GPS connects you to only the nearest Outback (even if you search for one close to where you are driving). Then it does not give you the ability to call ahead or integrate with the paging system. After all that, it will only let you order for curbside. Yikes.

App would not let me order a 15oz ribeye. It kept converting it to a 12oz. Also, when editing an item in the basket, the app changes the order to default values instead of maintaining the original selections. I also tried to re-order a previous order but the app said the items in the previous order weren't available. However, they were available. This app used to be decent, now its a PITA to use. I wound up calling in my order because of the issues I experienced.

Terrible App. Rarely works. I'll spend 10 to 20 minutes just trying to fill my cart, only for load indicators and a multitude of errors to time me out, thus sending me back to the starting point. Same with the web app. Garbage software engineering. I use up-to-date devices like S24 Ultra's, iPhone 15's, MacBook, etc. So no, it's not on my end. Please, be better.

From what i can tell, its great to use if youre a business person and eat out often with clients. Seems hardly worth the effort, because, once earned, according to the website's "How it works", you apparently have only 90 days to use it or lose it; I would assume then that the accumulated points are on a 90-day rolling program. Hence my low rating. Deleting app and likely the initial account I have set up.

1/24/24: Pay via the app was removed around June last year. Put it back please!! Also, need a menu option that doesn't require you to start an order. I shouldn't have to choose curbside or delivery just to see the menu!! Also would be nice if I could expand the items in the activity section to see the receipt that earned the rewards. 2/9/24: No response to my review. Really hate not being able to pay thru the app or online!!! Get ziosk or something, please!!!!!

We can finally see our rewards and actually use them in-app, but you can't see or update the credit card on file in your account, AND the menu is different than when ordering through the Outback website! A big example which is a deal breaker for our family, is that when ordering through the app, you cannot order Seasonal nor Mixed Vegetables as a side with your meal! Only as an Extra add-on! If you can order it on the website, it should be available in the app, too!

After all the trouble of scanning card and pulling up check It said it was not going through. Waitress ran the old fashioned way and it works fine. 1/23 I tried it again for a takeout order. First I gad to update the app, this was encouraging. They improved it, I thought. Wrong!!! It wouldn't do anything. This has to be the worst food app ever.

Whenever I try to use the app or website to access my dine rewards, I'm never actually able to get in. It always says "oops something went wrong. Try again in a few minutes." I thought my password was the problem, but when I tried to use forgot password to change it, I never got the email to change it. I even ordered online, hoping to use the claim missing points to get my points, but it can never find my transaction despite entering exactly what's on the receipt. This really needs to be fixed

App never works, and I've tried many times. I go through the whole ordering process, when I finally get to the Submit Order, I get "an unknown error has occurred". Happens every single time. It's hopeless. Magically, if you go to the website, it works. Is anyone alive over there that can fix this? If not, get rid of the useless app. Wake up people! You're clueless, mate.
