Glitches show up almost every time using the app. The online reservation system is pretty useless adaptation of the full website.

This app is useless. Does not have any of the functions it says it does. No trail maps, no downloads and wont even find national park locations/hikes when I search.

Pretty much useless app doesn't work offline no maps of the individual parks ,the trails and other accommodations, making reservations only leads you to the web portal

Great app. I'm using it to help plan a much needed vacation and having all the Park information handy is very convenient, plus the ability to manage itineraries and packing checklists is very useful.

Keep ripping off people despite huge taxes, $145 family pass or $21 entrance fee for Banff plus Lake Louise parking fees $21 plus shuttle fees $8 per person, the charges you guys charged for early pass are insane, No discount in the winter and Discovery pass is useless for Kananaskis Country visit. Should learn from USA how to manage the prices. Plus deal with rude park authorities

Pointless. Can't search for facilities to plan a trip, no link to booking, all around, disappointing

Horrible. what did you do to the map. After you chose a location, the map starts jumping all over. Left to right or up and down. Terrible!!! Fix it!!!!

No information about the activities beyond a list of activity types. No updates about current conditions, closures, etc. Overall, there are a few paragrapphs about each park and that's it. Very disappointing...

Poorly design app. Not user friendly, more retail information then activities to do in park. Park Canada do you want to sell souvenir that are not made in Canada or have people enjoy the outdoors by hiking and having fun physical activities. Suggestions redesign the app and do it properly.

Truely bothered that tax money was wasted in this. I've seen better out of highschool development groups. This app crashes constantly. Parka 101 does not work at all as the button is dead. No information is provided about sites or anything you would expect in a government app for national or provincial parks. This app holds no value and honestly it would be better removing the lettering of this app from the park pass brochure just to save the money on ink compared to using this app.

So plan a winter trip to Glacier Park. Info on winter permits (no), avalanches (no), snow profiles (no), closure areas (no). This app shows poor effort more like a good idea with little followup. Please link to the above, you already have the websites in the system. Otherwise I would rate this app 0.1 as it sits, pretty (useless).

Not sure what this app does? All trails are not even present. No topo maps. No campsites listed on the map, doesn't identify closed trails. OSM has better maps and is offline. Should be intergrated. And parks could help with updates. Meh..

i hate to think this was paid for by tax dollars that where diverted from the parks where it is needed more. Half of the functionality of this app is missing.. Maybe next summer the summer students can finish this hot mess. All of the camping tutorials are blank pages. This app is shamelessly just a marketing ploy to steal the copy right of your photos and other data. I was expecting an app that tied into the booking system and gave me a list of my reservations. This app does not do that.

As a senior I'm alway a little shy with apps. In this case it was pretty seamless.

I do not see any point to this app. This app is nothing but marketing for Parks Canada, all you can do is see all the National Parks in Canada and read up a little on them, the exact same as the mobile web site. Once you find a park, you need to manually go to the website if you plan to make any reservations. It does not offer access to the reservation system, nor does it allow me to log into my Parks Canada account to review my reservations or make changes.

This app is pretty much pointless. It has none of the functionality I expected. There is no integration with the reservation system, no park/trail maps, no event calendar. It does have some functionality that nobody needs though, like packing lists! Very disappointing. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

Extremely disappointing, but there's no alternative. I tried to book a camping site online, and could not. Booking online is the reason I installed the app! There needs to be another area in the app so you can log on and confirm your identity. Instead you need to find the campsite then drill down to log in. Anyway, once I got to the pay area the app wouldn't let me pay. The Parks Canada Full website is a failure too.

It was slow to load initially but works well for guided tours (download the tour before you hit the trail!)

This summer, our family decided to take in several of the fantastic parks we take for granted in our region of the country. The app was extremely helpful in enhancing our experience both in the planning stages of our trip and while on site. Quick tip: There are several features of the app that require wifi or a data signal (like the guided tours). We made a point of downloading or even screenshotting pertinent things to our trip prior to our travel. Was a game changer!
