Not sure what happened but the app is definitely not working very well anymore. I'm in a very active Patreon group and various members are saying they are randomly being logged out & then have to uninstall & reinstall. Never had that issue before, very frustrating. Still it's a nice way of connecting to content creators & to support them.

None of my downloads for audio seem to work at all, the app has become slower and slower to navigate, and the changes patreon continues to make tend to be far more negative than positive. I've already switched subscriptions off of patreon and onto alternative services where creators have that option and I'm hoping the rest of the creators I support will have an alternative soon as well so I can stop using this awful app and website.

This is unironically the WORST app I have ever used. Videos keep pausing even though I have wifi and then entire playback glitches and I lose my place in the video. Now patreon posts are merging. I click an episode but the wrong audio plays. The UI is unintuitive and annoying to navigate. All your patreon subs on one really long page? Genius! Half the time nothing in the app loads, only way to fix that is by restarting my phone. Just make a usable app!! You owe it to your creators and consumers.

Design of the app is good, but can't get videos to play for more than 5 minutes without freezing. Only way I can get around this is to close out the app and restart it. Pretty annoying. All people are paying for is to watch extra content. Get a functioning video player. It's 2024, get it together

I'll receive a notification for a message in my dm. I can read the message through the notification tab. But once I click on the notification to take me to the message thread on the app, the message doesn't show in the thread. Also, messages I send disappear in the thread. This is very frustrating because I can read the message threads just fine on the desktop version.

I hate the app compared to the website. The abilities are limited. The functionality is basic. It's really bad app development. For example WHY IS THE HOME PAGE THE "MEMBERSHIP TOTAL & PAYOUT". Money hungry people think that "Home" means $$ but I would like it the be where I can view and edit my page. 2ndly, YOU CAN BARELY SAVE ANY CHANCES because once it saves it goes to another page and when you press back there's no guarantee it saved. GET IT TOGETHER! FEES INCREASED BY 3% FOR WHAT?

App is extremely buggy and slow. Basic playback features are broke or missing. Can't use skip 15 secs on audio and can't rewind. The app simply can't do it. Scrolling is laggy. Terrible app for such a popular platform. Also, great feature to have the app completely stop working if you scroll too far sometimes. This app sucks the developers must be capuchin monkeys smashing a keyboard

I use this app almost every day, and it's the most frustrating app I've ever used. If I didn't have to use this app to listen to my podcasts, I wouldn't. It just randomly stops playing in the middle of an episode for no reason and then the screen won't load at all when I open my phone to make it play again. I'm constantly having to close the app, clear the cache, and reopen to make it work. This problem continues through every update and idk why it's never fixed.

After subscribing to the service, the application started to lag on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Occasionally, the video will stop playing in the middle without any apparent cause. Additionally, after using the picture-in-picture option and returning to the original orientation, the application becomes unresponsive to touch commands, requiring me to restart the app. Would give 5 stars otherwise but this issue has been too consistent over the years.

Love the app. Hate that the format was changed and I can't listen to the videos w/o having to have my phone open. Use to be able to listen to it from the locked screen. Having to listen to the videos with my screen open is SUPER annoying and battery draining. Especially when I'm paying for the app. I was able to just listen for years! PLEASE FIX THAT!! PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!

The UI is a nightmare to navigate. Plus I became a member of someone's on the web version so now when I access his page on the app it won't let me access any of my perks because it doesn't recognize that I'm a member of his page. I don't know what changed between patches. Not sure if there's a new dev team or if the original dev team was trying something and it didn't work. Maybe there's something behind the scenes we don't know about. But I hope everything works out.

This app/site breaks constantly. Despite being on the latest version, it keeps saying I have to update to use DMs. Tried to log into the website and it won't send me 2-factor texts, either. So, I can't even use the website. Patreon needs a competitor to put them in their place; when you're the only game in town, the game is likely rigged.

Bad UI, Crashes Often If you use this app to listen to audio, good luck. App crashes at a rate of almost once per podcast episode I listen to. Makes it inconvenient and frustrating to listen to during a workout or drive. The UI is terrible. There's no tab for all the content from the creators you follow, you have to search for them every time. The search filters are limited, and you can't filter audio results by unplayed. Barely functional, frustrating app.

Ive had the app for a while now and loved it. Only issue is with audio items, I really wish I could organize my downloads into folders, have auto play (it's sometimes will and sometimes wont play the next audio), a search function for downloads, and have a repeat button. Else, Ive no real complaints, it has worked well for me as a consumer.

This app has recently become unusable, though Patreon has had a slew of problems since it was created. The most recent issue I've run into (going on 6 months now) has been the app refuses to run in the background, even with the proper permissions enabled and I changed the battery usage settings to "unlimited " to try to see if my battery optimization settings were causing issues. I've done the whole delete the app, re-download, re-login thing multiple times with the same issue persisting.

The app has ceased to work and is no longer being maintained as it was previously! I can't use the app to download audio files. The videos stop, freeze, or lock up all the time, making it impossible to watch them. It's not working for me to load episodes from the creators; it stops after a few services. I still can't watch or listen to them. Most of the recent reviews from others are consistent with my issues... At one time this was a great application and technology.

It was fine at first. Lacking some helpful features, imo, but overall, it did what I wanted. However, here recently, it just stopped working all together. It won't load up any channels except the one I was on when it started acting up. Yet even that one won't load any episodes besides the ones on the screen. I try looking up others and only get a black screen with a spinning wheel. Same if I try to re-play one of the few episodes that are stuck on my screen. Please fix.
